This course was a life-changer experience for me because it wasn't only about how to learn English as a second language but about how to learn in general in the most efficient way and of the importance of having your goals clear.

I think that it is highly recommended to read his book first, before joining the course.

MEFA was the best course I've ever had. It was just brilliant. Yes, I'm not going to lie, this was a tough course, but at the end of the course I've boosted my self-confidence which I really need, and my thoughts regarding English have completely changed. I now DOING ENGLISH with more confidence and enjoy it so much!

Just completed the course. Excellent course, well thought and organised with the weekly Homeworks and coaching calls.

Everything was very intensive for me.
I've made some mindset improvements and I'm in a self reeducation process, using the things you have taught about English because they're aplicable and transferible for different areas in life.

I also restarted running, a hobby I really like doing, and on feb next year I'll run my third marathon, this time a little bit longer, 10km.

To reach a career goal, I needed to make the English language a real tool I can use. Before that, I didn't feel at ease with the language and struggled with finding the right word and choosing the right tense. I knew I had to take it to another level. The metaphor of a spaceship launch used in the course description was brilliant, so I didn't look further.
I've been watching Julian's videos for a while, and the winning argument to join the course was a chance to get a bonus of one-to-one coaching session with 'the cool guy with unconventional ideas from Youtube'. Of course, I worried about the efficiency of the program because the description looked too good to be true. 
However, it turned out to match the description precisely. You work on your approach, step by step eliminating outdated concepts and beliefs. You replace the old habits with the new ones. You learn to use your past mistakes to make your future conversations better. You stop thinking about the grammar, vocabulary and pronunciation, you start using the language to communicate the ideas. Together with intensive learning (again, without grammar exercises and memorising lists of words), it improves the language you speak.
An unexpected bonus was to be in a group of people from all around the world, all of them being successful professionals, and learn from their experience. Becoming aware of different prospectives gives you a more comprehensive picture.
In a nutshell, this course is for people who 1)want to go beyond the standard learning process and 2)are not afraid to admit that their assumptions need revising and changing. And I'm not talking only about English related stuff. If you apply the concepts and ideas of the course to your life in general, you'll take its quality (in all senses) to another level, too.

The course was excellent! it's change my mind completely about how to learn English and how much I was wasting my time until now. After finished the 12 weeks of MEFA course. I just want to say "Excellent". It is not only about English or language, but also how you have to come across with your new challenges and your life. It is not a traditional course. you will not learn any grammar rules or advanced sentence structures. All you have to learn is a habit. Good habit: keep it and enforce it. Bad habit: get rid of it. Every time when I review your materials, I still can get new things. Thank you, Julian! You made me feel that English is not a monster and honestly I am quite enjoying the time when I am studying English now. I know that it is just the start of my new English journey and I am very glad and thankful I can meet Julian in my life.

I just want to say that MEFA is not an English Course, it is a Course for life!!
When I got it I didn´t know what MEFA was.... and it was exactly what I didn´t expect. Which was wonderful because for many years I was fighting with the traditional English Teaching System. Now I have a different point of view that lets me able to improve not just my English also my life.
But wait I minute, like Julian says in your e-mails, MEFA isn´t for everyone and you must be willing to change all those stuff why you are struggling you with English.

Spoken English had always been my weak spot, but not anymore. I did not start speaking as a native speaker overnight, but I gained that confidence and found the way to improve it on a daily basis. I could not even imagine that my daily learning routine can bring so much fun. I am constantly improving my vocabulary. I can reply to most common questions without thinking. My social life has approved significantly. What else can you wish for?

No pain, no gain. it is what truly reflect on this course. I had doubted would it worth the money or more went to the opposite before joined MEFA, after completing this intensive 12 weeks courses, I feel like there is a new born me in side. Julian guided us along the way to help forming my new habits and thoughts, those top two secrete and powerful tools can be used in learning any language, or any new skill. (from my point of view). With right attitude, you definitely can have the most positive outcome only if you believe it and do it.

If you agree that to success in something must having right materials and right methods in hand, then Julian is the best tutor for helping with no doubt.

I just completed my 12 week course of MEFA and taking this course is one of the best decisions I have made. This is not a crash course on english language or spoken english. This course will change the way you look at learning or speaking english. It will help you identify some of your “mental inhibitions” in english speaking and will help in habituating your brain to experience & enjoy english. I can assure you that after finishing the course, you will never look at english the same way and you will be much more confident in tackling your language barriers.

As for the course model, this is extremely well-planned course with extensive research and prep work that touches the fundamental issues of speaking fluently in english. Although these sessions are pre-recorded, Julian’s way of narration and real-life examples will make you feel like as if he is speaking to you directly and this course is made for you :) The weekly homework format is also very well structured (btw, Julian does not hesitate to point out any mistakes ). Julian is always (24/7) available if you have any questions on not just the course but any question you may have in English. Weekly Q&A sessions are of great help too.

Finally, this course provides all the tools to get you going and once you start implementing these “habits”, sky is the limit. Good luck!

An extraordinary alchemy!

MEFA course gave me much more than I expected. Besides getting efficient on learning English in the right track, dipping into the dissection of linguistics, I also learnt the knowledge of the science researches. Moreover, they are very comprehensible and coherent.

“You’ll never improve what you don’t notice” (This is the most powerful trigger during the course)

I tried signing up to the schools long time ago, tried different methods and bought many academic materials. They were good until I reached to higher level. I got stuck in my career, my English ability wouldn't improve as much as it used to be. The way I was taught and learnt were the things that held me back, I couldn’t get anywhere, and I was very frustrated and upset.

“I have no special talent. I am only passionately curious.”

The novelty that MEFA has promised didn’t disappoint me. On the contrary, it blew me away EACH TIME. I got the FLOW. I enjoyed every section the course had offered. The anecdotes of the short stories from EES are superb.
I also learnt lots of things I didn’t know, such as the knowledge and the culture. When I finished each of the MEFA lesson, I craved for the next one.

I must say that the course is well-defined, very organized and has its own depth. The materials they provided are pretty structured and useful. I was amazed. I can see that they put a lot of efforts to improve and polish the contents.That’s why I called this course as an Alchemy at the beginning.

Doing English is different from any other English learning method.
Mastering second language is not just to get new skills.
It relate to your way of thinking or the way of see the world.
His coaching will open the door, and you can see the new world.

If you think you know English but you mostly feel like you are not expressing yourself as it should be or not showing yourself as funny/sophisticated/ as you are in your mother language then this course can show you what you really need to focus on. Because it's not repeating the same grammar rules, that's going to help you. You have to change your mindset and Julian can definitely help you with that.
If you really feel like making commitment for doing English and spending your time and energy for your own good, definitely recommend it! Otherwise keep in mind that you'll be the one who is learning and no one is going to run after you for completing your lessons/homework.
