Lying Driver

I have used Dragon on all occasions I've visited Cardiff with no issues. I pre-booked a taxi from the Easyhotel for 0750. App starts telling driver is on their way at 0744 yet doesn't move for ages. I keep checking behind the hotel and nothing. He eventually shows up 0758 and tells me he had been waiting behind the hotel which is lies as I had checked. He proceeded to comment about the number of bags I had. Driver then wouldn't take me to the requested drop off location (Cardiff Central platform 0) saying it would "cost more" even though I said that was fine I wanted platform 0. I then had a long walk with luggage to where I wanted to be dropped off. Driver persistently telling me about his allergies. Very unprofessional

POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE

Prebooked weeks in advance & let down. Told didn't have a booking but obviously did as I was collected for the outward journey.
Called to check where taxi was & greeted by VERY rude person who said no booking made despite me having it clearly displayed on the app.

Another typical no show from Dragon…

Another typical no show from Dragon Taxis.

We booked a taxi and were assured that one was on its way in plenty of time for us to catch a train. Not for the first time, they simply didn't turn up and the staff were not interested. Jackson Taxis all the way from now on.

Farcical

Too many bad things to explain here. An absolute shambles. Only book if you have absolutely no choice and even then consider walking instead.

Airport Transfer

Airport Transfer; 30 mins late - company thought they should alter the time I wanted to book my taxi home without consulting me first. Left waiting at 2 am. If I book a taxi for 130, I clearly would expect a taxi around 130.....

The driver was rude, driving was questionable.

When we arrived home, direct from the airport to the front door, 1 drop off, the driver was adamant about an increase in taxi prices, an additional £20 was added to the bill!!!! We had paid £76 4 days earlier for the same journey in reverse.
I was certainly not going to pay the additional £20, so I called the office and the lady there confirmed it should have been £86. Absolutely insane. Begrudgingly we paid, the driver made it clear he wasn't going anyway. Bully tactics, praying on the vulnerable and an absolute scandal!

Awful

Awful, irresponsible and untrustworthy company.
We tried to book a taxi with wheelchair accessibility over a week ago and we were told that you couldn’t book and ‘just us to try booking on the day’. We called this morning to try and book a taxi for 2pm and we were told there were plenty of cabs working that could accommodate us. We were then told they would arrive in 30-40mins. After not showing up at the allocated time we called back to be told that the taxi ‘had been cancelled’ ?? We were assured another one would turn up in 10 mins… 20 mins later we rang again and were told by a different operator that he ‘didn’t know why we were told one was on the way in the first place because there were no drivers working who had wheelchair accessibility today’. They were unapologetic and completely unbothered by how incredibly upset we were. We had to cancel our plans to take a friend on a day trip out of hospital that they had been looking forward to. Absolutely appalled by their actions and more so for how unapologetic they were. After speaking to others on the same hospital ward they seem to consistently not turn up for wheelchair users. Disgusting company.

Price change/awful driver

Absolutely awful driver, seemed ok until he called the lady who took the booking a liar! I was quoted one price hit in the taxi and it was different, after he called the office because I questioned it the price then changed again!
I was then called liar and then he huffed and puffed because he had to wait for the payment to go through, though it took seconds! Rude, zero manners and no patience! I am no liar I quoted what I was told on the phone by a member of staff so how am I a liar!! Never again and I will be reporting this to the local council.

Call from driver to cancel booking and take private fare with him for more money in cash.

I complained over the phone last night and was told to send a message via the feedback form. But that feedback form is impossible to access. It doesn't work.

I used the app to book a taxi in Cardiff last night. The journey was quoted as estimated £35.
I paid and had the notification that money would be held until journey completed.

The app notified me that the driver Fohad Ahmed was on the way. Number plate A21 CGS.
The driver called me and asked could I pay by cash. I said no, because the app was already holding my money. He told me to cancel the journey on the app as Dragon charges a £15% premium.
I asked how much is the journey really then? He asked where I was going. I informed him and he said I can take you there for £50. I said no, the app had quoted less. He said the app wasn't working and the payment won't go through. I sadi no, I am not paying more and I was calling Dragon to let them know what had happened. I did that and the operator apologised and rebooked me a taxi. He said £35 was the fare.
The operator checked the app and said the fare had not been accepted by a driver.
Well I screen shot the details and the driver made the call from your number.

Dreadful

Dreadful. Was going to pick up my car. Told me it would be 20 mins despite them knowing most of their drivers would refuse the fare because I’m rural. Waited almost an hour. I could have walked there in that time. They also make you prepay, so I couldn’t cancel
Will never use again
Note: my driver was lovely, it was not his fault at all.

Could not fault a thing!!

I am horrified at the reviews I have just read! A taxi was booked for us by a breakdown company because our car had just been towed into their yard and we were car-less.
The taxi driver arrived very quickly and helped us to unload a tremendous amount of holiday luggage from our car to his taxi (even a vacuum cleaner!!)

Aniset was a brilliant driver throughout the 2 hour journey to our home, extremely polite, courteous, kind and helpful.

Cannot fault our experience. Thank you Aniset!

Booked for a minibus for 7 people

Booked for a minibus for 7 people, six days before the event. They sent one taxi, driver had no idea what was going on or if another taxi was being sent. Rang Dragon Taxi's, the person said they were very busy, didn't acknowledge the fact that I had pre booked for seven people, obviously he didn't know what was going on either! Needless to say didn't book a return with them and will not be using them again. Advise you to avoid, they are not capable of fulfilling their obligations

AVOID AVOID AVOID!!!
I pre booked a taxi 2 weeks in advance for my birthday meal and on the night, I waited 10 minutes after it was meant to arrive and called them. I was told "we are busy, we will dispatch a car soon". I waited another 10 minutes (now 20 minutes late) and called back only to be told the same thing. I waited a further 10 minutes (now 30 minutes late) and they cancelled my booking as no cars were avaliable. I was then late for my resturant booking and added undue stress to my pre booked / pre planned birthday.
I will never attempt to use these again.

Most appalling unprofessional lying…

Most appalling unprofessional lying company. Left two females unsafe over a hour and a quarter with saying every time they called taxi was 1 minute away. Load of rubbish it never came. Had to call a family member to come and get us despite pre booking and paying 4 days previous. They have no conscience no ethics no integrity. I will never use them again. Outrageous.

Avoid at all costs

Booked 3x 7 seat mini buses to meet a flight crew of 11 at 0145. Two standard cars turned up despite me confirming the booking a couple hours before! The operator totally useless and non English speaking. Could not make him understand the problem. He kept saying 3 passengers with 11 luggage!!!!
Return journey this morning. Spoke to their non English speaking office again and told them the issues last night. Told me they would send 4 taxis this morning to collect the flight crew. Instead 3 turned up and was told another would be 20-30 minutes!!!!!
Avoid using this company unless you are fluent in Indian or Pakistani

Don’t pre pay

I booked an early morning taxi (1am) from a wedding, two taxis were booked separately and in different names, and both prepaid. There were 8 people in total. The other group we were with rang at 1.05 to ask where the taxi was and was told they had found his booking but they had no taxis and would have to wait another hour to be picked up. Then he asked about my taxi ( also prepaid) and they said they had no record of my booking, when I rang them myself to ask about my taxi they told me the same but also said they had no record of my phone number, I said that they had sent me a txt message that I had to use to pay for the taxi and they hung up on me, we had to get my sister out of bed at 2 am to make two trips to take us all home. The booking cost me £25.05 and I am having trouble getting a refund. Poor customer service all round, if I didn’t have to press on a star to write a review they wouldn’t have had any.

Never use dragon

They were awfully booked taxi for 7 then the taxi was not out side my house then when I spike to the driver he was very rude then when I had given him directions to the house he hung up then when I rang the office he had canceled the taxi because he had to drive around the corner awful will never use them again and tell everyone to use some one else our walk as it is better pity the driver didn't turn up so I could have told him this awful awful not the people in the office fault but the driver need an attitude check

booked a taxi which had a 20min wait when it came to the estimated time i called and asked how long they then turned around and said they would be about 15-20 mins and then had the cheek to call and made out i made a booking for half 7 which was untrue and said they didnt have any drivers baring mind i had my toddler with me it was windy and pouring down with rain. absolutley ridiculous

Courteous drivers

I ordered a taxi for 6 of us to travel from St Mellons to Earl Haig club Whitchurch via the app there and back. Both drivers were extremely helpful and patient. We are a group of pensioners with some mobility issues and so mot as fast as we used to be!! Thank you to both drivers for being so helpful ensuring we were all comfortable which did take some time. They didn't start the fare click until we were all settled so a big thank you. We look forward to using Dragon taxis again in the future.
