Should be forced into closing down.

Should be forced into closing down.

Under their guidance l wrote a letter 18th Feb 2026 to settle the issue in their favour. Despite being totally unaware of their claim against me.

It was my understanding they would have to prepare a Consent Order setting the judgement aside , basically removing the Register of Judgments , credit reference agencies.

Heard nothing.

Instead they continued with the action.

Completely against their assurances they would review my case before any further action.

Whilst l wait for a response they continue with actions, totally unethical and should be thrown out of any court.

I refer to the above judgment, which has recently come to my attention.

I understand proceedings were served at Rishworth Hunting Lodge, Rishworth, Sowerby Bridge, HX6 3SA. This address has never been my residence, and I did not receive the claim form or any prior correspondence. I was therefore denied the opportunity to respond before judgment was entered.

In light of the apparent defect in service, I reserve my right to apply to the court for the judgment to be set aside pursuant to CPR 13.2.

However, in order to resolve this matter swiftly and without further cost to either party, I am prepared to pay the full outstanding balance of £293.09 on the condition that you agree to a Consent Order setting aside the judgment and confirming that it will be removed from the Register of Judgments and all credit reference agencies.

Please confirm in writing that you will agree to a consent set aside and provide a draft Consent Order for signature. Upon receipt of confirmation, I will arrange immediate payment.

Explore options before using DCBL

I believe that when using debt recovery services, greater care and transparency are needed. In my experience, the process becomes ineffective as soon as a debtor claims vulnerability. While I understand that situations involving mental health or other vulnerabilities must be handled sensitively, it appears far too easy for such claims to halt enforcement entirely, with little clarity or support provided to the creditor.

I am not confident that staff are adequately trained to assess or manage these situations consistently. What often follows is a lack of progress, limited communication, and the responsibility falling back on me to chase updates or payments. Despite the fees involved, I have not seen the level of service or results that were initially suggested.

It is particularly disappointing to be told that recovery is possible, only for the process to stall, and then to be charged additional fees such as £75 for withdrawing the debt without any meaningful outcome.

Overall, I find the service lacking in effectiveness, accountability, and value for money. Based on my experience, I would not recommend it, and it appears that many other reviews reflect similar concerns this also concerned me.

This company is constantly harassing…

This company is constantly harassing me. I have submitted my case to the court over a year ago which the court have acknowledged and told me that DCB legal failed to submit their case before the deadline so it not going to court . But a year later I’m still getting 3 calls a day !! When I pick up I’m on hold for over 30mins or get cut off .. I didn’t park so
give me a court date or leave me alone !!

Absolutely disgraceful that this company is able to operate. They lie repeatedly. They send threatening letters and continuous phone calls. They prey on vulnerable people. How long before they tip somebody over the edge? I can believe the regulators actually aren’t doing anything. Someone somewhere needs to grow a pair!!

Wishes do come true.

May I say I hope you are happy with the way you deal with your business. I really couldn't be bothered with explaining everything but may I hope that all my wishes come true. Nice to see they have put up a response to get in touch, have tried so many times but just get a message that all agents are busy. Dont have the time to waste on these low life's, life is short and precious may all of yours be cut short.

1 star is very generous for this firm

1 star is very generous for this firm. They are aggressively chasing a parking ticket which "wasn't paid" when it actually was paid for and i was back within the time frame. A solicitor witnessed it being paid for as we parked together and went for food. The Landowner who subsequently cancelled the parking companies contract also said to ignore the debt as the machine there is notorious for issues and well known on a local forum. Despite all the evidence DCBL and its legal arm choose to ignore the disputes and didnt even looking into them and reverted to simply push for payment with its standard templates with the simple objective of frustrating the matter and using the court process to scare you into making a payment. However i am happy to go to court and fight people like this. I am also appalled at their conduct and will be looking at options via the SRA as there should be recourse on people who aggressively use the court process for bulk debt recovery while ignoring disputes behind it. You just need to look at on line reviews to really question how a regulator lets people like this behave in the way they do. DCBL and DCB Legal need to have a full investigation. I also did a FOI request for complaints against this firm with local authorities.

Horrible people

This people are arrogant, and very rude. The amount owned it's wrong, and they claim they are the interests. The interests are applied by the court on application, and if the case it's won, not before. Thieves with legal license

DISGUSTING - BULLYING COMPANY

Received a letter from DCP Legal stating that I had an outstanding PCN (in which I did not receive any PCN fine notifications prior to this), I tried to initially appeal with the car parking company, who refused the appeal giving no reason even when I requested proof of this offence. This PCN was then sold onto DCB legal, who have just be absolutely disgusting from the get go. They have filed a CCJ against me and used bully tactics - when I did not even park anywhere illegally in the first place. I have sent x6 emails all of which have been ignored by DCB legal, who continue to call me relentlessly every day, even though I have requested written communication only for my own sanity in written proof of all communication with this horrible company. They now want me to pay £309 for a parking fine that was initially £80.00 to cover their court fees in filing this CCJ - for an offence I did not do. DCB - you are the most utterly awful company with the most horrific employees who bully innocent people.

Despicable soulless outfit

On Friday 20th February I received a letter from this Company completely out of the blue. I did NOT get any ticket, PCN, notification or correspondence following the alleged offence. When I called them to discuss, they were abrupt, unsympathetic and showed no consideration for the circumstances. I am a Pensioner and as a result of their bully boy tactics forcing me to pay this charge I will now have no option but to leave my Heating off at a bad time of year as I can’t afford both. When I go to meet my maker I will do so with a clear conscience knowing I have done right all my life. I fail to understand how people who work in Companies such as this live with themselves and can sleep at night.

Scam company

Scammers work along with parking company trying to scam people. Stand your ground. Wanted £170 for car park fine that’s was only £70. Refused to pay debt court letters. I said I was willing to go to court and responded to court. They got back and said it was now £280 and will be even more if I go to court. They said I could pay £220 I said I’m only paying the original £70. They said can’t do that what’s the most you would go up to? I said £80. She said wait a minute I will call them. They accepted. I probably could have gone to court and won or they have dropped it. But couldn’t be bothered. The point is stand your ground

Received a legal letter for a parking…

Received a legal letter for a parking fine for a business. Addressed to the company and a director. Would not accept me calling them so I asked the director to authorise me which he did immediately. I called them back. A call centre based in Hamilton. Told the emails go to a different department and I would have to wait until the handler received the email to add me onto to their 'permissions to speak' on the file, What a complete waste of time. Whilst dealing with the director, he also confirmed to them the legal letter is the first he has received re any fine outstanding so their client's methods I have to question. Handler could not tell me how long ity would take to up the 'file'. No wonder its a 1* business on Trustpilot.

This company is a FRAUD

This company is a FRAUD. Still waiting for a reply on my complaint against their unprofessional practices. They sent me a £125 invoice for paying £1.50 to a private car park company, decision won in court. How can this be legal? I got totally ignored. How convenient. Is it no hope for justice in the UK anymore?

Illegal harassment

Illegal harassment, ringing us, having started legal proceedings, changed their story, putting the phone down on me when my questions got too awkward.
Reverted to their original nonsense, offering a lower settlement, why do that if you think your going to win in court?
See you in court, we will have a precedent entitling thousands of people to their money back.

I appreciate your response, but we are in contact with, and taking advice from others, who have endured the same, and made successful claims against DCBL and Euro Car Parks.

We are preparing a claim that could be in excess of 4 figures, over a claim where ECP have confirmed they have identified payment, and I have prepared a clear legal defence, yet despite your claims to be willing here to speak, you have made over 6 calls to us, offering reduced settlements, despite being told repeatedly, you keep insisting on payment, and have made no attempt to resolve your errors, even your MD Mr Eddie Harrison ran a mile and blocked me on LinkedIn.

There's no point trying to sound like your reasonable, and above board in your responses here, when you clearly are not.

Today is mediation day....... we wont be giving an inch.
