Terrible service and horrible company
I placed an order on November 21, 2025 through direct.playstation.com, received a confirmation and was charged. Today (3 days later) I got a follow up email stating that the order cannot be fulfilled and that I will be refunded, which will likely take 8–10 days.
They take the payment immediately without guarantee they can fulfil the order, and the refund is nowhere near as quick as when they take your money.
Website is a real pain when searching, keep lagging and crashing.

This company is an absolute joke. Ordered the 30th Anniversary PS5 on Saturday (Order #1178238373) and they cancelled it without a single reason. No explanation, no apology — nothing.
Their “support” is pathetic. Live chat closed on me the moment I asked questions. Phone line? Dead. Nobody cares.
The way they operate is lazy, unprofessional and downright shameful. They can’t honour their own deals and then hide like cowards.
One of the worst, most useless companies I’ve ever dealt with. Avoid at all costs.

Ordered Friday early morning, signed for and received unmarked boxes next day Saturday evening! Had been informed would take 3 to 4 business days to reach its final destination, so many thanks for the early arrival!
Nearly £400 worth of gear in paper thin cardboard box with basically no internal padding.
Item arrive the next day which was nice. However the box it came in was extremely poor quality. Very thin & not much protection at all. The pitiful amount of padding inside the box done next to nothing to stop the PS5 box bouncing all over the place. All in all very unhappy with the delivery.

Quality control must be none existent
Quality control must be none existent. Bought PS VR 2 and issues with right controller - appears lots of people have this problem which if I'd have known I wouldn't have bought. Plugged into PC and it's a hardware fault.
Called PS store to get through to someone who couldn't help or transfer me after waiting 20 mins on queue.
Rang another number and the call was answered but nobody was talking and I could hear the call centre background noise.
Call back again to then be told I have to return the entire PS VR package when it's just the right congroller not working.
They're going to have it for 5-7 days before they even process anything to be sent back out.
What a joke, wish I didn't buy it.
To add insult to injury I didn't wait u til black Friday as I'm having a rough time in life at the moment and wanted it as soon as. But the time this gets replaced and I get to play it will be black Friday and I could have saved money - not impressed at all and won't be ordering anything direct from PS store again.

My brand new playstation (2 months old) completely died in August and when I tried to raise a repair request something on their system stopped them from raising a return label. Instead of trying to fix the problem I have been told essentially they have no idea when they can process my repair request and as of now (November) and after me phoning dozens of times I am not further forward. At this rate they may run out the warranty before they fix anything. Zero communication and I have been left with a dead console. Absolutely atrocious and they don't even have a complaints contact aside from me writing and sending a letter to them which should speak volumes. I hope they eventually fix my console and I hope I never have to deal with their customer service again after that

I received my PS5 plates expeditiously, notifications allowing me to track my order where clear and I’m always proud that PlayStation makes quality products. The design is great and I hope PlayStation continues to allow the customers to modify their product. Please restock the anniversary editions it’s not fair that only the elite can enjoy such nostalgic look. Maybe produce just the plates for those less financial fortunate like me which is the majority. Selling more would make more profit but most importantly will create more and new customers. Thank you,
