I’m extremely disappointed with my recent experience using Deliveroo. As a premium member who orders daily, I expect a certain level of care and professionalism in both delivery and customer support. Unfortunately, my latest order was left on the floor next to the garbage room, an unacceptable and unhygienic location, especially for food delivery. I’m on the ground floor, so it would have been easy for the driver to notify me directly, rather than placing my order in such an inappropriate spot.
This isn’t the first time I’ve encountered similar issues, and it’s very frustrating. To make things worse, when I reached out to customer service, I was met with indifference. They were unwilling to offer a refund or even an apology, leaving me feeling completely undervalued as a loyal customer.

One of the items in my order was missing upon delivery. When I reached out to your customer care team, I was shocked by their response—they refused to take my complaint, dismissed my concerns, and told me I could only file a complaint via email. They claimed this was due to a new policy preventing refunds for undelivered items. I sent the email with necessary pictures but the response was the same. However I contacted the store directly and they checked the cc tv cameras and accepted thier mistake and delivered the missed item after 1 day. But Deliveroo never accepted thier mistake and continued with thier denial.
This kind of treatment is unacceptable, especially from a reputable company like Deliveroo. It damages your credibility and shows a lack of commitment to customer satisfaction. Because of this experience, I have decided to stop ordering from Deliveroo altogether…
blocking my account
Wrong deliveries, I paid for the membership fee and the the order won't go thru, as they blocked by account and never returned the money back.
When you try to contact them , they say we will report it to the higher team, they reply back that they suspended my account for placing orders for potentially hazardous items in bulk quantities, I am not aware they are selling any hazardous items.
I don't recommend this service to anyone

Today has been a complete disaster from Deliveroo. They have wasted 1 1/2 hours of our valuable time making ridiculous excuses why our order has not been delivered.
Each time the operator would put me on hold for long lengths of time or cut me off ..
What makes matters worse, each person who speaks on the phone pretends to be a manager.
I could not begin to explain how many excuses and how bad the experience has been.
Well done Deliveroo for such bad service.

This service is outrageous , they delivered to wrong address, deliveryboy refused to bring to correct address and told me to contact deliveroo. Contact center promised me to refund , but after couple of days , they just refused refunding.

Customer support is terrible
Has not received an order the first time- the first person told me that there would be a refund, the second person have told that there would be no refund. After pointing out at the conflicting information I was getting from 2 different employees they’ve made a decision to return money. And AFTER it the payment for my account was not working, that’s why I have contacted the support again to find out why am I am having failures at payment. They were redirecting me to several different persons with no clear answer at all.
After complaining again that nothing was fixed and nothing have been resolved, I have received the following email from Edwin ( Deliveroo Dubai):
“Deliveroo monitors user activity and reserves the right to deactivate accounts found to breach our terms of services. This includes applying for refunds or credit to which we do not consider you are entitled, making repeated unreasonable complaints, mistreating our staff or riders, placing orders for potentially hazardous items in bulk quantities, or any other good reason). Based on your activity, we will be suspending your Deliveroo customer account immediately and it will no longer be possible to order with us. We will not be responding to any further correspondence related to this matter”.
Even though they have decided to return money and have not even explained why the payment has not worked. So do not recommend

Very bad service. They don't keep their word. The app showed that my order will arrive in an hour, so I ordered. After waiting for more than two hours and a half, I called to cancel the order and refund my money. They blamed the seller and refused to cancel and refund as all respected apps would do. As a customer, I don't care who is responsible; you showed faulty information and you are either deceiving people or helping deceive people and steal their money.
No delivery > no compensation !
I would rate 0, not 1 ! My order did not arrive but they said it was delivered without any evidence, of course ! Many mails exchanged, they recognised the recepient did not receive the order ... but write there will be no re-delivery or refund ! Horrible !!!

I’m extremely upset with my recent experience using Deliveroo. I ordered from Fix Dessert Chocolate for a family celebration, and after waiting over an hour, my order was suddenly cancelled without any notice. I only received a call to apologize after the fact, which did nothing to ease my frustration.
This lack of communication ruined our special occasion, and to make matters worse, my payment still hasn’t been refunded. The whole situation has caused me a lot of distress, and I feel let down by the service. I really hope this gets resolved quickly, as I’m considering sharing my experience more widely if it isn’t addressed.

This app is not deserving even 1 star… I have tried to place an order from them 5 times in a different time of a day! I have my bank card which I am using daily and all is ok with the payment, but from them they are giving me an error! So disappointed and deleted the app, I have placed same order from Instaahop.
