Bad delivery, ever!
This has happened to me far too often. Buying limited edition controllers is basically for collectors who want to display the boxes, but the problem is they come in shipping boxes with no protection whatsoever, not even a sticker saying "fragile." For this reason, I'm going to request a refund and I will never buy from your website again.

Love PS direct
My ONLY problem wasn’t with PlayStation… it was with UPS the shipping company they used. Horrible. Lost the package then found it a few days later. I just got the package - when it was supposed to be delivered last Thursday. Besides that - I LOVE PlayStation direct

Dude the delivery process was amazing, I chose the free delivery option for 4 days, and I received it 1 day earlier going through a weekend, the product looks amazing, package sealed and in great shape, I haven't tried the PS5 yet, but I will soon! 100% recommend this PS5!
Bureaucracy at it's finest
I placed an order on Saturday where apparently no staff for PS direct appear to work to assist with a cancellation, and there's no ability to be able to cancel directly from the order screen if you change your mind on the same day whilst the order is still in 'processing' stage.
Come Sunday, I check again, and same story - no support agent to speak with on live chat or phone, and no way to cancel the order from the order screen.
Fast forward to Monday at 9am when the support lines are open, and I'm met with a screen to say no agents are available until 10am which is opened in a pop up window which shows clearly that agents are available from 9am (?)
So which is it now, 9am or 10am?
In any case; I wait until 10am and met with someone picking up my request where the order is still in the processing stage and simply want the CS team to manually close my order and cancel it. Apparently not, I'm told to review the policies for cancellations and returns where users are required to submit a cancellation within 30 MINUTES of placing an order. Who wrote this policy?!
So now we have a support member telling me that I can return the order one I receive it, before the order has been processed and even dispatched. So currently my order is in the form of a system request to the distributor - this CAN be cancelled before they fulfil the request, but no, we have to go through an absolutely baffling process of submitting and processing an order that they know will be returned and offer to provide a returns label BEFORE A DISPATCH HAS EVEN OCCURED. I feel like I'm taking crazy pills here.
Sony - this is terrible business practice from a profit and loss POV, your support staff are less than helpful, and your cancellation policy is ridiculous.

Poor process, lack of communication
Received an email through bluelight for a £100 off any playstation console. As my son wanted one for Christmas, thought it was ideal. Ordered a PS5 slim disc edition with a coloured cover and matching controller. Had an email stating the order couldn't be fulfilled withoutfurther explanation. Called them after an hour of trying to find their number, and I was told that one of the items was out of stock, but they couldn't tell me which one as it was "cancelled by the warehouse" and to try ordering them separately (really poor system). Ordered the PS5 again, as it showed as in stock online, but this has also been cancelled as they are unable to fulfil the order. Thought I'd try the non slim disc drive version, but I'm now unable to use the discount they provided as its "already been redeemed" and you can't get any more codes through bluelight.
They need to update their website when items are out of stock and allow the agents on the phone to tell you which item was out of stock. Poor system and service really (when you can eventually find a number). My son doesn't really mind which console he gets, so after this I'll just get him an xbox instead.

I was amazed at how easy it was to place my order. Simply impressed at how quickly my order was processed and shipped. Pretty sure it was either here over night or within 2 days - that was NOT expedited or special shipping. That’s just how they roll apparently 😎
