I would highly recommend Different Snow. They put together a Christmas holiday for 7 of us at fairly short notice. The holiday was well organised, the suggestions were excellent and everything worked like a dream. We had a great holiday and were extremely grateful.

We had a fantastic - trip of a lifetime - holiday to Japan in December 2018. Nick presented us with an excellent itinerary to suit our family budget and accommodated specific requests. We had a whistlestop tour of Tokyo followed by great powder skiing in Hakuba then a cultural exploration of Kyoto. A fascinating and rewarding trip!

We used Different Snow to book our month long honeymoon around Japan. The detail provided was exceptional and we would have struggled without the itinerary provided. They were accurate right down to which train platform to be on.

Late last summer we decided on a family ski trip to Japan. It was late notice really but we thought it worth a try. Different Snow somehow managed to put together a great package - 4 nights in Hakuba One and 3 nights at the Arai resort, with two nights in Tokyo tacked onto the end. The hotel in Hakuba was, as warned by DS, fairly basic but the staff could not have been more helpful and friendly. Snow in Hakuba wasn't great but it was not a great season. However, the Arai resort was superb in all aspects. Hotel, staff, snow, were terrific. DS organised all transfers, and provided a brilliant itinerary. We would thoroughly recommend them.

I can’t rate Different Snow highly enough. Nick not only put together a well thought out and carefully researched tailored three week trip for our group which combined sightseeing in Tokyo, Kyoto and Fukuoka with a week’s skiing in the Japanese Alps, but also helped us from afar when one of our number suffered a disabling injury early on in the trip. At every turn he helped us negotiate the difficulties we faced with accommodation, transport and access for our injured colleague so that we could continue to enjoy our trip as a party with minimal disruption.

Different Snow’s guidance notes and travellers’ aid pack were comprehensive and really well thought out. Their recommendations for hotels, sightseeing, entertainment and dining were spot on.

Different snow planned my once in a lifetime trip to japan they where fantastic i travelled to niseko kyoto nozawa onsen and tokyo they booked every flight train journey hotel and excursion the itinerary was the most detailed itinerary i have ever seen they even included things that they had found while living in japan that would not be in the tourist guide books . They kept in contact with me every step of the way i will definitely use them again. I cannot recommend them highly enough.

Nick created an itinerary for us that met all of our objectives. He provided full, detailed itinerary instructions for us to make the challenge of getting from A to B very easy in Japan. His helpful guides smooth the way around Japan and he was willing and keen to share his extensive knowledge of Japan with his customers. He gave us tips regarding places to visit and things to do to enhance our visit, such as the Kenrokuen gardens in Kanazawa. We would definitely recommend Nick at Different Snow to help you plan a trip to Japan.

We are about to take our third trip to Japan organised by Nick which says it all. He is always meticulous in preparation and so knowledgable with suggestions and recommendations. The itinerary and planning has always been faultless and we have had the best times travelling stress-free. I would 100% recommend Different Snow to anyone considering travelling to Japan either to ski or just to explore.

We couldn't have wished for a better itinerary and fantastically organized trip. And Nick was brilliant and available 24 hours a day when we needed to be repatriated due to injury.

Different Snow organised a tailor made 2 week holiday in Japan for my wife and I . Visiting the snow monkeys ,we had a ride on the bullet train and a short stay in Tokyo .10 days Skiing in Hakuba / Arai both amazing resorts and plenty of snow .Excellent hotels, all transfers etc and even arranged last minute changes to our Itinerary at our request that were dealt with happily and efficiently, nothing was too much trouble for Nick .

Wonderful experience from start to finish. Different Snow help you along every step of the way during the planning to ensure you have a stress free holiday. The binder they send you is like your Bible when you are out there. It has everything in you will need, from hotel addresses to train times, to advice about what to do whilst you're there. Trust the binder! Definitely will be using them for my next Japan trip.
