Comfy Chair

Helpful friendly service in store without being pushy.
Delivery and purchase was made over the phone by Helpful assistant.

Great customer care and service

We were really pleased with the buying of our G-Plan sofa and chair, from the initial chats with the sales assistants to the delivery and set-up.
There was no hard sell and all our needs, and wants, were considered. The sales assistants were genuine, extremely personable, and knowledgeable about the products in their department.
The delivery men were polite, friendly, and took great care with installing our purchases.

Best customer service ever!!

Literally one of, if not the, best customer service I have ever experienced. Personable, understanding and efficient. Had an issue with a product I purchased online. Could easily speak to a person, they were so friendly and helpful and my issue was resolved quickly. Highly recommend.

Wouldn't shop here again

Wouldn't shop here again, we were not informed that they would only deliver to our area on a certain day, only found this out when delivery was being arranged. They suggested I leave the garden open, as if you would when it is furniture being delivered!!! After having to rearrange work to accommodate their delivery date, was informed by the man in the delivery department that if I was unable the accept the delivery the following week it would go back to the warehouse and I would have to wait another 8 weeks, we had already waited 10 weeks, he also said it was nothing to do with him and I would have to speak to the sales team if I'm unhappy! So very helpful of him. My suggestion would be to checkout their delivery date prior to placing any orders or you could always go where customer service is still valued.

Price match Mattress

We chose a Mattress in store but ordered it online a couple of weeks later with a price match promise.
Our dealings with Tracey were first rate and she sorted delivery at a convenient time for us. We were kept updated of timings and the delivery was made efficiently at the allotted time.
Wouldn’t hesitate to use Downtown again.

New settee

I am so pleased with my Parker Knoll Harriet sofa. The delivery drivers were excellent, so careful and quick and were on time. I give this review 4 stars because of the confusion with the fabric finish which occurred after the order had been placed resulting in contact with Parker Knoll. If the manufacturer had not queried the order my sofa seats and cushions would have been made up in the wrong fabric. At the time of placing my order in store the assistants said they had experienced problems with this before. I suspect it's the codes bring input into the computer. These should be checked out and problems raised with Parker Knoll to avoid someone in the future being disappointed.

Went into Oldrids at Boston to look at…

Went into Oldrids at Boston to look at mattresses. Thea came over and asked if we needed any help. We said just looking. She didn't push and left us to it. After a while she came over and asked if we had any questions. Not too pushy, just right. She was very knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. Very rare nowadays and something the great internet and Ai cannot do!

It was an absolute pleasure and Oldrids you need to keep this lady.
