Dominic have been extremely helpful and explained the procedure in a very clear and detailed way. It took less than a day to respond to my questions. Which was really helpful.

I feel really let down by this company.I signed up to do CIPD level 5,despite never going to university and not studying for quite some time. After reading reviews and speaking to one of their advisors i felt assured I could do it through DPG.After 6 months of studying I had not once heard from a tutor. After paying all that money you would expect someone to be checking in regularly to see what progress you've made and if you need any support. The website and uploading assignments was also not easy to follow,my sister who has worked in IT who I had to ask for help even said so.When I made the decision to stop doing the course( if you work full time 1 year is not enough time to complete this) I rang DPG and didn't even get asked why I was quitting and could they do anything to help.Overall a very disappointing experience, they just want the money.

Roddy at DPG was brilliant in assisting me with my enrolment in the CIPD Level 5 course. Roddy was fantastic in helping me in initiating the process. He provided me with the necessary information and next steps, and he made the process simple and straightforward. Thank you!

Started my CIPD level 5 in November 2022. Every single assignment submitted is never passed so students will never be able to complete their courses within the year. I had to extend my course once already. To note, I work as HR professional since 3 years now so the majority of the topics are my bread and butter. On June 25th I submitted my 5th assignment in order to meet the deadline for assignment changeover (30th June); it took a week for it not to be marked but only comment I had was that I had gone over my word count allowance therefore my assessment could not be marked. Wrong. I contacted the support which released the assignment for me to make changes, not what I asked for tho, I was a number of words down (double and triple checked). I have been asked to contact my tutor. After 3 days I have been forwarded a message from the marker APOLOGISING as she ASSUMED I didn’t include a table into my word count. She didn’t even bother to check. Unacceptable. I have been then requested to resubmit, which I did on the day. After one more week the assignment is marked with 12 fails over 15 acs with totally vague and incomplete feedback, sometimes wrong (on a specific ac I have been asked to talk about overtime, which is clearly mentioned in my answer!).
I requested the assignment to be reviewed by a different marker and the deadline to be extended as I have wasted a week waiting for a mistake made at their end. The final deadline is 31st of July and I have a full time non remote job. Haven’t heard from anyone.
On a more generic note, tutors usually avoid to directly answer to questions, they usual answer you get is a copy paste of guidelines or ‘attaching the pdf guidelines for you’; it takes forever to get an answer anyways.
I am utterly shocked by the service provided which is causing me a lot of stress and discouragement.

Started my CIPD Level 5 July last year. After a few months the learning platform changed to a new one - the new one is awful, information is not that helpful and key information missing. Following the switch, I noticed by first assignment which I had passed is showing as not submitted, when I queried this I was told the marker had deleted my feedback sheet so couldn't help. Thankfully the QA team have notes I have passed, but if they didn't I wonder what would happen.
In June I submitted an assignment (whilst caring for my newborn baby); within a few hours I'd had feedback returned to say the marker had only marked two of the questions and refused to mark the rest due to my referencing. This is unacceptable; I dont expect to spend days and days writing an assignment with a 2 week old baby only to receive no marking feedback sheet as I should have. Surely the least they can do when marking an assignment is to read the whole essay and provide feedback on the marking criteria, not just the referencing. I submitted it for re-marking and was told it would be done urgently, almost 3 weeks later I'm still waiting for this to happen. I've chased by phone and by email 4 times and still nothing. I today have received an email to say they have reverted this unit so I can make changes to it - this is not what I asked, and I fear this will cause a further delay to it being re-marked and I will miss the submission deadline date of end of July.
For another unit last week I submitted 2 queries to my tutor, 4 working days later I've not had a reply (SLA is 2 working days) and again have chased multiple times with no luck. Today I got an email to say they have asked for this assignment to be re-marked - again, not what I requested to happen! Clearly they've got confused with my requests for each unit. Again the deadline for this assignment is end of July and is causing delays to me re-submitting.
This is causing me a lot of frustration and stress, especially when trying to care for my newborn (which DPG are aware of). I feel completely ignored. Maybe DPG should realise that HR professionals often decide what learning providers their workplace use, I definitely won't be using them in my organisation due to the terrible service I am receiving.
I'd be grateful if someone can contact me to discuss my complaint who will actually listen to me and take action to resolve the issues.

I signed up for CIPD level 5 back in November 2023. I have submitted several drafts and get poor feedback like they don't want to bother. Communication is awful. I made the changes they requested back in May, submitted assessment on 10th May and still by 10th June it was not marked. I chased and chased, all to be told that the assessment did not have a word document on the front sheet, however I was never informed or emailed to say this. Everything has just been extremely frustrating. I changed my bank details back in April and now they have said I have defaulted on my direct debit? this company is unreal, the platform in my opinion is not user friendly, the people aren't particularly friendly and give poor advice and feedback. Bitterly disappointing as I have worked really hard on my assignments all for them to keep saying something is wrong with them. Not 1 has been marked yet. Called them - no reply, you have to leave your name and number for them to call you back. Pointless and a sheer waste of time and money.

I have recently completed my L7 CIPD with DPG (May 2024).
Overall I was disappointed by the lack of support from DPG, no one at any point contacted me throughout my whole 2 year course to ask how I was getting on or if I needed support with any modules.
When I did ask for a call with them very early on in my course, it was ignored and a quick response given to me over message instead. I feel as though for the cost of this course (over £6,000) which I self funded, there should be more support offered.
I also had to wait 6 weeks for one of my assessments to be marked when the timeline is 15 working days. When following up with DPG weekly I was told the same thing each week that they would mark as soon as possible. However, they did give me a 6 week extension to make up for this.
The resources within the portal are good and supported me throughout the course.
Communication is the main thing I recommend should be improved.

I recently commenced my CIPD Level 3 course at the beginning of this month, and I'm grateful for my company's generousity in sponsoring it.
During the process of obtaining the invoice, I had to make multiple inquiries, and Dominic from the student services department handled the situation with exceptional professionalism and kindness. He addressed my concerns promptly and demonstrated remarkable courtesy throughout our telephone conversations. I extend my sincere appreciation for the outstanding service you provide.
