The staff are very friendly and helpful
The staff are very friendly and helpful. I had to withdraw some coins into a cold wallet, and they sent me messages to check if it was done by me. This reassures me that they are doing their best to keep security high. I have been dealing with them for approximately two years and have had great help from staff at all times.

Not a safe platform
You'll read lots on their site saying safe, reassuring things about cold wallets etc.
Its just the wild west, your money is with other international exchanges like the famous FTX, and
you will be exposed to losses from other companies being hacked or bankruptcy.
During FTX they sold your crypto at the absolute bottom of the market and then paid back the cash equivalent months later, pocketing the gains.

Digital Surge has been my preferred crypto exchange for over 2 years now. I do check around to see if they remain competitive & they had my top marks in this space. Other exchanges want to know more details then it takes to obtain a mortgage & Digital Surge has only the minimum required KYC to get you happily trading. The fees & spread are also very low. I like the platform its easy to use & if there are any problems they are so quick to answer & help. You can set your preferred security settings for your account too. If your looking to buy, sell, trade or just hodl crypto then I highly recommend Digital Surge for sure.

I have been using Digital Surge for 2+ years now and love how simple their app is to use. Since coming out of voluntary administration several months ago, the company's communication has been fantastic. The Directors have held multiple webinars, shared regular updates in Facebook groups, and the customer support team have been very responsive. Great platform
Digital Surge achieved the best possible outcome given the bad situation with FTX. Instead of folding up and disappearing into the sunset like so many other, they've come up with a plan to return 57% back to customers and committed to repay the rest over 5 years!!! Yes, the lesson for all of us is not to keep crypto on any exchange, but I will definitely continue using Digital Surge as on and off-ramp.

My favourite platform!
I've been in crypto for a few years now and Digital Surge is definitely my go to platform, especially now I can easily swap my coins! I was definitely worried after they were affected by FTX but the transparency they provided and the changes made have given me great confidence to continue trading with them. On top of answering the laundry list of questions I had for them! Low fees, good selection of crypto and they don't overcomplicate the platform which I appreciate! Very easy to use and it's also comforting to know the very friendly and helpful customer service team is a quick message away to stop me from stressing out haha!

Easy to use and secure
Digital Surge has done the right thing by their customers after the recent debacle with FTX. My concerns were relieved by their support team who answered all the questions I had. The worst company for crypto in Australia ever
Administrators discovered the staff withdrawals while sifting through multiple outside bids to buy parts of the company, and securing $26.8 million in customer money from fellow crypto exchange Binance and offline “cold” storage wallets.
One staff member withdrew $1.6 million from the platform in the days following an internal meeting on November 11, where Digital Surge directors revealed to select staff the broker had exposure to FTX.
Administrators KordaMentha have since confirmed $33 million was lost in the FTX collapse and are furious the employee who withdrew the $1.6 million sum has refused to return the money.

Best crypto trading platform I've ever used
I went through a whole bunch of duds: Plus500, Celcius, eToro + several more platforms. Nothing compares to how easy and simple it is to use Digital Surge. The buy-sell spread is also lower than in Plus500 and eToro.
Only thing is that if you want to convert from cryptocurrency to another cryptocurrency, you have to transfer if back to AUD first which involves 2 x the transaction fee. Still, it's only 0.5% so about a 1% commission per trade. It's a small issue compared to what I had to deal with on the other platforms.
