Direct Global Trading Boxes is a family-owned, mail order business based in the heart of Yorkshire. Back in 2016, we became really excited about cardboard! Fast forward to today and millions of boxes and thousands of house moves later, we’re still in love with the stuff!
Our cardboard boxes are made right here in God’s own country! We’re proud to use 100% recycled materials in our boxes meaning that our boxes are 100% recycled, 100% recyclable and 100% reusable. Now that’s pretty amazing, even if we do say so ourselves!
Over the next few years, our aim is to continue to be clever with cardboard as we introduce new and innovative products to our range – all in the name of making your lives easier!

Good quality and fast!
Good quality boxes and I was honestly surprised at the speed of delivery! It did say next day when I was ordering but that was on Sunday so I wouldn't have necessarily held them to it. However, I got emails saying the order was confirmed at 1644, dispatched at 1649, dpd email at 1701, then at 1244 on the Monday received the boxes!! I had previously tried to order these from amazon on prime and evri said they couldn't deliver due to size/weight but I had to wait daaays before amazon would allow me to ask for a refund. DGT sorted me a refund without fuss, so I thought I'd give them a go direct and I'm glad I did! The few pounds for delivery is made up by slightly lower product prices, and I actually got them this time!

Be careful. The boxes are fine, delivery prompt but Customer Service appalling.
I purchased a bundle that included tape but the tape was missing. I requested the tape and they have blanked me. Refusing to engage in correcting their error.

Strong, good quality boxes. We had paid for next day delivery but DPD had an issue and it was therefore delayed. The Direct team were responsive, refunded the postage and arranged for DPD to prioritise delivery for the next day (so arrived within 48 hours). Thanks team, wish I'd ordered all our boxes from you as we also had some v poor quality ones from Amazon.

Website promises delivery within 24 hours
DO NOT RELY ON DELIVERY GUARANTEES FROM THIS COMPANY. Had to buy boxes from different company.
Website promises delivery if ordered before 19:00. The courier company DPD didn’t even pick the parcel up from Barnsley until 23:05 the next day. DPD showed they received the details at 18:23 on 7th July. Website said they were awaiting the goods. Clearly missrepresentation
Order was time critical for delivery on 8th July. Global Trading don’t have number and their chat replacement guarantees response within 24 hours - useless.

Excellent experience
Would definitely recommend this company. Love the boxes-good quality at a great price. Ordered just before 7pm and the boxes arrived, well packaged, just after 9am the following day. Rolls of free tape are a nice touch too! Had to contact the office as one of my packs didn't arrive. Couldn't have gone any better. I emailed, they replied offering either refund or replacement. Opted for replacement and it arrived the next morning. Excellent customer service. So nice to find somewhere that just works! Thank you.
