If I could I would give 0 stars asked to rearrange as I was sent to A&e as a emergency no dates been rearranged iv had nothing but problems with my fridge freezer for over a year losing 100s throwing food away as its defrosted!! Yet im paying insurance for what it should be replaced after so many visits the same problem but this isn’t the case im meant to keep paying and losing money and in the process spending money on take away sue to no fridge or freezer to keep stuff fresh!

Ive emailed my complaint to email that you said to. Although I have already emailed your complaints dept and the service watch vulnerable customers email and no one has bothered to respond or call and check in.
I rarely leave negative reviews, but my experience with Domestic & General has been deeply disappointing.
What should have been a straightforward repair became weeks of unnecessary delays after the first engineer carried out only a cursory inspection and incorrectly diagnosed the fault. A second engineer later performed a proper inspection, confirmed the appliance required a new compressor and re-gas, and it was subsequently deemed beyond economical repair and replaced.
Unfortunately, the problems did not end there. The replacement appliance arrived damaged and had to be refused. I was then assured another would be delivered the following day, only to discover by chance, after chasing my complaint, that the delivery had actually been postponed until Monday. No one contacted me to tell me.
The delivery team also removed the doors from my existing fridge before leaving, meaning I was left with no refrigeration at all. As a result, essential refrigerated prescription medication spoiled yet again and had to be replaced for a third time.
To add to my frustration, Domestic & General rejected my complaint despite their own written response containing contradictory findings, stating that the engineer both attended my property and that the visit was recorded as “no access available.”
Throughout this process I have spent countless hours on the telephone, repeatedly chasing updates and correcting errors that should never have occurred. What has disappointed me most is not that things went wrong, but the repeated failures in communication, the poor handling of my complaint and the lack of accountability when those failures became apparent.

I have had the insurance for many years on my appliances and domestic and general have never failed me - I’ve had a replacement fridge , replacement dishwasher over the years - I’m glad to receive my new dishwasher ☺️ the delivery guys were very helpful and efficient
