Absolutely awful

Absolutely awful, atrocious!
one attempt at delivery, spoke with the delivery driver via CCTV system advising him we were not at home.
He just walked off and the parcel was returned by to Costco!
No attempt at redelivery, no explanation, unable to speak to anyone from DPD via email, phone, DPD, no web chat, nothing.
Worst delivery company ever.

I give DPD minus 10 - **********
They delivered 2 large boxes to my house that were meant for a former occupant I told them I had lived here for 5 years and the former occupant had moved to the North East of England but I had no longer a forwarding address. the delivery man asked "WHAT SHALL I DO?"
I look in amazement and told him to take them back, which he did. he then handed me a DPD SLIP (which I should never have accepted) SAYING THEY HAD TRIED TO DELIVER MY PARCEL? then disappeared with the parcels.
Today I went for lunch with my granddaughter and when I returned GUESS WHAT? yes there was the same fecking boxes brought back and left by my bin.

DPD I have enough today dealing with idiots. YOUR RESPONSIBILITY END OF, BOXES are now outside my gate ready for your collection or the bin mans, not my problem.
THE CALLING CARD NO THE IDIOT LEFT ME IS 11393634 .

I believe that DPD need to look into a…

I believe that DPD need to look into a problem they have.I ordered swimwear, the company sent me a code for returns.DPD were to print the label but after going to three DPD drop offs .I was told that DPD had them down to be able to print a label but unfortunately had not supplied them with a printer for this to happen.It was only on the fourth drop off shop that I had success .I was travelling around trying to find a DPD shop for about a hour wasting diesel and time.Please DPD give these drop off shops the printer.
DPD what have you to say on this matter?I notice that customer service has not the decency to give a reply.

Wasn't a good company not anymore evri…

Was once a good company not anymore evri are the best .I waited in all day for a parcel collection and I saw on my cctv driver quickly run to door posted a card and shot of .by the time I got down stairs she was gone .dredfull company

Can’t find address and customer services non existent

Waited in twice for a delivery but they ‘missed’ me and on their second attempt sent a photo of an address that’s not mine - when I tried the app and telephone service end in a loop where you can only rearrange delivery or allot a safe place or a neighbour - which I can’t do as the driver is trying to deliver to an incorrect location so now I’ll have to collect a parcel I paid delivery for

Awful service, terrible communication, long and expensive delivery

I specified that I wanted my package to be delivered to a specific pick up point.
I got a notification that my package was delivered, so I went to that pick up point, only to learn from the staff that it is not there and it was delivered to the opposite site of the village mote than half an hour away from me. I wasn't even notified about the change. Nobody called me or messaged. I only got a message about the change 2 days after. How "useful"..

Awful service, terrible communication, misinformation and expensive delivery. I wouldn't choose DPD if I had other options with that particular shop. They are notoriously bad in France.

Delivery attempted at the wrong address

I made sure I was at home during the delivery time slot because I wanted these items as soon as possible. However, neither of the two deliveries was ever attempted at my address.

When I checked my emails, I was surprised to see notifications stating that delivery had been attempted and that I had been missed. This was shocking, as no attempt had been made. I then noticed that the photo provided as proof of the delivery attempt was actually of my neighbour’s property, not my own.

As a result, I had to rearrange my plans for the following day to ensure I was at home again to receive my items.

I contacted customer service via the chat function to express my frustration about the mistake and explain how it had affected both my plans and me financially. The advisor reassured me that the driver would be spoken to and that the same mistake would not happen again. When I asked what would be done regarding my complaint, I was simply given the same response.

This was extremely disappointing. The company claims to value its customers, and the advisor repeatedly stated that they do, but their actions suggest otherwise. It’s easy to say customers are valued, but actions speak louder than words.

No effort was made to restore my confidence in the service or to resolve the inconvenience caused. I lost both time and money because of their mistake, yet they seemed to believe that a promise it “won’t happen again” was an adequate resolution. That simply isn’t good enough.

Delivered a £300 item to someone else

Delivered a £300 item to someone else! The so called proof of delivery showed someone else's door. The recorded message on tracking claimed I had signed for the parcel - NOT TRUE! I rang to complain and as soon as I said my parcel hadnt been delivered and the picture of the door wasnt mine I was cut off. I rang the next morning and I was told they would look into it. I asked for updates but havent received any. I contacted Argos the sender and they havent been any better. Luckily the very honest person who found my parcel on their doorstep, outside not in any sort of safe place, has now brought the parcel to me; they had no problem reading the address or finding it. This is the 3rd problem with DPD in 2 weeks, 1 for a delivery that wasnt mine and then trying to collect said delivery from a neighbour, again showing picture of someone elses property and claiming the parcel wasnt ready. Im going to ask companies which courier they use before I buy in future and if its DPD then I will buy elsewhere.

Terrible service

Terrible service. Usman never even came into my street.
Paid for next day delivery and the driver didn’t even turn up and attempt to deliver. Got an email to say “we missed you”
No care as no penalty for them.

Shocking experience.
No wonder their average is 3 stars.

Useless. As always.

I have standing instructions to leave items in my porch if not home. On this occasion I was also home, yet the boxes were just dumped in my drive. This was pet food, dumped outside in 30 degree heat. When you select I have a complaint- nothing! Clearly couldn’t give a toss what their drivers do. It’s not the first time. It’s every time.

Poor service

This company should have done pick up today the gave me a hour slot ? 2 mins into the slot they said that they couldn’t pick up and took a pick of were they supposed to have picked up from ! Lucky I’ve got CCTV ? No one came so I contacted them and they said that they tracked his root and he never came anywhere my property ?? Now there trying to get him to come back and pick up ! So I’ve got to wait on either a call from head office or from the driver 😡 this is not the first time this is happening Why do these people employed idiots and layers there plenty of good people out there looking for work ! If they deducted it out of there wages I bet they would do there job properly

I would give 0 stars if I could

I would give 0 stars if I could. Payed for next day delivery 6 days ago. Parcel was delayed at Birmingham, was told it was out for delivery on Thursday, 10 mins before it's due to be delivered, I get a notification saying sorry we missed you, with a picture that the driver has clearly jusg taken of something in his van, no delivery was attempted, then again today, was due for delivery between 5 and 6pm, it's now 7pm and just had a notification again to say, sorry we missed you, are you actually for real? What an absolute joke!! I have 24hour cctv to PROVE no delivery has been attempted on either day. I will be submitting a formal complaint and the drivers will be held accountable for their actions, breaching company policy multiple times. If this gets read, please leave an email address for where I can speak to someone regarding this. Our local driver is LUKE and CIPRIAN DUMITRU out of the YORK depot. What a joke of a company. Dpd have been here multiple times so it's not like they don't know where the address is. As said above, the drivers will be made to be held accountable for their actions unfortunately.

Hopeless again

Hopeless again. Delivered to totally the wrong address - no idea where the parcel is!
I am going to start asking suppliers, which couriers they use and if they se DPD I will go somewhere else.

Driver didn't even approach my door…

Driver didn't even approach my door (the joys of a ring doorbell) or visit my neighbour who had their door open all day. Two hours later when the finally posted a photo of the door the "attempted" deliver to it wasn't my house or any in the area - even worse the bin next to the door had 109 on it, my house number only has 2 digits. Maybe they got the calling card...

I'm guessing it was either never loaded into the van or the diversion in place due to a road closure was off route going to mess with the schedule.

The less said about the unhelpful AI chat bot the better!

Amazing company

Amazing company. Options to select a neighbour when the item is en route if you can’t be there for the allotted delivery time.
Good notification of when arriving, message when they are on their way. Driver Adam is excellent, professional and handles packages well. Happy with service. Know if it’s coming via DPD I don’t need to worry (unlike some other companies that deliver to random locations!)
