RipOff Tree

What pisses me off is when I am asked to buy a toy for a $1/$1.25 for a child of a military/other for Christmas. Dollar Tree probably get a $1+ and the toy costs less than a quarter. Dollar Tree gets bucks and the kid gets junk.
Also 50 cent greeting cards have gone up to $1.25!

im a an employee at dollar tree store…

im a an employee at dollar tree store #1789... i been being bullied and screamed at in front of customers by an ast manager.. mariam pipps is her name... not only am i ,but she screams at customers as well....i been there 13 years and have never recieved treatment like she does in front of customers. last week i told her please dont holler at me in front of customers take me in the office or back room...so today i took my little bit of garbage to the back maybe gone 2 seconds.. i come out and she screaming at me i had a customer i said ok... then she yells well your hard of hearing so... so she not only bullies me but im being discriminated for having a hearing problem.... this is been going on for a while and the way she treats our customers is a shame... im afraid something is gonna happen in there always looking for an agument with the customers.... she is always screaming no one wants to come in for their shifts in front of everyone... she has anger issues..... i sure hope you can resolve this issue.... i have been a loyal emploee for 13 years...i go above and beyond for my job... thank you... enough is enough... joy closser store 1789

Dollar tree is not the good old dollar…

Dollar tree is not the good old dollar tree anymore. The time of $1 products is over. Today I payed for articles 1.50-5.00 for normal dollar tree products (not the specials). It’s not attractive anymore to buy there. 🤷‍♀️

As an employee

As an employee, if you want to fire me then go ahead. I am an ASM, Merch...with seasonal,price changes etc, this company has bombarded each store...they gave us xtra hrs..great if you have the employees to come in..if not..the SM has to bust butt over their 48-50 hr salary to get it all done. I'm a merch mgr, who has my SM back.I don't get overtime,, thats a no no with this company. I have a SM who is stressing out and had to take mental health days..you think they care? I can't cover her job cause I cant go into o/t. Best SM,our store is extremely well kept, stock and we always strive to get all our freight out every week. We are one of those stores,compliments everyday..yet we arent recognized, we get nothing with the having stores in the same district that have nothing on shelves, no customer service, bad reviews. So you tell me what is fair with this company?

Shame on Dollar Tree

I went in to buy a gift bag and saw it had a red dot over the $1.25. I asked the cashier what was going and she said it was not longer a $1.25 store. I did not buy the $5.00 bag and will no longer go there. Instead, I will go to Dollar General where they have decent prices and actually have sales and incentives for next time you return.

Pricing themselves out of their name

Well. Dollartree needs to re-name itself nothing for a dollar tree. Ever since they were bought out they have been working to change themselves from a true discount store. And the truly cheesy thing that corporate had the workers do is put red stickers over the 1.25 price to jack it up to 1.50 or 1.75. This means they are jacking up inventory that they already paid for themselves expecting the old price point. Gross. They now have priced themselves such that their smaller now cost proportionately more and are not a bargain at all

It's not going to change

It's not going to change, for the simple reason the area it is in comfortable in disarray of the store and people. The manger appears to be rule only at the times I am in the store. She speaks in tong to her workers about the customers who come into the store. I decided to buy an earpiece that translate to my language. ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING !

Location : (169th st Hammond, indiana )
Bad enough, they Raised their prices to $1.25 items, but to have Empty shelf with no product, really ? And the outside is even worse, Garbage over flowing Garbage can , Garbage all over the ground ,parking lot, I took pictures to post online, let people know, SHUT THIS PLACE DOWN !!! This is how you treat customers who is spending there money ?

DOLLAR TREE VISIT

All you have to do is go into a Dollar Store! Total disaster, disgusting items on floor, boxes stacked everywhere that need opening. They don't pay their employees, nor have enough help to clean up the messes..The store in Twin Falls idaho is a total frickin disaster..I go to Jerome, Id store, and what do I find in that store this morning, which was always very organized, a TOTAL disaster! I think you need a new CEO.. take some of his annual salary and hire decent employees, and pay them a decent salary. What a shame to see this disgusting mess. Shame on all of you..

Insulting Cashier Dorothy fails to bag items

Rude Cashier named Dorothy (located in Pleasanton, Rosewood Drive CA) does not bag items and will make insulting comments like "Your bag is dirty." If you cannot bag you can politely tell that to the customer and maybe someone else can. (All other employees in the store do) No need for horrible attitude. Totally lazy woman and too proud. Her customer service is poor. She yells at customers if they ask a simple question like where an item is. She has a proud attitude and does not show any accountability for her wrong actions. Dollar Tree really needs to look into this. It is an unpleasant atmosphere at this location.

visited DT St John Indiana

visited DT St John Indiana. The cashier was extremely rude, flat out unkind. She had buzzed hair and pretty hazel eyes. I was so uncomfortable I nearly walked away and left my items. I certainly don’t intend on visiting again.

Stores don't follow policy

Time and time and time again stores have refused to honor/follow Dollar Tree's return policy clearly posted on the Dollar Tree website. "No refund (w/receipt), only exchange" WRONG. "No return/exchange of unopened, unused body spray/wipes" WRONG. "No exchange without receipt" WRONG. Does corporate care? NO. I care though. I care that a company the size of Dollar Tree doesn't insist that ALL of their stores abide by THEIR OWN POLICIES. I've considered consulting an attorney. Sometimes it's really all about principles.

Rudeness by an employee

This is the third time I've used the store in the last 2 weeks which I frequently use it but there's one young black individual woman that always seem to have an attitude problem with everybody that's in there no hello good morning I said good morning to her this morning but you don't have to respond and she looked at me and turned her head and I said it again she said hey so she gave you my change through my stuff literally in the bath from the basket and just turned out of her business and walked away like she had something better to do I really don't appreciate this and I really think that she should get a job maybe at the veterinarian clinic or something else but she should not be around people with an attitude like this and I'm not the only one that has complained I'm just the only one that has let you know that have been complaints the store number is 8919 it's in Kankakee Illinois on 545 South Washington Street I know the manager Jamie and the old manager Jacob and the fellow employees and they were always so nice but with this new crew that's coming in doesn't look like a good fit

The store manager and all the employees…

The store manager and all the employees have turned the around 100 percent the has been clean and all the employees have done an amazing job the only problem I have is the nasty district manager he never smile or and he doesn’t know how to talk to the employees he has run the new store manager off and she has brought that store back to life if I worked for somebody like him I would have cussed him out because he doesn’t know how to talk to his employees and does it in front of the customers they need to fire him and find someone who appreciate there workers store number 7465

Only one single cashier with long lines

I shopped in the Hillsboro Oregon Dollar Tree at 2165 SE TV Highway. There was only one cashier, with 8 people in the line, plus another 5 customers off to the side, behind the other EMPTY cash registers!! I stood and waited about 3 minutes, but the line never moved. The lone cashier never looked up to see how long the line was. I had to walk up to this cashier to tell him that their were 8 people in line behind me plus 5 more behind ALL of the other EMPTY cash registers, and asked if he could please page for a second cashier. He paged for a back up cashier. No one came up to ring on the cash register! The cashier did not even bother to notice that no other cashier came to help. 5 minutes later two other employees walked out by the cash registers, but neither one of them bothered to look up to see what was now over 15 people waiting for a second cashier to open up a second cash register! And neither one of them bothered to call out to the large crowd of customers that they could come over to their cash register to be rung up! They continued to look down, not making any eye contact with customers, at all! I waited another few minutes, and then I finally gave up and left the store - leaving the merchandise in my shopping cart behind! I have shopped at this store before, and they FREQUENTLY have 8 to 10 customers in line with only one cashier. I will not be shopping in this location anymore! This does not happen at the other locations.

BAD ATTITUDE

21330 Kuykendahl, Spring, TX Dollar Tree was the most well-stocked and organized store. Tonight I stopped by for a few items and had to DIG through a plethora of debris to find at least one item. The aisles and shelves are in severe disarray and extremely void of product. Items were falling over onto the floors, resulting in the need to move about cautiously. The checkout process was beyond unprofessional. The sales associate was IGNORANT in her performance, placing the glass mugs in a bag without wrapping them individually. When I asked her to wrap them individually she huffed, set them aside still together in the bag and rang up the remainder of the items. She then wrapped them individually and neglected to rebag them. I had to ask for a bag to complete the process of securing the glass mugs. I waited for a total to be announced before I was able to ring out, so we stood there until she spoke my total. The other employee present was not trying to correct the associates oversight. Where do they hire these people who clearly DO NOT want the job.
