I was able to purchase the home of my dreams. The process was extremely easy. I was informed every step throughout the process. I’m on tracking to purchase my home within a year.

It’s been awesome 🤩 dealing with Divvy Homes.

Divvy did not hold up its end of the deal. If I could give 0, I would. At first I recommended divvy to friends and family, but based on my experience this may change. Divvy is unresponsive. What house did I close on? Divvy has responded that they don’t see a recent inquiry from me. OF COURSE YOU DON’T BECAUSE DIVVY DID NOT RESPOND IN WRITING AS THE THEIR CONTRACT STATES.

The buying process was great! However, the after repairs not so much. I will be contacting Divvy regarding the lack of completion for the (allowance was given) repairs. Also, I received a notice from the HOA for a payment due. It seems to me that the Divvy or buyers address would have been provided to the HOA.

We had several problems in the house and DIVVY came through in fixing all the problems. They were quick and efficient. Thank you DIVVY

Overall the experience has been good.
The only negative is securing repairs in a timely manner.
Gladly, most of our issues have been resolved. There are still some unfinished repairs that need to be addressed.

They were there for me when I was desperate and needed help. They worked quicker than I imagined was even possible and got the deal done without my being present. All things considered They didn't disappoint. Getting a good agent who cares more than their own profit on your side really would make all the difference. 1 less star for making a deal with previous owners for repair not performed after the fact and putting it off to me as a "possible " future homeowner on my dime. Not fair, don't like how that part went down but again greatful to not have been homeless at a very desperate and trying time in mine and many other people's lives. If you have somthing holding you back from buying a home and it makes more sense to buy rather than rent your next home I do highly recommend them. You will be responsible for most if not all repairs and appliances in the home as you would as the homeowner so be aware of everything before accepting use of such a service program. Leasing to own is possible though.

I provided 13 months of paychecks, my 10-99s, and access to my bank accounts. I provided far more than was asked even after the 3rd request for “additional documentation”, yet they still said they needed more even though they already had it all. I am not sure if this company is legitimate or not, so I would advise that you exercise caution if you want to try to use this company. I am going to be watching all my accounts and credit reports for the next year or two just in case as I feel like they are fraudulent. Best of luck to anyone who has been scammed by them.

The company’s payment plan is good but for the money we spend we should receive the same maintenance request for the house that apartment’s offer

The house I was looking to buy had mold in when you tell divvy about your issues they send out people that they are contracted with to come look at the problem and they try to make you look like you dum but and reality it was a major problem that didn't get resolved it also made me and my family very sick which caused us to move out now we don't have nothing to show that we had 22,000 dollars invested in this house I will not refer anybody to this program it a scam to get your money

Signing up with Divvy was a breeze the agent that sold us the home and found us a home was amazing.
However once we got into the home, it was a completely different story. The inspector had some concerns and Divvy was hoping to wait and address his concerns for when we will need to buy the house cause “it didn’t need to be addressed right away” Which seems extremely sketchy to me however, instantly things started going wrong in this home right away and the maintenance service that Divvy continues to hire continues to do terrible jobs, which have just snowballed into terrible renovations, that all could’ve been avoided.
We had a small leak dripping in the guest bathroom which divvy sent someone else to fix and the maintenance person said it was fixed it clearly wasn’t it was still dripping so bad that it was a constant stream coming from the faucet. The Fossett continue to get worse, and I sent a request and asked with so it was gonna come out because they also had people supposedly coming out to fix the chimney to replace all the windows (who measured wrong and ordered the wrong size so we had to take off work twice) so when someone finally came out to look at the leak, we were also complaining about because water was gushing up from our floors in our kitchen master bedroom in master bath, so much damage has occurred. After weeks of walking around with shoes on in our old house because water was just constantly pulled up from the floor. They were able to fix it but there’s now mold in our kitchen cabinets floorboards underneath the floor in the bathrooms. It’s so bad that I can’t even use our master bathroom because the smell is so strong and I’m allergic to it so I’m constantly getting sick and having to miss more work because I can’t even function in my own home.
There were some things that happened due to a hurricane that passed over, like our chimney stack being ripped out of the roof, was replaced with the most Rinky dinky scrap pieces of metal ever I don’t even think it could be considered a chimney stack. And when I sent pictures to the divvy maintenance. They completely ignored my concerns and adjust other things in my message. So now I’m looking at getting a county inspector to come out and check these things because I can’t trust Divvy to address my concerns.
Absolutely would not recommend anyone to buy through divvy. I wish things were better, I wanted this to work out so badly.

Awesome experience. I just feel that the price does not align with the original vision of the founder. I feel that if the program is truly to help people get back on their feet or immigrants a leverage then the price is a just too high compared to the running costs and actual mortgage Divvy pays to the bank. Although, I’m grateful o can but state and warn others to ensure they work hard to jump out.

Divvy gave me a chance when all odds were against me. If your credit score is low but you have steady income then give Divvy a try.
