I can't fault the process up until the point of sale. After the sale, I had to do considerable chasing and was always needing to be proactive. There wasn't any proactivity with comms on the pa... See more

Was an excellent salesman
Never did he pressure me into buying a car .
Gave great advice and service
Excellent deal all round.
I bought a Corsa E, a 1-year-old demo from Drive Vauxhall Nuneaton, with a part exchange for my VW Polo GTI coming up to 3 years old. As the valuation of my Polo was higher that the Corsa E I received a payment of £4.2K as well as the Corsa. Love the new Corsa!
I had a great experience at Drive…
I had a great experience at Drive Vauxhall Weston Super Mare. Everything I required in a car was noted along with the budget I had. I was very happy that I wasn't being pushed to buy to something I couldn't afford.
I worked with Connor Campbell throughout the purchase and felt very informed in all options I had. Overall great experience and would recommend to others.
Looks like our problem with smelly car…
Looks like our problem with smelly car being sorted. My husband went back to see the Manager at Redcar he was more amenable this time and he is looking to find us an alternative car. Will review again when this happens .
Nuneaton Branch
Purchased an MG ZS back in June 25. This is a 71 plate, 1.0 litre manual. Only done just under 11k miles at the time. Only done just under 17k now.
Originally I decided I didn't want to go through with the swap due to the reliability of the car. I was then called and talked into making the purchase explaining how reliable they are and that the warranty is great. Went ahead as needed a bigger car as had a 1 year old at the time.
Firstly the warranty after 36 months old may as well be non existent.
Upon picking up the car, the steering clicks/cracks - they immediately booked it back in to check and advised that this is just a quirk/characteristic of the car... to this day it still does this.
Small issue, parcel shelf was damaged and was told would be replaced by pick up.. it wasn't.
Had it's MOT and service, coil springs are corroded and rusty.
Prior to me getting the car I can see it had it's MOT done and failed as one of the shock absorbers were leaking.
The passenger side mirror keeps getting stuck and when locking the car, isn't closing by itself. I then have to manually reset it. The rear camera is now also flickering with black streaks across it.
Now the big one, two mornings ago, the engine light has now come on.
I'm really not satisfied with the vehicle or the service and believe I was led to purchase a car that isn't safe and I worry for the safety of myself, my partner and my toddler.
In addition to this, hill start assist, traction, and stop start faults are now coming on
I've sent a complaint to Drive Direct as well as my finance company in hopes we can sort this.
Thank you
**UPDATE**
Called on Saturday, told I'd be called back Monday as urgent.
Chased them and manager is in a meeting so waiting again until Midday
Spoken to the general manager yesterday who has told me he would like to resolve this amicably. Will update once I have further info, up to a 2 star as they are actively trying to assist currently
**UPDATE** 13/04/26
They've tried to do me a deal on a part exchange, finance company have come back wanting nearly £500 a month or I'd need to put 2.5k up front. I'm at a loss now, with no idea what to do. I've tried calling and emailing with no reply back.
It's been over a week now without a car. We have a 2 year old and commitments and I just don't know what to do.
**Update 06/05/2026**
We were looking at part exing the car due to the issues and unreliability but due to the negative equity on my finance agreement we've been declined.
We're being penalised for having an unreliable car through no fault of our own.
looks like we'll have the MG repaired and get the vehicle back... awful awful awful
Mis-sold. Unsuitable dealer to use.
Mis-sold.
Constant chasing.
Have not received the goods I paid for.
Am now going to go through credit card company to obtain monies back.
As well as unexpected costs they carried on driving the car.
Sent an email asking if happy, have requested to be contacted and nothing.
Absolutely disgusting
Absolutely disgusting. Sales were great and friendly however after sales and service is a joke.
Car went in with faults took us 4 months to have the car fixed and returned. The hire car from eurocar literally around the corner was left with them. For some reason the car was collected from Middlesbrough?! And now we are getting lugged with a feul bill even though we put a full tank in before we dropped it off. Why did someone from drive take it to Boro? Why did we have to wait over an hour for a car to be cleaned and serviced after being told it was ready on top of this their valeting means washed the outside and quickly hoover the front seats, the back of the car wasn't even touched at all.
If you are buying a car or planning to use this company at all then don't, take your business and your hard earned money elsewhere!!
Very poor service from salesman.
Very poor service from salesman.
I was shown a video of the car -bodywork looked fine.
However, having travelled 3 hours to buy the car, I found a dent in the bonnet.
Also I was told it would be serviced to the standard required to satisfy the manufacturer's warranty - this was not true.
I only managed to sort these issues out by involving a senior sales manager.
Lucas Balista excellent sales service
Lucas Balista at the Bury St Edmunds branch as fantastic with handling my purchase and dealing with any queries. His communication and reassurance is excellent. I would highly recommend speaking to Lucas if you are considering purchasing a car.
A bit of a shambles.
I bought a car from Drive about six months ago. They were very keen to sell me lots of extras and services, but could not supply me with The T&Cs for them. Also they could not tell me details like how many years a cam belt could be expected to last on car that had only done 25,000 miles. Also they only gave one weeks guarantee after purchase.
The service record indicated that the car had been regularly serviced by Drive annually. I’ve had problems with brake sensors since, was this bad luck?
I had it MOTed and serviced today by another Vauxhall main dealer, front discs were pitted and corroded. The tyre inflator had expired in 2004, which to be polite surprised me that I would be sold a car with an expired inflator kit. There were quite a few other issues, which I cannot say were not down to the relatively low milage that the car has done since sale.
On the positive side Drive did find me a car that met quite a demanding spec.
Ordered a new motobility car
Ordered a new motobility car in december arrived in march not too long to wait. Mark the motorbility advisor was very helpful kept us updated with the progress of the order and the handover was very smooth.
The car is everything we expected and will meet our needs fully. I would recommend dealing with Mark Bignell to anyone. He certainly is professional and goes that extra mile for his customers.
Deivis at the Bristol team was…FAB
Deivis at the Bristol team was fantastic.
We were in the Bristol area for a few days and thought we would look at the electric range.
They had a fab deal for a car my hubby was interested in.
Deivis looked after us really well and was patient when we asked lots of questions. He explained everything. We bought the car! He even managed to turn around the prep of car so my hubby could drive it home 24 hours later!
Excellent service Deivis.
Avoid Drive, Darlington

I agreed a deal on a Leapmotor C10 at £358 per month, confirmed by the salesperson after speaking with their manager. I paid a £500 deposit and we shook hands on the deal.
45 minutes later, I was called to say there had been a “pricing error" and "the price had increased to £379 per month", or I "could pay an extra £500 deposit to reduce it to £368".
I was told if I didn’t accept the new terms, my deposit would be refunded.
Expecting a customer to cover the cost of your mistake after taking a deposit is completely unacceptable. This experience has left me with zero confidence in the dealership.
professional and attentive
Jeremy Hogg was very professional. He understood my needs and found be a great deal. His aftercare is second to none. Well done Drive Redcar and Jeremy Hogg. We will use you again for sure. BW Will
Lack of responsibilities by vauxhall.
I would not ever buy a vauxhall again & would never use Drive vauxhall again. My vauxhall mokka had a major engine failure at 2 years old back in October 2025 & vauxhall drive told me i needed a new engine & told me my warranty was void because my service was missed (unkown to me as this was missed by who i purchased car off) so they wanted to charge me £10,500 for a new engine. They even admitted to me it was a manufacturer fault & missing the service would not have caused this major failure. So i even phoned there head office to see if they would at least help me with the labour costs as a good will gesture but nothing. So paid them £1,200 to strip my engine down apparently to find out the exact fault & all they came back with was swarf/bits of metal in the sump. So had it recovered to my local garage who put a new engine in at half the price & when completed to find out that vauxhall had kept my engine splash guard & kept a bit of my engine which was required for the new engine so i had to wait 3 more weeks for this part. Absolutely disgusting AVOID!
Disappointed
Unbelievably helpful when trying to make a sale, unfortunately, after sales service is terrible. Finance agreement not paid off for car I p/x, so ended up paying for a car I no longer have, along with new one. Also being chased by DVLA as they were never informed I was no longer the keeper of the previous car. Such a shame as my experience started off so well but unfortunately will not be using again
Had a fantastic experience with Peter…
Had a fantastic experience with Peter at Vauxhall Direct in Aldershot! He managed to get me an absolutely cracking deal on the exact car I wanted. From start to finish, he was friendly, polite, and genuinely couldn’t do enough to help us. He made the whole process smooth and stress-free, and honestly turned what can sometimes be a daunting experience into a really enjoyable one. Couldn’t be happier with the service—highly recommend asking for Peter if you’re looking for a great deal and top-notch customer care!
Still no Smart Remote key — zero communication after purchase
I bought an MG IM5 from Drive MG Leamington and it should have come with a Smart Remote key that I have never received. Since the day I picked up the car, I’ve had absolutely no communication from the showroom. No updates, no replies to emails, nothing.
I’ve gone into the showroom three separate times and still haven’t been given any information or a solution. It feels like once they’ve taken your money, they disappear.
Really poor customer service and no follow‑through on what is part of the car and purchase. I’m still waiting for something that should have been provided from day one with no end in sight!!
Great customer service
The staff were so helpful from start to finish. Chloe was great, she explained everything in detail and made me feel confident in choosing the right car for me.
Thankyou 😁
Abysmal customer care
Abysmal customer care, promising phone calls to keep you informed but never made, last visit at 12.17 pm, waited as no one manning service desk, eventually went over the reception desk and asked guy if he could ring the service desk to get someone out, lucky for he then went and found someone, seems the service dept when you turn up are doing you a favour no pro activity, totally no customer care, one saving grace Tracey Osbourne thank god based on experience between 30 Jan and so far today 02 Mar
