Staying at Golf Beach & Thalasso. 1/6/26 - 15/6/26.
Beach bar - not always open, no beer.
Beach beds are old and uncomfortable and not enough of them.
Sea is inaccessible due to large amounts of weed/algae and rocks - bring water shoes as no one sells them here. Parasols are old and low down.
Animation are friendly and entertain a group of people: alright if you like music blaring out for most of the day and evening.
Entertainment is the same every night. Even when there’s an act on, the compare takes over. The entertainment doesn’t include British people and the compare doesn’t appear to know England exists - he asked me if I was Chinese! The entertainment is very loud and goes on until midnight. There is nothing here outside of the hotel, so you can’t even go walking. There is rubbish everywhere along the road. The internet is poor, even bought data is intermittent because of the remoteness of the hotel. It boasts 4* but doesn’t match up to the 3* of Turkey and Egypt.
Room is dated but clean, good shower.
Restaurant is good: food is fine and service is very good.
We still have another week to endure and are looking forward to returning home. We won’t be back.
