Just received service today and everything was fine.

Pedro the service technician was excellent and very polite. So far everything is working. The only problem is that I'm positive the sales representative quoted the pkg deal at around $105. I think I will be paying $115. Plus I wanted him to send me an email of an estimate of the cost after a year. He said he would and it shouldn't be more than $30. I just want to make sure of this but didn't get this email

Best customer service I have had in a long time!!

I started out talking to Ashley via chat and she made it too easy, actually I thought once we spoke she would dump the bad news or extra rates on me. WRONG, once we spoke on the phone, it went even better than I thought. She made everything so easy and the discounts blew me away. I wish I would have called months ago!

I was die hard Comcast, but customer service won me over with Direct TV

MY family member who is an IBO, talked me into looking into Direct TV. I have a telecommunications background and always heard that with satellite there is attenuation with this service when it rains.. He said they improved and the customer representative answered all my questions and I was able to save some money as well.

Sandy at DirectstarTV -THE BEST customer service ANYWHERE! And LOWEST PRICES EVER!

I hate moving! And I am not sure anyone likes it, but I put off the "new services" I have to get when moving to a new area... it's a little scary not knowing what I need or want and a little humbling with my budget. I have been talked to terribly in the past - "oh well if you can't afford that..." Well Sandy was WONDERFUL! I acyually felt like I was talking to a friend and she was such a tremendous help that I am not at all apprehensive about having satellite again. I had it once (DISH) and was not happy with the service, but too bad, I had a contract - even if it didn't work half the time. And the tech that installed it then left all the wires running across my living room floor and up the wall into the vent - said that was about as good as wiring as any. She assured me that the tech service is top rate. I also just had an experience with TWC, setting my in-laws (who are in their late 70's and live in Ohio) and the tech came with no equipment, showed up at 730pm and then tried to get cash from my father in law if he did a side deal - very intimidating and all wrong. I am so sure, based on Sandy's knowledge and expertise of the products, channels, boxes - everything, that I can already picture what I will be getting and I also know exactly what I'll be paying each month - not a round about price. SHE WAS A GOD SEND in a very hectic and troubling time during a move to a new area. Thank you DirectstarTv - she is blessing.

Rep was entirely helpful and informative - WAY better than Comcast!

I have been wanting to switch to DirecTV for over a year, but couldn't due to not having a clear view from my apt for the dish. Once I moved and saw that my neighbor had DirecTV installed I knew that I could switch from sorry and pitiful Comcast. (They have the WORST customer service! It's nearly impossible trying to speak to an actual person. And when you do, you can't understand a word they say.) Back to my DirecTV experience, I was helped by Rebecca and she was extremely helpful and pleasant. She went through every process and read back the entire agreement before processing my order. She reviewed everything so thoroughly that I didn't have any questions after the whole thing was over. I will recommend DirecTV to anyone who asks!

Extremely pleasant

I will have you know I called Comcast this morning and they were very rude and not helpful at all. I chose to call Verizon Fios to see what the benefits and packages consisted of and everything ended up coming out cheaper than Comcast and included way more in the package. The Customer Service rep was extremely friendly and helpful and I am very glad i chose to call Verizon Fios this morning. I was even able to get my service connected the next day rather than waiting the 3-5 days Comcast requires. I was very pleased at the end of my phone call. Thank YOU!!!!

Customer service...GOOD customer service...still exists!!

Calling about TV and Internet service after a long day at work is NOT what I wanted to do on a Monday evening. But, the time had come when I simply couldn't put this task off any longer. I reluctantly made the call. Fully expecting to play the game with any number of recordings (like my current provider has). I almost didn't know what to do when I got an actual person! An actual person who was asking me questions and listening to my answers!! What a concept! I first spoke with Shelton. He helped me with my TV needs. I didn't feel like he was rushing me along. I know I was asking a lot of questions, but I never felt like Shelton was in any hurry to get the deal done. He helped to get me the best deal. This might be the standard for your company, but it isn't everywhere. It is SO refreshing as a customer to have someone take a few minutes and know that you are getting the best deal. Shelton sent me to Louis at Century Link to set up my Internet. Louis was equally as personable and helpful. He took the time to walk me through different options and find the one that would be best for me. My service hasn't even started with you guys yet, but I'm blown away by the customer service I've experienced. Thank you to Shelton and Louis! Well done!

EXCELLENT COSTUMER SERVICE PEOPLE!

I spent the whole day shopping around for new appliances, utilities, services for Internet and Cable around my area... After a few bad experiences and lot of searching on the internet I was about to give up and just choose whoever I could reach...
At the end of the day, I could not put it off any longer and decided to try Direct TV as suggested by my actual AT&T service. They said they work with Direct TV since their cable service is not available in my new neighborhood...
Well, I was amazed to find myself speaking with some one in Texas! KEEP JOBS IN USA!!! He was knowledgeable, helpful, respectful, and to the point!, He gave me all the information I needed and more! He helped me set up my service at a price I was not expecting... And with all the channels I want and need... GREAT EXPERIENCE, NICE END OF THE DAY, FINALLY!

Great customer service.

I spoke with a representative named Justin. He was a great help and was very patient with me as I had asked him so many questions. I have been wanting to make the switch from comcast to direct tv but was nervous to do so. After speaking with Justin, my fears have diminished and I believe this cable company will be much better than comcast!

The most fun I've had ordering a service over the phone.

My sales rep, Ty from Florida, was a blast to talk to. He was quite professional and knowledgeable about the products and services. He was also fun to talk to and laughed at my jokes. What could be better?

He helped set me up with the best package, mostly, for my desired price range and was totally honest about the costs.

tip top customer experience

iam am a dish network customer for 6 years, I felt they stopped careing about old customers and give all the offers to new ones. your prices are modeatly lower . we will see how they measure up as time goes by. the rep. I placed my order with was very through and was able to make up my mind, cause I did not call to place an order ,was mainly a fishing expedition (like I said I have been with dish for a long time and really was going to get info to use against dish to get them to up grade my service.) .I hope that my experience with direct t v will not sour with time thank you

Couldn't have been easier!!

My experience with the Direct Star agent was very pleasant and informative. She knew all of the answers and some of the questions I needed to know, but didn't have to ask. It did not take long to figure out that it was a great deal for my family and I am looking forward to the installation so that I can start enjoying all of the benefits that I have received from Direct!! Very Satisfied!!
