Fine print for cancelling subscription
Fine print for cancelling subscription. After cancelling you get an extra month which you have to pay for. I cancelled while my monthly subscription was active within the first month and before getting charged for the second month. I did not cancel late. I got charged for the second month anyways.

I subscribed to DAZN for one month only to watch the FIFA World Cup. I genuinely did not realize that the subscription would renew automatically.
As soon as I noticed the renewal charge, I contacted customer support, cancelled immediately, and requested a refund because I had no intention of using the service during the new billing period. My request was refused without any flexibility.
What frustrated me even more was the cancellation process. When I tried to cancel from my account, the website repeatedly redirected me to the live chat instead of allowing me to complete the cancellation myself. It felt unnecessarily difficult to end my subscription.
The support agents were polite, but they simply repeated the company policy and were unable to offer any practical solution.
Overall, this was a very disappointing experience. I will not be subscribing to DAZN again, and I hope the company improves both its cancellation process and its approach to customers who make an honest mistake.

One star is too much
One star is too much! Only interested in taking your money by misleading customers. I bought Wilder Vs Chisora PPV as a one off and it didn't state anywhere that it would be a separate charge from the additional monthly subscription. And I know I cancelled the subscription straight after yet they still continued to charge me without any notification. I phoned up for a refund and just kept saying I don't qualify giving me the same automated responses. How they get away with it is beyond me. Avoid DAZN!

I signed up purely to watch the Fury vs Hall fight using the free trial. I had zero interest in a monthly subscription. Like many people, I forgot to cancel before the trial ended. The second I received the notification that I'd been charged, I cancelled immediately.
DAZN still took the full month's payment without any flexibility whatsoever, despite the fact I'd cancelled as soon as I realised. It's hard not to feel that this business model is designed around people forgetting. The boxing event is simply the bait – the real goal seems to be trapping customers into recurring subscriptions and hoping enough people miss the cancellation date.
To make matters worse, I appealed through PayPal, expecting some common sense to prevail. Instead, DAZN fought the claim over a payment they knew was made only because the trial had rolled over automatically. I lost the appeal and was left paying for a subscription I never wanted and never intended to keep.
A company that values long-term customers would show a bit of goodwill in situations like this. Instead, DAZN chose to squeeze every penny out of someone who only wanted to watch one event.
I'll never use DAZN again, and I'll actively tell friends and family to avoid signing up unless they're prepared to set multiple reminders to cancel. In my experience, DAZN cares more about catching people with automatic renewals than providing customer-focused service.

Be careful: This is not a normal monthly subscription
subscribed to DAZN because I believed I was purchasing a monthly subscription. The checkout process was not clear enough that I was actually entering a 12-month commitment with monthly payments.
After realizing this, I cancelled my subscription immediately. However, I was informed that I must continue paying for the remaining months of the annual plan even though I no longer want the service.
I contacted customer support and requested a cancellation and refund, but they refused and simply referred me to their terms and conditions.
I feel that the subscription was presented in a confusing way. If I had clearly understood that I was committing to a full 12-month contract, I would never have subscribed.
I believe DAZN should clearly and prominently display that customers are entering a binding annual commitment before payment, rather than making it appear like a normal monthly subscription.
My experience has been very disappointing, and I cannot recommend this service.

Terrible app. I paid for a one-time fight (Usyk), but ended up being charged monthly for two months. Even after I canceled the subscription, they kept taking money from my card. The Help Center is awful — Chinnam Chandu was unable to stop these unjustified charges from my account. I will never use this app again and do not recommend it to anyone.

Misleading annual plan presented as monthly
I subscribed to DAZN Spain thinking I was paying for a monthly streaming service. The price was shown prominently as a monthly payment, but later I found out DAZN considered it an annual plan with monthly instalments and commitment until 2027.
When I tried to cancel, I was told I would either keep paying until the end of the annual period or pay a €40 early cancellation fee. I also asked DAZN to show me the exact checkout screen or clause explaining this clearly, but they did not provide it.
In my opinion, this is a very unclear and consumer-unfriendly practice. Be extremely careful before subscribing: “monthly payment” may actually mean an annual commitment.

Not worth it! AVOID
Not worth it and I would never recommend this service to anyone. The suddenly get enrolled into a subscription and if you do so via your Apple ID you can’t get any unsubscribe options. If you want to opt out you need to contact customer support which also isn’t straight forward as it took me over an hour to sort my cancellation because I needed to call my bank to get the transaction number. Honestly awful. They also wanted to charge me a £40 cancellation fee for a £15.99 subscription. A joke. AVOID AVOID AVOID

USEFUL ADVICE AT THE END: Do no trust this app: continuous UI changes that lead to literally no changes and confusion. Want to watch your favourite event in playback, dont worry, is never ready when you need it. Find something? Dont try they changed the app around, so no getting used to it. Lag? Yes a lot. One word to sum this app up is chaos. I hope paramount picks up and buys F1 or football to give it back som dignity. Solution is. a VPN or any IP TV, anything is better than pay for an app that serves more ads than content. OUCH DID I FORGET TEH ADS? You pay premium to watch unskippale ads and ads during stream, loads of them, basically a double steal from profesisonal scammers. Abusive billing, unauthorised charges useless customer service
An absolutely terrible experience. Without any prior notice, they doubled my monthly fee. They are required to give advance notice before making any tariff changes after the first year, but they just went ahead and did it anyway. After I complained, I was assured they would keep my initial offer of €9.99, but when it came down to it, they still charged me double, taking €19.99 from my bank account.
The most frustrating part is the Customer Service support: I have been dealing with this claim for a month now, and I only receive automated, copy-paste responses. It is crystal clear that the agents don't even bother to read the request or check the ticket history.
An unacceptable lack of professionalism. I demand an immediate refund for the overcharged amount and the definitive reinstatement of my correct rate.

I signed up to DAZN to watch a single boxing match and believed I had cancelled my subscription not once, but twice. Months later, I discovered I had been charged €23.99 every month for eight months without realising.
The cancellation process is incredibly confusing. It feels as though it's designed to make you think you've unsubscribed when, technically, you haven't completed every required step. Whether intentional or not, the result is the same: customers continue being charged.
Pay very close attention if you decide to cancel. Double-check that you've received confirmation that your subscription has actually ended, and keep an eye on your bank statements afterwards.
My experience has left me feeling completely misled, and I won't be using DAZN again.

“The global home of conning” Third Review: DAZN Still Ignoring the Actual Complaint
This is my third review about the same issue. DAZN has now replied to both of my previous reviews with the exact same copy‑and‑paste message. That is the same loop I have already been stuck in for weeks.
For anyone reading this, here is the reality:
I have already contacted DAZN.
I have already contacted DAZN Bet.
I have already gone through their complaints process.
I have already provided evidence.
I have already escalated through Resolver.
I have already submitted a complaint to the ASA (reference A26‑1342945).
I have already opened a case with Citizens Advice / Trading Standards (reference CCA‑7978142).
Despite all of this, DAZN keeps replying publicly as if I have done none of the above. Their public responses do not match the actual situation and do not address the complaint.
My first review explained the issue.
My second review explained the issue again.
DAZN replied to both with the same generic message that sends me back to the same dead end.
At this point, DAZN’s public replies feel more like an attempt to look helpful rather than actually be helpful. They are ignoring the complaint, ignoring the evidence, and ignoring the regulators now involved.
My Resolver case file is public.
The ASA and Trading Standards have the full record.
DAZN still hasn’t answered the basic questions.
Consumers deserve better than template responses and endless loops.
