Customer service the worst in the UK
Worst company to deal with. Avoid! They'll lie about everything and also even go as far as causing you mental distress.
Do not use DPD for international shipment
It is horrible service with DPD. My parcel from Austria to UK and currently undergoing custom clearance in France since 25/03/2022.still no any updated information,I have no idea what is happen.
DPD are truly THE worst parcel service…
DPD are truly THE worst parcel service on the planet bar none. My current parcel from UK to Austria hasn't moved in 19 days.
DO NOT USE DPD.
yet again, poor service, lies and no support
second day in a row with no real attempt to deliver - just a photo of a junction a mile away - absolutely the most usleless dishonest company in parcel deliveries with zero customer service support. I will not only be boycotting DPD but any company that only offers them for delivery as is a waste of time trying with them
Lies and contempt. Unprofessional. Patronising. Awful customer service
Not even a one star.
Driver came, took a picture of the door walking up the drive stuck a card in the door and went. Got a text saying we missed you. Didn't knock door or ring bell or call me. Three options there and did none. Then i messaged customer service and after a battle got a manager who promised id get it today at 3.. chased and chased 4 people said dont worry itll be there today. Surprise i chase again and its back at the depot and nobody can get hold of anyone. They then offered to 'VIP deliver' it on Monday! When its due out again sunday. They then advised me to sort it out with the sender and get them to raise a complaint! Wated a while day! Customer service just try and get rid of you and literally tell lies. Absolutely awful and enfuriating experience of laziness and lies
Im absolutely disgusted and outraged by these clowns.
I lost a days wages because of these absolute... I don't even have the words for the utter contempt i have been treated with..
Joke after joke. DPD do you read these? What about my wages? What about the lies? What about empty promises and shocking internal communication. No one knew what was going on and nobody can contact anyone else.
Can't even go to the depot to get it due to COVID but all of the measures have finished?!!!
Cant even
They said they arrived and had nothing…
They said they arrived and had nothing to collect. I was on the doorstep. Nobody arrived. 2nd time it has happened.
Here we go again
Here we go again ! Nobody knocked on my door nor did they ring the bell before deciding to deliver the parcel to my neighbour. No card was left. All I ever get when I call is we will deal with this internally.
Dpd is rubbish
Dpd is rubbish. I sent a package from the uk to italy, it got stuck in hesingue for 10 EUROS customs payment as they said they couldn't contact the recipient. I knew nothing about it so what's the point in providing sender's details when there are issues like this? It will now get all the way back to the Uk, hoping it arrives in one piece. I will never use their service again.
Zero star service
I was due to have a delivery through DPD yesterday. Driver arrived and l asked him if he could deliver to the side gate because the house has been subject to a criminal attack and we cannot open or use the front door. So l'm in the garden, driver the other side of the garden gate and he refuses to deliver the parcel although l'm standing right in front of him. So he says it will be delivered on Monday which will be too late, takes the parcel, goes over my neighbours property as he parked outside their house, puts parcel in the van and after l finally get his name and told him l would be complaining about the disgraceful service, drives off.
I spoke to the online chat facility which was totally useless and dropped the connection numerous times so called the call centre twice as the call was dropped ... again. As a result l could'nt speak to the original advisor dealing with my enquiry so had to repeat myself .. again. They said the driver had told them he had followed procedure (he had'nt as he had'nt even tried to deliver to a neighbour but just stormed off) and that the parcel could'nt be redelivered on that day but Monday, however they needed a picture of it in the open door. I told them that would not be possible until there was a new front door fitted and that we wern't able to gain access to the house this way. I cannot drive at the moment so can't get to a drop point, which was also suggested, and requested the parcel was returned to sender as Monday would be too late, the goods were needed on Sunday. This was agreed by the central call centre and l was told our local Depot also. Great, all sorted or so l thought.
This morning l get a text saying the parcel will be delivered today. I try the online chat again and the connection gets dropped 5 times so l'm repeating myself again and again and again saying it was agreed by the call centre that the parcel was to be returned to sender and can they confirm that. Total silence the other end.
In the end, as l can't return the parcel to the sender myself as it is out of our delivery area, l have asked for it to be delivered to a dropshop hoping that forces the return l requested and was agreed yesterday.
DPD did not listen at all or action what the call centre agreed. Totally terrible serice from this national company on all levels that deserves zero stars.
I stopped using transglobal express and…
I stopped using transglobal express and DPD after they lost a parcel a year ago.
They were more competitive on a larger parcel ( a child's bike) so I tried them again but this again was lost. (TP-4125534)
Use UPS as much better prices and they don't lose parcels.
Search "UPS small business" on google as not aloud to post a link. 70kg from £7.99 the UK next day
Useless when driver goes to wrong address
Message to say "Oh no we missed you" and a photo of a neighbours front door. Chat and phone service useless as they say that tracking shows that the driver was in our area. Well yes, about 100 yards away. Still not our address. No idea how we are supposed to stop this happening when they try to deliver on Monday. Flaming useless,
Awful - states delivered but not
Awful
My parcel from Sky was marked as delivered with a photo of an unknown person and my name spelled incorrectly
DPD will do nothing and told me to contact Sky who have told me to contact DPD
We should know who will deliver when we have online deliveries - Or at least get a choice
PS I took the day off work so I was in to receive the parcel so very annoyed
Do not use dpd are rubbish
Worst service ever driver did not deliver between times stated got a email of a photo showing a different address not mine called customer service was told I would get a call back within a hour no phone call surprise surprise called back was told they tried to call me total rubbish and lies as my number had been made clear was also told the driver had now finished for the day not the first time this has happened dpd last time the driver was knocking on the wrong door luckily I saw him outside and and rushed out and stopped him driving away the parcel clearly had my correct door number on it come on dpd do what your paid to do deliver the parcels
Unbelievably useless service....don't bother
My son paid extra to send a large parcel on the 18th December (we live 270 miles apart)...Its now the 28th and no parcel. He tracked it to a depot about 20 miles away on the 20th but it hasn't moved since then. My son is a craftsman so this will be a unique hand made and therefore irreplaceable item.
In contrast I ordered a gift from Australia which arrived in 6 days including clearing customs. The difference...FedEex. My own parcel posted on the 18th with Parcel force arrived on the 21st.
Just don't use DPD ...Its not cheaper if your parcel never makes it.
There is no complaints service and no comeback.
Said delivery between 11 & 12
Said delivery between 11 & 12, we’re at home self isolating. Then a message saying sorry they missed us no one came. Phoned dpd who confirmed the drivers gps was never at my house and they would get them to re-deliver which they sent me via email as well. Just another lie from dpd this morning I have a message telling me to collect from a pick up point. 1. Were isolating 2. We paid for delivery not collection.
Phoned dpd who said there’s nothing they can do once at collection point. Well I think there is, get the lazy courier who lied about delivery to pick it up and deliver it like he was meant to in the first place! Not inconvenience customers especially when they’ve paid for delivery and can’t leave the house. I don’t care if I’ve got 7 days to collect it that’s not what I paid for.
What a truly awful company! I will never buy from a company who use you for delivery in the future
At 10pm they sent me a text message
At 10pm they sent me a text message. That they missed me. At 10pm , everyone at home. Bloody dodgy company. They want me to pay two pound for redelivery.
Duplicate accounts hide the real story
DPD used to be the best of the couriers.. they'd be reliable and timed delivery often meant they would wait in the road until they were allowed to deliver within the precise hour scheduled.
BUT I have had 2 or 3 deliveries that have failed to arrive, that have shown manipulated and falsified tracking data and the parcel is unrecoverable... so I have to order again. I now learn this is because DPD sub contracts to Hermes (the worst delivery company in the UK). So it suddenly explains why the excuses for delivery failure were abnormal for DPD but exactly the tricks the Hermes drivers play to get their fee.
Note: Trustpilot don't merge accounts for the same company. DPD Group have 5 star reviews whereas this account has primarily 1 star reviews. Why are these not merged if they are the same company? Or is it a way to manipulate the reviews by having all the invited good reviews separate from the bad? I know which star rating I'd publish on my advertising!
Dreadful service
Dreadful service
I purchased goods online and the company sent them through DPD.
I paid the extra for next day delivery.
I received a text to say the delivery would be made between 9am and 10am.
At 9.30 the DPD van pulled onto my drive, the driver climbed into the back of the van and started rummaging through the parcels. after 10 minutes the driver returned to the front of the vehicle and drove off. My tracking was then updated to 'driver unable to locate the property'
I contacted DPD customer service and explained what had happened. I was told I must be mistaken as the driver had not been to my property as he couldn't find it. I explained that I had the driver on cctv for just over 10 mins on my drive, I was told I must be mistaken as the driver was unable to locate my property.
STILL WAITING FOR MY EXPRESS DELIVERY!.
I Believe DPD Group Fails To Respect Customers Or Honesty.
Is This Food Or Should It Be Relabelled Herds & Spices .…
At the start of lock down my wife and I decided to go on Jane Plan at a cost of £400 after 2 days on the plan we were both extremely disappointed with the food. The main ingredient of each meal was non existent and all we were eating was herbs and spices we were disgusted. We later found out that these meals could have been in storage for over 18 months. We requested a refund and was made liable to return the meals to a address given by Jane Plan but I believe was partially correct. I instructed DPD group to pick up and deliver to Jane Plan warehouse, this is the delivery group used by Jane Plan. Un beknown to me the address was incorrect and DPD group return labels were wrong so all was lost. Jane plan instructed eventually to stop searching for the packages. I placed a claim on DPD Group and after a lot of correspondence the Executive office of DPD Group advised that the claim would not paid as they do not transport food, this is ironic as they delivered the food to us and are the prime delivery contractor to Jane Plan. As OAPs we lost over £400 and no one really cared. The food was disgusting , the service was reasonable but I have to question that but my pockets remained empty.
DPD the worst !!!!!! UPS the BEST !!!
