We had an amazing experience at Era Göz in Antalya! My cousin and I both came in for lens replacement, and from start to finish the care was exceptional. The staff were friendly, professional, and made us feel comfortable every step of the way.

The doctors explained everything clearly and took the time to answer all of our questions. The procedure went smoothly for both of us, and we are so happy with the results. The clinic was very clean, modern, and well organized. My eye sight was crystal clear from the first lens insertion and no glasses needed even with one eye done. By the time I had 2nd eye done my sight was 20/20 no regrets.

Thank you to everyone at Era Göz for your kindness and excellent care. We highly recommend them to anyone considering lens replacement in Antalya!

I have just returned from my trifocal Odyssey lens replacement and I wanted to share how impressed I was with the care I received.

Batuhan was an outstanding coordinator. His English is excellent, and he stayed with me throughout my time at the hospital. He explained everything clearly and I felt well informed from start to finish. He is extremely organised, calm, and nothing was ever too much trouble.

Dr Selim Güldiken is an exceptional surgeon. He was very engaging and reassuring, and he talked me through what was happening while the surgery was taking place, which really helped put me at ease.

I am not usually someone who writes reviews, but Batuhan and Dr Selim Güldiken genuinely deserve the praise. Thank you both.

I came from the UK for eye surgery in Antalya, Turkey. I’m 53 years old and have worn prescription eyeglasses for the past 20 years. I came across Era Goz Eye Hospital in Turkey through social media. Due to the exorbitant quotes from different Opticians in the UK, I decided to consider eye surgery abroad. I have searched around, and I decided Era Goz Eye Hospital, as it met all the vital criteria I required. From the first port of call, AJ (the Client Service Assistant), provided me all the necessary details and information, the best treatment I needed considering my age and prescription. I was advised to have a Trifocal Lens Replacement Eye Surgery and been recommended to Dr. Selim Güldiken. My communication with AJ was very swift and straight-forward, thoroughly explaining the procedure, and offering assurance in case of any setback and the aftercare etc… When I arrived in Turkey this June, 2025, I was received by Ali Hakan, the English-Speaking Translator, who coordinated and assisted me in every step of the treatment, and my transportation to and from the airport, my hotel and the hospital. They are so professional from start to finish. The hospital has the best and modern technology for eye testing prior to the procedure. Dr. Selim with his expertise, is very in depth, precise and has all the patience with me, being a very nervous patient. A few hours after the operation, my vision improved dramatically, and the best part is I am now “Eyeglasses Free.” Instantly, I acquired a 20/20 vision. Amazing and works like magic… I have a very high regard and cannot praise Era Goz Eye hospital enough for the treatment they provided me. To all the staffs, drivers, AJ, Ali Hakan and Dr. Selim – they all worked as a team to deliver the highest patient satisfaction in keeping me at ease and comfortable. I recently had trifocal lens surgery with **Dr. Selim Guldiken** and his amazing nurse **Batu**, and I couldn’t be happier with the whole experience. From the very beginning, everything was handled with the highest level of professionalism and care.

Not only was the surgery itself expertly done — I’m thrilled with the results — but they also arranged all of our transport for 5 days and provided comfortable accommodation at a very reasonable price.This made the whole process so smooth and stress-free.

Dr. Selim is clearly very experienced and trustworthy, and Nurse Batu was incredibly kind and attentive, always checking in and making sure I was comfortable and well looked after.

If you’re considering trifocal lenses or eye treatment abroad, I highly recommend Dr. Selim and his team. You’ll be in excellent hands!

I had lens replacement surgery (IOL surgery) two weeks ago. Dr. Selim implanted Alcon AcrySof IQ Vivity Toric lenses in both eyes. After 50 years of wearing glasses, I got my first pair as a baby at 9 months old, with high hyperopia of +8 diopters and astigmatism of over 3 diopters, I was tired of wearing glasses and decided to have IOL surgery.
Batuhan, Dr. Selim's assistant and coordinator, organized everything and accompanied me from A to Z during the preliminary consultations, both surgeries, and the follow-up appointments.
Dr. Selim is a master of his work, and the results are fantastic.
The AcrySof IQ Vivity IOLs allow me to go about my daily life without glasses. I can even work on the computer and read. I currently still use near comfort glasses for long periods of work and reading, but day by day I'm getting more accustomed to the new near vision and don't need them as often anymore.
Thanks again to Dr. Selim and Bathuan for their excellent work and support.
I can 100% recommend them both, as well as the Alcon AcrySof IQ Vivity lenses.

PS: Be careful with black light after surgery. The eye drops glow in it, and you look like a zombie :-)

I travelled from the UK to get laser eye surgery with Dr Selim Guldiken, from start to finish Batuhan has been amazing with organising everything! Transfers, hotel, and surgery. 4 days post op and im healing really well, if anyone is considering laser eye surgery in turkey I'd definitely recommend

Had my trifocal lense replacement surgery on Saturday under general anaesthetic (my choice) with Dr. Selim Guldiken. No pain, no discomfort. Blurry in the first instance. Daily improvement. Had a check up today. All clear. My vision has already improved and I can see clearly in the distance. My close vision is also so much better. This is only day 2 and I am over the moon. Goodbye glasses forever. The world is full of bright colours once again!

The service received was next to none. Attentive, friendly and welcoming staff. Polite interpreter/assistant Hakan has answered all my questions, even late at night and put me at ease.

If you are having any doubts, don’t! Just go ahead and book your surgery. You have nothing to loose but your glasses.

I went to Antalya for lense replacement surgery and was treated by Dr Selim Guldiken 6 months ago, he was so very patient with me as I am a nervous person his English was great and explained everything to me. No pain and no problems at all
My eyesight is absolutely fantastic now previously I could not see without glasses now my vision is perfect and no more glasses

The cost is a fraction of what I would pay for in the uk
