There were many different options to choose from which meant I could tailor it specifically to the recipient.

The cream tea hamper I bought for a friend who was coming the weekend of Mothering Sunday. The scones were delicious and the jam was lovely. You could tell it was homemade and didn't taste at all like a supermarket jam. The friend commented on the ingredients, short and didn't include lots preservatives. The same friend is coming again nearer to her birthday and I'm going to order the same hamper again.

I would prefer to not give any stars.
On Wednesday 18th March after reading the reviews and feeling confident of the next day delivery statement, I ordered, before the cut off time, (1.00pm)a cream tea as a thank you for my neighbour who I knew would be at home the following day. When the parcel had still not arrived on Thursday evening I checked DHL delivery where it showed at 09.09 on 19th March my parcel was already delayed until the next day. On 20th March I received a DHL notification telling me my parcel would be delivered on Thursday 19th, the day before! I explained to my neighbour what I had tried to do and about the DHL mix up and as a result she refused the parcel when it arrived at just after 10.00 on Friday saying that she did not feel confident of where the fresh cream had been since Wednesday! I contacted Devon Heaven early on Friday 20th sending them copies of DHL communications and heard nothing until Monday when I received a reply from Nash. He basically told me that I should have read the FAQs where it states parcels could delayed. He showed no interest in the mix up from DHL. When I requested a refund all I received was the link to Devon Heaven FAQs.
There has been no refund and in my experience I would not recommend Devon Heaven to anybody.

Easy to order, delivered on time, excellent quality scones, cream and jam and beautifully presented. Makes a wonderful gift at any time of the year. I cannot fault this service!

I bought the hamper for my elderly Godmother who was in hospital as a treat as she was over 130 miles away. I contacted Devon Heaven to check that they were happy to deliver to a hospital. A prompt reply and a yes, I went ahead and ordered. It arrived the next day as a surprise and she absolutely loved the hamper. Thank you for your excellent service

Delivered on time and well packaged. A very happy 85 year old mum who thoroughly enjoyed sharing them with her sister.

I had a problem with my order as I thought I had bought a voucher but realised when order was confirmed that the actual order was being delivered on a certain day . This was soon rectified but there was no easy way to order a voucher so that my friend could have his afternoon tea on a date convenient to him. The voucher was great as he had another 2 afternoon teas on his actual birthday.

Easy ordering, prompt delivery dates. I ordered two lots in a week to different addresses. Both delivered on time and warmly received. Both said "the perfect gift". Soo tasty and excellent quality. I live in Devon now so it's lovely to send a part of Devon Heaven to family and friends. Thank you

I ordered a cream tea hamper for my 86 old mother who is from Devon and loves cream teas. The hamper arrived but all the scones tasted of as bicarbonate of soda. Clearly to max out shelf life but made them awful to taste. I raised a complaint and they offered me 10% of the next purchase. The same thing they included in the hamper. Avoid if you want something of quality.

Placing the order and paying for it was very straight forward, the order arrived on the agreed date, it was in excellent condition and the goods were fresh. My first experience was as a recipient and I was very impressed, so now I have become a user of the service, it provides a good choice of items, they are nicely packaged and make an excellent little gift. This order resulted in the recipient and his friends having an impromptu tea party for his 92nd birthday, so they also create a create social get together. I will be continuing to use the service. I have sent a few hampers to people as gifts and they have all been beautifully packed with great tasting products. All recipients have been so happy to receive and enjoy them. As a Devon resident it's a joy to be able to send a little piece of Devon Heaven to those who live elsewhere in the country.

My Mum received the hamper as a 90th Birthday gift.
The package looked nice but we were very disappointed with both the plain and sultana scones. They were dry, dense and more of a cake texture than a scone.

OUTSTANDING… I always go to Devon Heaven for treats/ presents for my friends and family, they absolutely love the hampers, never disappointed. The range of choice to choose from is brilliant, the scones etc are so fresh and very delicious. The whole experience from ordering to delivery is so simple and easy to navigate and very reasonably priced. You get constant updates from ordering to delivery. Can’t recommend them enough, will continue to order from them. If you want excellent service and value for money, you definitely can’t go wrong with Devon Heaven.

Very disappointed in this hamper which was a gift for mothers day. The box it was delivered in was torn open and damaged with the contents inside strewn all over the place. The cream was dented and opened making it inedible, whilst the company reimbursed me for the cream I felt it was below standard for the price. The scones weren't very big and we're quite stale and the strawberry preserve not very nice. I think it's very expensive for what it is and have had better elsewhere.

The items were really lovely and so fresh. But the delivery was a bit mixed up , it wasnt received on the day it was meant for but turned up the next day just left on the door step. But your items can not be faulted.6ij

I bought the afternoon tea hamper for my neighbours 80th birthday present. It was a perfect gift for someone that can’t go far and enjoy going out for their birthday. She said it was a beauty and special present that she really enjoyed.

Appalling, not able to speak to anyone when a delivery goes wrong- paid a premium for Saturday delivery and it is due to arrive on Monday!

A cream tea that has been in the postal system for 4 days, can’t wait!!!!

Bought as a gift for a friend. She says everything about it was 1st class, the scones and strawberry jam were beautiful with a generous amount of cream, and she loved the truffles. Communication regarding delivery was excellent. I will certainly be ordering again
