I still have not received the clock
I still have not received the clock. I need someone to talk to resolve this.
It's INSULTING to get a request for feedback when your own systems should KNOW that the tracking stopped once the clock left the UK, which begs another question. Why, if I order from within the EU, is the product shipped from the UK, which is no longer part of the EU?
I expected more from an ostensibly GERMAN company.

My package came from the UK. I'm based in The Netherlands, so I had to pay tax on top of my order. I will never buy from this website again if I know my order comes from the UK.

Braun Clocks DE Located in UK
Braun Clocks DE seems to be a German Shop but is in fact - not visible for the user - located in UK.
Means: additional customs duties for the client, which is marked nowhere, not even in the order confirmation.
To my email, which I send concerning this subject to Braun Clocks I never got any answer.
So, for people living in EU, calculate some additional fees on top.

Careful - costs not transparent - contact data doesn’t work
Real costs incl. taxes, customs and logistics fees were not made transparent. All email addresses provided didn’t work, but were returned as no deliverable few days later.

Given the use of ‘de’ in the weblink for this company, and given I was charged the euros and given the request now to give feedback in German…. imagine my surprise that my clock was shipped from UK and so I was charged extra VAT. I found this devious.

Brexit clock: add VAT and customs to price
German brand Braun is sent from ... the UK, formerly part of EU. Because of Brexit, you first get a VAT and customs handling bill of 16% of purchase price. The clocks are nice but already pricy.
