Maria was a delight

Maria! She made my experience great! I usually have my wife with me. She was unavailable. So, I had my mom with me. I was not comfortable. Maria was warm and comforting. She put me at ease. She was very knowledgeable and quick. I didn't have to wait for secondary or tertiary items. By the end of my visit, I was saddened it was over.
This store is almost 3 hours from my home. I will definitely be back.

The PERFECT place for a big guy

Christopher was great and was a huge help! Greeted me when I came in and helped guide me through my whole experience. Helped wet me up with a fitting room and I was so pleased to finally try on clothes that fit right the first time. Im normally so apprehensive about clothes shopping but this place feels like it was made for someone like me. Very comfortable experience and will be back soon!

Scott was fantastic

Scott was fantastic. He made me feel very comfortable, was very knowledgeable and helpful. The story was nicely merchandised. I would definitely recommend DXL and Scott to a friend.

Jeans and t shirt are great; belt not so much


Hello ~ we purchased jeans, t shirt and a belt (on separate receipt). Jeans and tshirt are great but belt fastener broke right away. We will be returning the belt.

We shopped at the Commerce store

We shopped at the Commerce store - I think the employees name was Angela & she is wonderful. She was very understanding of physical limitations & is an amazing employee. We have had her help before & were so relieved she was there.

The woman I believe who was the manager…

The woman I believe who was the manager was not friendly at all! My wife and I received a lukewarm greeting even though we were the only ones in the store. We never got asked if we needed help looking for anything. After approximately 8 minutes or so in the store another couple walked in who received a far warmer welcome than we did and was even asked if the needed help finding anything. Spending this kind of money you would expect you employees let alone a potential store manager be welcoming. I definitely will never go back to that store again if it’s the only store that has what I need.

Nate was very helpful

Nate was very helpful. I appreciated his guidance during the purchase process and services offered. The FIT MAP service is pretty good. I drive from Chicago all the way here because of the store staff is awesome.

Robert did a great job

My business was conducted at the Marion Iowa location. Robert did a great job and everything went smoothly. It was refreshing to deal with someone who knows what they are doing in this day and age of ineptitude everywhere else!

Top notch customer service

The sales associate that helped me was great. Knowledgeable, friendly, and very familiar with all the products. The body scan was a nice touch as I have lost alot of weight.

came in for a return

came in for a return. wasn't acknowledged until I was in the store several mins. I went back to look for oak hill pants, several pairs of pants were on the floor. I looked over in the sale area, it was even worse. I've shopped at this DXL location for several years & have never seen the store anywhere near this condition. Ultimately, I returned the item I came in with & left with no replacements, as I had planned. I wasn't going to search the floor for the size I needed. The last time I was in, I actually hung up 5-6 pairs of pants that had fallen on the floor, but today's experience was much worse. Being the only customer in the store & with two employees behind the counter who could clearly see me, I decided not to do their job. I don't know if the store was actually dirty or simply a huge mess, whatever it was, I won't be purchasing clothing off the floor. When I went up to the counter for the return the staff continued their conversation, which was store related. Again, not the customer service that has been the DXL standard for years. There is no way I would recommend this location to anyone without massive changes.
