2 months Order Not Received & Shameful Customer Support...
Having not received an order placed on 5th June 2023...
I today (over 2 months later) rang (11:16 am) to find out where this order was...
I spoke to Ash (sales assistant) who was very abrupt and offish, after giving my order reference number to twice, still believed that I had not given it to him??....
I insisted on speaking with his manager Rich whose manner and behaviour were simply disgusting.
Rich (Manager) was more interested in confirming when the order was sent and insistent that it was not their problem if Royal Mail did not deliver the item??...
Very disappointed that he had no customer care whatsoever, I asked for the owner's details in order that I may register my great disappointment at the severe lack of customer support and service that would SADLY PREVENT ME FROM SHOPPING WITH SUCH AN ORGANISATION AGAIN as it reflects badly upon my business.

Great company to deal with, reasonable prices & speedy dispatch

5 or 6 years ago I bought all my new kitchen appliances from Enterprise 2000. Recently I have had a few problems and have used their partners Direct Supplies to resolve the same. I have received an excellent service from Direct Supplies in this and would highly recommend them.

Direct Trade Supplies is my go-to website for lights and I'd highly recommend them. They have a fantastic range of lights for very competitive prices. Delivery has always been prompt and, most importantly to me, the lights have been extremely well packaged so everything (including very fragile glass lamps) has arrived safe and sound.

Very helpful, pleasant people to do business with. Delivery was prompt and arrived just as they said it was. Goods were packed very well. I have no complaints whatsoever and would definitely use them again, especially as their price was the cheapest by far compared to others.

Fast delivery and best price for product.

I always buy searchlight lights - the quality / price is just great.
DTS are always the cheapest too - normally substantially.
I ordered monday, and my 5 patio lights, at half rrp, were delivered on Tuesday.
Just faultless

Fantastic all round. Called for advice, answered quickly and had all answers. Price was probably the best. Brought 32 downlights and 32 fire hoods, and delivered very fast.

Customer Service - Poor
I have been reading a number of reviews as it relates to Direct Trade Customer Service - consistently being rated as excellent: this has not been my experience. Our patio doors were delivered and installed in 2022; they look absolutely great. However, I believe this company is badly let down by their customer service. Our doors was delayed significantly - update was poor. We have since reported a fault in 2023 - twice to date; each time there is no appropriate feedback unless we follow-up. Fault has still not been resolved!

Good firm - I made a mistake and binned a box that contained an item that I needed to finish a job. Great service, put themselves out to help me and resolve the issue. I would recommend them and use again. Thanks again for your service.

Great price on lights I wanted - much cheaper than elsewhere. Delivered next day.

Had an issue with in line toothbrush charger. Excellent customer service from beginning to end... good communication, nothing too much trouble. Replaced immediately. First class service 👏 if only all businesses were this good. Thank you.

Ordered lights costing over £300. Only received confirmation of order. Although it stated next day delivery on the website. I had not heard anything for 2 days. Then randomly I received a text from FedEx in regards to my delivery. It was all last minute and I had to arrange to be at home when the delivery was made. I only received part of my order, so I called direct trade supplies and spoke to an extremely rude employee. Who said there’s nothing we can do, you’ll get your delivery whenever it arrives. I waited another five days, still nothing so I called again and another employee said for some reason there’s been a block made on the delivery, something me as a customer would not do, so I only assumed it was the previous colleague who was quite rude who put a block on my delivery via Royal Mail. As soon as I had made the second call and put the phone down. I received my lights within an hour so it looks like direct trade supplies uplifted the ban on the delivery and my item was delivered, it was so petty the way the employee dealt with my call to get back at me. He he blocked my delivery. He made me wait even longer, that was petty and on top of that, there was no communication whatsoever from the company in regards to my delivery. We order things online more or less every week and this is the only company that has not kept us up-to-date with what’s going on with our delivery. I expected all my items to be delivered in one go, if that wasn’t the case, I expected direct trade supplies to at least notify me that I will be receiving two separate deliveries and when I would be expecting them, not everything last minute, we’ve got children, have work and school runs etc and we need to be notified in advance regarding delivery and what’s going on with our order. Really poor customer service. I’d advise people to stay away and pay the few extra £ elsewhere. To top it off. The second delivery was delivered in a really poor way, the box was damaged. I hope the light is working fine when it’s installed.

Excellent company with high quality electrical ceiling and side lights. I have purchased from this company for over 6 years and they ate consistently good.

Good price, not helpful customer service over the phone. Very surprisingly long date to be dispatched. I couldn't understand why reviews on trustpilot were good!

Ordered a wall light fitting that turned out to be faulty. One phone call to customer services and in particular a very helpful chap called Leon was enough to solve my issue.
A replacement was sent out within a couple of days with a label to exchange boxes with the courier and then -- bob's your uncle -- issue solved !!.
I just wish this high standard of customer service was given with some of the other companies I've had to deal with recently.
