Absolutely awful experience.

If I could rate this company less than 1* I would. They are without a shadow of a doubt, the WORST company I have every dealt with. We ordered a mosaic table and 4 chairs. They sent the wrong chairs so the order was mismatched. After many attempts to contact them about this (by email and through our account) I gave up and decided I would have to live with the mismatched furniture. One of the chairs had arrived damaged but I just had to get over this because there they wouldn't respond to my emails. On first use another of the chairs broke and the whole set rusted within a month.
After about 3 months, I heard back from DeubaXXL! Wanting me to return the set! So once we got around the issue of me having recycled the packaging, off went the table and chairs back to Germany. Things were looking up!
However, I have just chased the refund this morning and they have no record of receiving the furniture into the warehouse. Thank god for DPD tracking :-) Will I ever see my money back? I'm not too optimistic.
What a bunch of unscrupulous rogues. Do not waste your money or your precious time with this company. Spend a bit more and buy something decent that ships from the UK.

Looking to buy from Deuba? Read this first!

I’d been looking for garden furniture, and saw a Deuba Facebook advert with modular garden furniture.
It’s a long read, but a factual representation of my experience.
27/06/20 Place order for Rattan Sofa XL
30/06/20 Notified of tracking numbers, 5 separate deliveries
02/07/20 Receive invoice and details of how to access Deuba Service Portal.
I access the portal where I find assembly instructions and details of how to order spare parts.
04/07/20 Receive 4 parcels (each the size of a washing machine). I begin opening the boxes to check the contents. I find assembly material and instructions for the Rattan Sofa Medium, not XL, it seem that the XL is comprised of the medium plus additional pieces. Content I can order spares and that all the pieces are the for the Medium set, I begin building. Also, it’s going to rain soon and I can’t store all the boxes inside.
06/07/20 Receive final parcel
07/07/20 Building the final piece of the Medium set, I find a faulty screw and nut, also one of the main pieces of the chair is faulty - result is that the chair is not built securely.
08/07/20 I check the contents of the final 2 boxes (XL set components). It’s missing the feet, all assembly screws and nuts, and the connectors to secure the pieces to each other.
09/07/20 I visit the portal, add details with item numbers for all the faulty and missing parts and provide photos. Portal says there’s no spares! No contact details on the website or portal. No option to select something like “my question isn’t answered”, no way to ask Deuba to contact me. Options offered are refund or partial refund. This makes no sense, Deuba has been selling these items for a long time and on various websites, surely they can provide spares? I begin the refund option to see how it works, I’d have to dismantle, package the items (boxes are warped from the rain) and take them to a DPD depo. I’d need a van! They’d taken me hours to build and now they’ll take hours to dismantle!
I reply to the return email I received explaining I can’t get spares from the portal, can’t get the items in my car to return and asking them to call me. I also find an email address for the online and email that.
10/07/20 receive a reply saying due to Covid there may be delays with support
I email again for them to call me. I search the internet for info and see a deluge of complaints, poor customer reviews, people waiting months for refunds, reports of people to wait 10 days and then a further 10 days until the 30 day return period runs out, people sending 37 emails! I can’t find a contact number anywhere.
11/07/20 I post publicly on Facebook and follow up with a private message. They reply and will look into it.
14/07/08 I receive an email saying the parts I need will be sent out, delivery time is 10 days due to the pandemic.
15/07/20 I receive an email in another thread saying the items are being sent.
17/07/20 Facebook private message says I’ll get the requested parts within 3-6 business days
28/07/20 send a private message saying no tracking number yet. I send and email saying it’s been 14 days, no tracking number and asking exactly which parts are being sent. In have a feeling I’ve waited all this time and won’t get all the parts required.
30/07/20 They replied to my email, but said the “complete assembly material” was being sent and that there are currently delays due to Covid. They replied to my private message telling me to let them know if the delivery doesn’t arrive by the 9th of August. I ask exactly which parts are being sent.
I send another email asking in block caps EXACTLY what was being sent.
31/07/20 tracking number arrives
04/08/20 I receive an email saying “we have sent you all the assembly material”
05/08/20 parcel arrives. It’s only the assembly screws and nuts for the XL set. I’m still missing the faulty screws, chair part, the feet and the connecting clips.
I email explaining my questions weren’t answered, and if they’d just called me in the beginning when I’d asked, we might have been able to sort this out. I remind them I specified exactly what was required via the portal and sent pictures. I ask them to rectify and confirm:
1. EXACTLY what is being ordered
2. When it will be despatched
3. What they are going to do to turn my terrible customer experience into a good one
6 weeks in, the furniture is still not useable, I’m still storing 2 washing machine sized boxes, summer’s nearly over.
14/08/20 more spare parts arrived. Still missing the parts to connect the chairs together, but all the other spares have arrived.
I’m defeated, I’ve no energy left to chase this any further. The product is now usable, although summer’s over here. No gesture provided or effort made to turn my experience into a positive one.
Deuba have reported 20 reviews which don’t meet Guidelines, the reviews have been hidden.

SANDPIT PURCHASE - A MISTAKE!!!

I ordered a sandpit in Spring for my grandson's 5th birthday. Within a few days of erecting it the wooden spar supporting the blue plastic roof snapped. Then the side panel split. The sandpit is therefore no longer safe to use. It was definitely not fit for purpose. Since then I have been trying to contact the company. I have sent them two lots of photographs with no response. £80 thrown away and a heartbroken 5 year old. DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THIS COMPANY!!!

I am at a loss how this company is…

I am at a loss how this company is getting 84% 5 star reviews. The quality of the garden chair cushions we ordered are disappointing and will not last the summer. We chose to return them only to be told to send them back to Germany at our cost and not back to Hatfield where they came from. What a great ploy to put you off as who is going to send a 7.3kg parcel to Germany and foot the bill. UK website states customer service is key to their success. It doesn't exist. No phone number to call or to contact. Lesson learnt. I WOULD ADVISE YOU DO NOT USE!!

I would not recommend buying from this…

I would not recommend buying from this company.

I ordered a dog kennel, which didn’t arrive once saying it had been delivered. They then sent me a replacement which arrived completely broken. I am now being refused a refund. Really disappointing service.

Good experience... surprisingly.

Despite the overwhelming negative reviews here (which I stupidly did not check before ordering) my purchase of the New York coffee table was entirely problem free. Delivered within 48 hours, packaging was excellent and all the required parts were included. I am not saying this company is trustworthy, I am simply trying to say that not every purchase from this company is bad.

I do of course hope that I don’t need to contact their customer service team for any reason.

Excellent service: just wish they offered a wider range

We found deubaxxl after searching online for firms that offered a particular range of polyrattan garden furniture. While we weren't familiar with the company, reviews were good, the website easy to use and the price was substantially less than other suppliers. Not only did deubaxxl keep its delivery promise, we were kept informed at every stage.
We also owe the company a little apology. The 20-plus piece set was a special birthday gift for our daughter. Delighted with the furniture, she had gone through all the boxes and couldn't find the screws. So we went through the deubaxxl customer service process. A week or so later an extra pack of screws arrived. By then she had looked properly and found the screws. Sorry deubaxxl!
After this great experience we went back to the website to see if there was anything else we needed. Quite surprised how small and quirky the range is. More products please and we'd be happy to buy more.

Sunlonugers

ordered sunloungers half came the other half never turned up. No response to any emails sent the half order back after 3 weeks im still chasing the refund. This has been ongoing since I ordered in june. I will be contscting trading standards disgusting customer service.

Incompatible Garden Storage - No Meaningful Seller Help for Returns

I ordered a garden storage box for outdoor chair cushions and the cushions themselves through ManoMano, which were both supplied by Deuba.
Items arrived, the storage box with some very minor damage, but the main issue is that storage box was far smaller than the cushions. Therefore the items are not useable together and we would have a storage unit that could not be used to store things.
This meets the "incompatible" category that goods can be returned for.
Have been trying over many weeks now to get some meaningful information and help from both ManoMano and Deuba but the advice they are giving is very, very poor (e.g. advised to contact the courier who delivered the items & arrange the return. I contacted Yodel and they said that Deuba need to arrange this).
All we have is a back and forth of emails, essentially saying the same thing.
Unfortunately I believe my next step seems to be to raise a Consumer complaint to the Visa organisation and ask if they can help with this appalling customer service (an odd phrase in this case given the use of the words "customer" and "service", neither of which seems to apply with ManoMano and Deuba in this situation).

table and chairs for garden

Ordered table and chairs for garden. Chairs are great, delivery good, but table designed by an idiot. Poorly engineered, some bolts just don't fit and the glass top is supported by plastic grommets - not all of which were there. Customer services totally useless - don't reply to e-mails. Poor company to do business with.

Surprisingly good service

I bought a sunbed that broke within 20 minutes of first using it. I saw these reviews and was very worried I’d lost my money! I complained and was asked to return it (this was also free of charge). I did so and had a refund in my account a couple of days later. So my customer service experience was actually (and unexpectedly) very good.

Absolute joke i still have faulty furniture 4 months after ordering . They offered me a refund that was 50% off the full price for something i can not use . After 4 months i agreed i thought it was at least something because they had ignored my e-mails for months and i thought this was all i was going to ever get off them . But i never even received the refund
AVOID THIS COMPANY THEY WILL RIP YOU OFF

Bought a foldable wooden beer bench/table set and no issues at all

After reading recent reviews decided to take a gamble and ordered a foldable wooden beer bench/table set and was delivered in under a week from Germany by DPD. Kept informed at all stages from ordering, postage and delivery. Came in 2 boxes with 2 shipping numbers but delivered at the same time (was worried as people mention packages arriving on different days). Not sure why different people are having such different experiences. Mine has been great so would recommend. I would pay with PayPal as someone else has mentioned as their problem resolution seems to be simpler.

Shockingly bad quality

Bought a garden swing and polycarb greenhouse, the greenhouse panels came out on the first night due to a little wind ( not overly windy a day and it is after all built to be outside!), the swing had rust on the metal frame within a week.

Clearly neither product will be lasting the year out, actually making them very expensive, very environmentally UNfriendly and a waste of time. absolutely shocking quality and when emailed them regarding issues, no responses as yet!

We shall see.

Terrible customer service

Terrible customer service. Product arrived with missing fittings, feet and instructions - had one email response after 14 days telling me they would be sent in 10 days nothing since and over 2 weeks later! No customer service at all just keep getting standard ‘everything is delayed due to Covid’ how many times can they use this excuse! Do not buy

Poor Customer service

Ordered sun bed and cushion. Sun bed delivered and great. Not received the cushion. Our credit card has been charged for both. Tried contacting without luck. Bank are now raising dispute. I would not recommend buying from this Company, way too difficult to contact if there are issues

PAY BY PAYPAL, RAISE A DISPUTE AND GET YOUR MONEY BACK!!

Honestly wish I’d looked on here before I ordered a trike for my daughters birthday! Looked amazing in the photos, it got here and we were missing nuts and bolts, the tyres were put on the wrong way around, bits didn’t fit and the trike didn’t steer. Total tat! Really disappointed. Sent multiple emails to the company with no reply however id paid via PayPal! Open a dispute on there and within 48 hours I had a reply asking for the details for DPD to collect the package. DPD collected and I escalated again to PayPal to refund my money. My advice is DO NOT PAY BY CARD! USE PAYPAL that way you stand a hope of getting your money back.
