Was having trouble making sure my alarms were going off on my new phone. They had no idea how to fix it and didn't care. I had a really bad scare one night and if it was a true reading, I would of been in the hospital. Customer service is useless. My cell phone guy actually was more of a help then these people

Terrible Customer Service

They're Customer service is terrible. I called in regards to two out of three of my sensors were not working probably. They were very rude and combative. I could barely explain my issue without being cut off and treated like I was lying. They need to train their staff and stop sending the calls over seas.

Use a different cgm

They have the most unreliable senors. They may be for 7 days but you only get 3 days of use out of most of them. Even though they replace them the process for getting replacements is a pain to go through constantly. The worst part is the sensors don't fall off they just fail. They are a terrible product that barely functions enough to use.

Phone incompatible

I checked the website to make sure my phone was compatible with the app, ordered the sensor, when it arrived the app wouldn't work and said its not compatible with my phone. I emailed them to let them know their website informs me I can use the app but they said ' its due to the software, thanks for my understanding'. I absolutely do not understand. I checked and it said it was compatible and it turns out it isnt. My phone is up to date and they did not help me. Wasted my money with them and will not order from them again.

What an awful product

I have been using a G7 since it came out because Dexcom has engineered a deal with my insurance company. That is all they have ever successfully engineered. When the sensor doesn't fail entirely the readings are often incorrect and misleading, making any decision making based on those readings inaccurate. The G7 app is useless and incompetently designed. Data is difficult to use for the end user and the entire point of the thing seems to be a paternalistic design to lock their alarms so that the damn thing goes off all day long with unimportant items like 24 hours left on the sensor or some other useless nonsense. The UI does not permit the end user to even edit their own alarms. This "most accurate monitor on the market" is also nonsense. I imagine it must have been expensive for Dexcom to manipulate those study outcomes.

Terrible customer service

Terrible customer service. I have had more than a few problems with dexcom. G7. The sensor was reading low so I check my blood sugar on the meter and the readings did not match at all. I called for a replacement and an order was placed, timeline provided end of call. The weather bad so I expect delays. I called back today to check on the order status and a very rude obnoxious jnow it all non American who would not listen at all but just kept trying to tell me the order was submitted for a review and denied because I was lying because I had on the sensor. At first I could not understand. I was so confused. Then I had to tell the ignored rude obnoxious agent to listen to that call and to just forget it. The product was faulty and they were upset.

Do not waste money on the Dexcom 7

Do not waste money on the Dexcom 7.
1. I had issues with bluetooth connectivity ( either unable to pair or getting error message: unable to read from sensor). Most of the times, I tried on 2 or 3 new Dexcom 7 and got one that worked.
2. Inconsistent results, I had to use the glucose strips to test and to re-calibrate, still got unaccurate results.

3 g7 failed one after the other

3 g7 failed one after the other, I'm on the closed loop system each sensor kept reading my sugar levels as low, stopping my insulin delivery when the finger prick was 10.4 kept calibrating had to take off due to sending my sugars excessively high on all 3 occasions they were from the same batch number usually they are fine but left with no sensors has had an adverse effect of my control in a bad way so thanks dexcom 🙄 waiting on all 3 sensors to be replaced also another problem with the g7s is that the little sensor wire loves to pop out the hole when applying if you know you know so annoying

I ordered the free trial and had no issues at all. The ordering process was easy, and the sensor readings have been accurate so far. The app is straightforward to use and works smoothly with no problems whatsoever. Overall, a very good experience.

H HORRIBLE PRODUCT AND HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE

We are so sorry we did not read the Trustpilot reviews before ordering this. The instructions were absolutely unhelpful and there was no way we were able to even begin using this. We boxed it up without using it, but of course there are no returns. Then we canceled our subscription, but of course it was for a year. So they just got another $40 out of us on top of the purchase price for the device that doesn’t even come close to being user-friendly. Steer clear and beware. Because it was associated with oura we thought we could trust in this product. We were so wrong.

I cannot recommend

Stelo Support is nonexistent. This is the killer. Extremely difficult to cancel subscription, which I never intended to sign up for. Multiple problems trying to log in and find the "subscriptions tab". No telephone helpline. Help bot, or whatever it's called, has no result for "stop subscription". The subscription must've been in the very small print because I didn't want to buy one, just thought I was getting a 3 month order for $252. Even the email telling me about the next order was confusing.
The performance of the glucose monitor was spotty. Sometimes it seemed to work well, but at other times it was all over the place. I didn’t know what to believe. When my glucose peaks weren’t so high I wanted to believe THAT was when it was functioning well, but this is highly subjective. But again, the real deal-killer is that I could not get a real human to help with me. The wording on the reorder message was so unclear, that I didn’t know whether I cancelled a Monitor I had paid for, or cancelled a new order for $252.

Dexcom Robbed Me of $65.00

This has nothing to do with the appliance which I have no issues with. I submitted an online request for help via their chatbot. All I wanted was some replacement adhesive material since I had ruined 1 or 2 during use. The bot asked me to wait for a call back from another line - and they did call me, but the call was from Answer and was a person. The guy recognized that I just had to go to the Dexcom website to request the adhesive, but had to charge me $65 because they had answered my call. The rep from Dexcom did NOT tell me they were sending me to a service that would charge me!

Useless.

Used G6 for 4 full days. At no time the readings were accurate as compared to the glucose strips. Completely far off. After 4 days I removed and disposed the device. Huge waste of money.

Long-term user: G6 was more reliable, G7 is faster but has issues

I’ve been using Dexcom CGMs for many years as someone with long-term Type 1 diabetes. I’ve used both the G6 and now the G7, so this is coming from extended real-world use, not just a short trial.

Overall, Dexcom’s system is extremely important for daily diabetes management and it has helped me avoid dangerous highs and lows. The accuracy is generally very good and the data is incredibly useful.

That said, I honestly felt the G6 was more reliable from a hardware standpoint. The adhesive on the G7 doesn’t hold as well for me, and I’ve had more sensors fail or need replacement compared to my experience with the G6. Dexcom’s support usually replaces faulty sensors, but it still creates interruptions in use.

On the positive side, the G7’s warm-up time is much better and the smaller size is more comfortable. When it works properly, it’s a big improvement in convenience.

Dexcom is still one of the best CGM systems available, but I hope they continue improving G7 sensor quality and adhesive so it matches the reliability of the older G6.

DEXCOM is having a LOW

Customer service is at its worst. Been using DEXCOM products for nearly 20 years. When the company first started their call centers were based in the United States with representatives that were also DEXCOM users. Great customer support that handled the problem quickly with little if any frustration. Now is painful to deal with the over seas customer services can’t wait for an alternative product to become available. And on another note I was such a supporter of there product and company that I bout stock in their company…….. Big mistake look at their stock value now . I feel it’s a reflection of poor management and poor customer care. Sorry DEXCOM but you suck and even employees that work in your California location agree.

Unacceptable company communication

My girlfriend is type one diabetic using an older iPhone 5s to connect with the dexcom
G6 app as she does not have the money too spend on brand new models and android compatibly y is inconsistent and in the middle of the night suddenly the app decided it is no longer compatible after saying a few days before this phone MAY not be compatible this is not a reasonable warning and if I had not been able to buy her. Newer phone she would no longer be able to use the dexecom this is not acceptable when dealing with a device people rely on for their health and safety with a lifelong condition which now requires the use of another dexcom to connect too the new phone wasting the one previous

The Decom one sensor is a poor user experience.

The Decom one sensor is not something I will be using again. The user experience is extremely poor. The sensor is both difficult and painful to remove. The worst aspect is the inability to turn off notifications in the app when a sensor expires. The app sends notifications every 10 minutes until you replace the sensor. Thank you, Dexcom, but I’ll decide whether and when I want to replace the sensor. Goodbye.
