What a refreshing experience I’ve just had with this company this morning…in a world where many organisations just don’t care anymore….great communication, superb delivery drivers, items arrived early! Obviously a well oiled machine starting with great management and ending with an equally great delivery team! Will be my first port of call for all my online garden requirements from now on!..

The driver was very kind and helpful. The log shed arrived when scheduled.

Package arrived on day promised and in time schedule allocated. When they could not get hold of me they did not give up and leave , but constantly tried to find the house and to reach me in order to complete the delivery. They wasted an hour but did not give up and I was very grateful.

Recently received a delivery from DB Freelance - wooden bike store.
From the moment we placed our order we received constant updates on time and date our order would be delivered. On day of delivery we received it well packaged with no damages to report from a lovely, friendly driver who placed it exactly where we asked.
Top service, highly recommended this company.

Absolutely fantastic service from beginning to end. I was kept up to date with estimated arrival time leading up to the day of delivery all the way to them turning up at my door. Driver turned up at the back gate (which all companies used previously have not offered due to tricky access) and very kindly helped carry all items to where I needed them in the back garden. Faultless, professional, and super friendly delivery company. Would thoroughly recommend!

We had a summer House (kit) delivered, so a fair bit of stuff.

It arrived safely and we managed to get it all off the wagon with no trouble. The driver was friendly and helpful - and he managed to get a long wheelbase transit up our drive, bless him.

Kept us up to date with delivery day and a time slot. Delivery was earlier than expected, but we had time to arrange instructions. Very informative and quick to respond which is brilliant when your working.Very impressed with their service. Thank You 😊

DB FREELANCE delivered a wooden Arch Purchased from Rawlinsons of Nantwich. They contacted me the day before in order to ask if there would be any problem with the date. I pointed out that I had a Dental Appointment early PM. but that they could leave adjacent to the property if I was out. In actual fact, when I drew back the curtains around 7.45 AM , the delivery (to Cumbria) had already been made, and stacked in our rear Garden. I have to say that this was an excellent service with good communication and 'no ifs and buts'and thoughtfully carried out. I can thoroughly recommend this company. Brilliant !

Amazing delivery service!!! I had a shed delivered (ref SORGP25034833) but knew I wouldn't be in for the delivery, I emailed with a safe space and they came back within a couple of hours to confirm that would work. I got a time slot on the day and a call from the driver when he arrived just to confirm he was at the correct address and where my safe space was. Really lovely guy, delivered perfectly, I really appreciate the customer service and highly recommend this company.

I am not surprised to read all the positive reviews for DB Freelance. They delivered my bike store/shed today and I was absolutely delighted with the service.

The emails I received with my delivery slot were really accurate, which helped me plan my day. The driver Dave called me as he arrived, which meant I could show him how best to park on our country lane. He managed the large van brilliantly on our very narrow lane and didn't cause any obstruction to neighbours, which was much appreciated.
Dave was really friendly, helpful and professional, and carried the 4 items up to my path for me as requested.
Great service- highly recommended.

Just wanted to say that we were very pleased to receive our fence panels this evening and the chap (Norbert) who did the delivery was fantastic! Felt so sorry for him as his truck had broken down earlier in the day on one of the hottest days of the year; apparently recovery service didn’t get to him for several hours, putting him behind on all his deliveries. But he didn’t cancel or not arrive. He rang me to guide me as to the revised delivery time and was true to his word. Arrived exactly as quoted. Then when he got to us he was so friendly and helpful! He’s an asset to your company for sure.

I was kept fully informed of the despatch and delivery of my item. The “live” tracking was very helpful as we could monitor the changes in timeframe for the actual delivery. The driver was very polite and professional despite it being searingly hot and us being a later delivery in his schedule.

Very good communication from start to finish. Very responsive to emails too. The tracking system they use to show you the estimated delivery time is excellent. Constantly updating and very accurate. Also the actual delivery guy was great. Friendly, professional and a genuinely nice guy. Excellent service all round. Wish they delivered all my stuff!!

Delivery window given the day before but was able to track throughout window given. The driver called to confirm I was his next call and gave an exact time for arrival. He was so pleasant and professional and a credit to the business. Well done !

Excellent service.
Due to health issues I am unable to go to the shops as often as I would like to. I rely on courier, postal services to deliver items I ordered online to my home.
I have ongoing problems with providers many online services tend to use -Evri, formerly Hermes, and Royal Mail.
The main issues are/have been:
• Items delivered to the wrong address – and being advised to check with my neighbours (all 200 houses) when I query a missing delivery.
• Items left outside my door with NO ringing of bell or knock on the door – I am often home due to health issues. It has been difficult for me to bend down to pick up items left in the front of my property, on doorstep.
• No notification of when to expect delivery – I have just found parcels outside my door by accident, such as when I am going out for some reason or to put rubbish in bins.
Because of poor, no notification of deliveries items have been left for, sometimes, what looks like days in the rain, snow, heat, etc.
• Items have been damaged because couriers have thrown parcels over the side gate.
• I have repeatedly contacted couriers to explain my mobility difficulties and the need to let me know when to expect deliveries, how to divert them if I am away – to avoid risk of doorstep theft, damage by averse weather conditions, or opportunistic burglary because it is evident a parcel has not been removed for days. This has been going on for over 10 yrs with little to no noticeable difference, inconsistency in delivery practices.
It has been refreshing to have an order delivered by DB Freelance. (I have not heard of them before this delivery). This is how deliveries should be:
• Smart dressed, polite and courteous delivery person who rang the doorbell and waited for me to answer.
• Email notification and text (initial and reminder) to say item was on its way and time slot to expect it.
• Text and email confirmation of successful delivery +photographic evidence of delivery.

DB Freelance gave me a delivery timescale. I was very impressed with their communication. I wasn't going to be in so I said I would leave my gate open to my back garden. I asked if they would ask the driver to make sure it was closed after delivery. They said they would add it to the drivers instructions. The delivery was made. I had an email to say it had been delivered and the driver closed the gate. I was very happy with all aspects of the delivery.

Great communications. Delivery prompt Left in a safe place. What more could you ask for
