Experience

Ordering was easy. Customer Service was good. We haven’t put the unit together as of yet, that will happen once we have moved our son into his dorm room. Upon delivery one box was saturated from delivery truck door not sealing properly. I checked the contents everything appeared to be there, we’ll know upon setup. Spacers between shelves were broken, but I believe those are/were for packaging purposes only.

Missing parts

I received the loft legs for my daughters college dorm bed….however we are missing 2 of the metal plates to secure the legs.

I have not opened the boxes yet- fast shipping!

I have not opened the boxes yet as we want to take everything to her dorm in their boxes (easier to move). However, they came faster than I thought they would and ordering process was easy. I wish I found this company sooner.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!
If I could give you negative stars that's what you would be given because that's what has been earned.

Belmont University provided us with DormCo's informaton and it sounded great. We were told that items would be delivered directly to the university and it would be quality items that would fit everything within the dorm room.

WHAT A JOKE!
First, the site is hard to navigate. The pictures DO NOT get bigger so you can't see what you are ordering. The descriptions are a joke. We ordered CLOSE $800 dollars worth of stuff. It was to be shipped to Belmont. Where did it go? To our house!

First, it took 5 times to check-out because the site kept timing out. Now reading other reviews that is common. I finally went to Paypal to check out, because I don't have time to sit and try to wait for a site nor did I want to be charged over and over again. There's no warning saying if you use Paypal it's shipping to your address, but that's what customer service told me. You should figure that out!

The crap that was sent was NOTHING like what was ordered. Additionally, in the shipping note, they don't note all the stuff that appeared to be missing was inside of it. Why would we unpack things that have to be repacked and resent to the university? It was suppose to go to the university! But now, I'm unpacking the box and having to deal with trying to tape everything back together.

The headboard looked nothing like pictured. I asked for a return label. Guess who had to pay for their mistake? Me. I had to ship the headboard back at $110. "They don't pay for return shipping." In fact, I didn't even get that in the request email. I got a link to follow to read the policy. How about answer the question?

The trunk that was sent is NOT THE ONE ORDERED! We ordered a beige/tan trunk. What was sent is pink. My daughter doesn't want a white and blue crystal headboard and pink trunk. Shaking my head. They asked for a photo. I provided several, even going as far as putting a red sweater against it. I got a message of "Oops." Keep or return it. Keep it will give you a 15% off coupon. Are you serious? Why the hell would I want to order something else from you? How about pay to have it shipped back?

Customer service is ZERO HELP!
BIGGEST WASTE OF MONEY, EVER! NICE BUSINESS MODEL DORMCO. NEVER, EVER AGAIN!
