It deserves 6 out of 5 stars

I'm always a skeptical person when it comes to online education, turns out I got a lot more bang for my buck after finishing it.

This guy teaches not only English, but also the skill & mindset you need to "truely" master the language. There are tons of english courses out there, none of them I've taken so far was as effective as this one (Yeah, I've taken quite a few of other courses out there). Not until finishing the course did I realise that learning a language is far more than just memorising vocabs or practicing with a native speaker or such. I can tell because before joining this course I'd already been living in an english speaking country, using english on a daily basis for years.

By the way, it's ONLY for those who are ambitious to push their English to a native-like level, so yeah... don't bother if you're just after "okayish" English.

Spoiler alert it's not about grammar.

In the beginning, I was hesitant to take this course and the reason for that it was the cost.
Today I've completed the course (MEFA), and I want to say this was the best investment decision I've ever made.

You will find many techniques and methods inside the course

The dictation exercise enhanced my listening skills and also improved my writing skills.

Now I know that I'm on the right track I know what to focus on and what to do.

The course will supply you with a lot of lessons,
From buying bicycles to discussing the worth of university degree, many situations.
In any online course, the most important thing is support.
Here in this course, you can ask using the website or the email, and if you don't like using this method.
On every Friday there is a live Q&A session, and you can ask Julian, and he will answer you.

Brilliant Learning I've Ever Had

Throughout this coarse,my approach toward English totally changed in great ways.
Each session was very clear to understand what are important things to improve my English.
Also, the coaching lesson was brilliant.
I could be aware of my improvement eveytime I talked with Julian.
This coarse was very helpful not only to speak in English but also in any other conversation I'm having.
I really appreciate the chance to take this coarse.
Now I enjoy using English.

A good place to learn to be British

British Stories is about British culture, not only the English language but all the small details that make British culture different. You need an intermediate level of English to enjoy the course and throughout it, your English will improve and you will understand much better many aspects of people and British culture.

A Worthy Investment

I took MEFA and I'm a member of EES, in my opinion, Julian is an excellent teacher, his lessons are rich in common expressions and are explained in detail under real situations within the English culture. He is clear since the beginning, miracles won't happen, you will need to make your job but he is going to teach you how to do it efficiently and measurably. A different approach from others that I have experienced. I also recommend reading his books: Mastering in English, and Fearless Fluency, to have a better understanding of his methodology.

Addictive!!!

I joined the British Stories course last year, after being an EEs member, as a change of scenario. I wanted to be more focused on British daily-life culture, and this is exactly what this course is supposed to provide. Honestly I've found even more. Since from the first episode you can truly appreciate how Julian's method is right: coming from EEs set up my mindset, and just through intense sections of shadowing and dictation you can really start to understand how English has been shaped by its culture, I mean, why and how native speakers actually speak the way they do. In short, totally recommended, but only for those ready to roll up their sleeves, of Course!

Entertaining and useful

I find British Stories really helpful to have an active approach towards English. I'm living in an english speaking country but don't feel that participating in a passive way is making me progress any further. Thanks Julian for keeping me engaged!

British Stories

Having lived with an English family for three years I’d always been pretty confident in my understanding of English culture. I was wrong! I loved British Stories and I learnt more than I could ever imagine. Just to give you one example, before going through these lesson it happened to me to attend a funeral and I felt so embarrassed as I didn’t have a clue what was appropriate to say. But -Hey- now I do. Hopefully I won’t need this anytime soon anyway ;)

A different way of learning English

I can't begin to tell you how different this course from the "classic way" of learning English is, but what I can tell you is that it works. This course doesn't teach you any grammar rules, but what it does is change your mindset on how to learn and use English, but above all it teaches you how to use English in your daily routine.
So if you want to use English in your REAL life, Julian is the right teacher for you!

Julian is the BEST ⭐️

A few months ago I googled “English courses for advanced English learners” I saw many courses with unbelievable promises for mastering English in three months or in 6 months and I didn’t believe them. Because I had purchased a lot of courses and now I know that most of them are awful courses but with great marketing. But Julian’s MEFA course caught my attention. So I went to his YouTube channel and decided to watch some of his videos to decide whether to join MEFA or not. And so after watching a lot of the videos I felt like Julian’s totally different and he teaches you how to learn effectively not shallowly. So I joined his courses: MEFA, EES, British Stories, And also I bought all his published books.

MEFA is a 12-week course where you have to watch videos and then do homework. The sessions are always full of information and things that will change your opinion about the way that you learn English. Those 12 weeks made me change my learning routine to more efficient and productive daily work. And I now enjoy the learning time because I knew what should I do and what should I avoid. And I now know the difference between garbage materials and effective materials. I highly recommend this course for everyone it is brilliant! British Stories are a video course that teaches you more about British culture in a very engaging way. For the EES course, it’s full of very engaging and brilliant weekly uploaded materials for learning every day in an effective way as I mentioned before. Julian is so generous for embedding lessons from EES for our MEFA weekly tasks and from there I decided to join the course. The lessons are explained really well. And I can’t describe how great are they. And just recently and from my experiences in learning with Julian I decided to buy all his books and I’m currently halfway through the first one.

Again I highly recommend Julian’s courses as they’re all great! 👍🏻

King Julian

Are sick and tired of doing boring grammar exercises? That's not the right way of mastering the language.

Julian has helped me completely change my approach to learning English. I highly recommend all his eye-opening stuff.

Warning: it's only for open minded people. Don't expect miracles, but honest advice (all based on research) which works only when you implement them right.

P.S.
He's a real, approachable guy, which is happy to have a drink with his clients. I know what I'm saying and have a proof for that. ;)
