Our family stay at Dormio Nieuwvliet-Bad was truly exceptional! The house with the private pool was absolutely perfect – clean, comfortable, and beautifully designed. The surroundings are magical, peaceful, and ideal for a relaxing getaway. Everything exceeded our expectations, and we’re already looking forward to coming back. Wonderfull location
From the moment we arrived, we felt warmly welcomed by the incredibly friendly receptionist. Our apartment exceeded all expectations: spacious, spotless, and fully equipped. To our surprise, we were even given train tickets valid for the duration of our stay — such a thoughtful extra!
The location is absolutely stunning, right next to a peaceful mountain stream. A welcome package with kitchen essentials and Nespresso coffee pods was waiting for us upon arrival. The bedrooms were spacious, the beds clean and comfortable with high-quality bedding. The bathroom was tidy and well-stocked with towels. Wi-Fi worked perfectly throughout our stay.
The only downside was a constant fan noise in one of the bedrooms, but it was a minor issue compared to everything else.
All in all, a fantastic place where comfort, peace, and hospitality come together. Highly recommended!

We stayed at the hotel from April 26 to May 3. The facilities are great, and the swimming pool and spa were very nice. However, the restaurant kitchen closes too early, which was inconvenient. The beds and pillows were quite uncomfortable, and there was no daily housekeeping service during our stay. The apartment wasn’t very clean—we found spiders, and the air conditioner in one of the bedrooms was leaking water above the wardrobe.

Accommodation was perfect
Accommodation was perfect, lots of space, over complete kitchen. Beds were comfortable, only the head pillows were awful . Location is green and perfect for renting bike or go for walk. Dogs are welcome.

I have a complain to make about the phone operator at reception
I have a complain to make about our staying at the Dormio Resort at Eifeler Tor in Germany.
We had a 2 days staying there under the reservation number 49173 (19/04/2025 - 21/04/2025).
Dear sir/madam,
Firstly I would like to thank you for providing a very nice accommodation, with a the wonderful atmosphere. We really enjoyed staying there and most probably would suggest it to our friends and families.
The only thing that really bothered us was at the beginning where we arrived around at the parking and we tried to call the operator at the parking (on the other side of the road) at 18:35-18:46 Saturday 19/04/2025 at Dormio Resort, at Eifeler Tor Germany. A German speaking man responded and we tried to ask for how to open the parking door but and from what we understood he was just asking whether if we can speak German when we said No he just hanged up on us. We dialled again and he did the same by saying in English too bad then hanged up. It was so shocking to us.
So we understood from the people behind us that we need the card from reception (after check-in) to open the parking door. That wasn't the end of the story, after going for checking we found the reception closed so we called the phone number on the door: +49 24468094959 and then a German speaking man respond and from what we understood he tried to ask whether we speak German too, and the moment we said no, he replied again "too bad" and hanged up again. I did call the number again and I got the exact same response. I called the number twice at 18:57 and 18:55 at front of Eifeler Tor Germany reception door.
We finally managed it by getting help from the kind manager of the bike shop downstair. He spoke to the operator and asked what we should do.
Honestly we found the behaviour of that person so rude, discriminative and racist and felt really offended.
Furthermore, opening the parking door after check-in (via E-card) was a piece of information that we didn't have and could easily be mentioned in the email as part of the check-in instruction together with the closing hours of the reception. If we have that we could manage it better. But still the behaviour of the phone operator was not acceptable and I would like to know his name and contact information to act upon it. Would it be possible to share his detail info?
I asked the reception desk at Eifeler Tor while checking-out but they were not supportive and they said they will manage it. I don't know how they are going to do it because they didn't even asked when it was or who it was. So I assume they don't have any info of the mentioned operator. they have not send me any information regarding follow up on this issue so far.

Amazing family getaway – highly recommended!
We stayed 3 days at Dormio Resort Nieuwvliet-Bad with our family and everything was perfect from start to finish.
The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, the house was spotless and beautifully maintained, and the entire resort was peaceful and well-kept.
Even the on-site restaurant exceeded our expectations – great service, delicious food, and they really listen to your needs.
Everything was super child-friendly too, which made our stay even more enjoyable.
We’ll definitely be coming back and highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a relaxing, high-quality stay by the coast!

Recommended for real skiers!
Great hospitality and care from the staff.
Nice apartments, well prepared when arriving.
Nice wellness.
Skiers told me (I am not one myself), that skiing facilities are very good, with a long and snow sure season.
A place for skiers, rather than après-skiers.
In winter- and summer-season good (and free) bus- transportation to the village and the piste.
Road up the mountain is a bit of a challenge for a Dutchman.

Nice clean accommodation
Lovely spacious clean accommodation. Fine swimming pool with water slide. There is also a children's pool with slide.
Had a nice lunch at the restaurant. We also hired an electric cargo bike and bicycle with a nice cycling route included.
