It hasn't worked for my house in winter. Great for 8 months of the year but into the second winter now when it needs to be turned off. Freezing cold, more condensation I think, curtains stick to windows and still mould growing on the ceiling.
Have had a number of attempts with settings but nothing seems to assist.
Will review again if ever get it sorted.
Given my experience wouldn't recommend this system in an older house, with inefficient heating and unglazed windows.

Seriously wouldn't look at any other system on the market. This is our second DVS install and couldn't be happier. The installation and standard of work was excellent. DVS service is nothing but professional. Would definitely give my recommendation to anyone.

Very professional. Explained everything before and during installation and explained and demonstrated control unit in detail. Very tidy and removed all rubbish. Looking forward to winter when we get the real benefits from such a system.

My 15 year old DVS needed replacing. I contacted DVS and Greg phoned me to discuss a replacement system. I upgraded the following week. Greg installed my new system on time, cleaned up any mess. Went through the instructions on the use of the system and was a pleasure to have in my home. My old system had run every night for the 10 years I've lived in my house. It made a real difference to the moisture levels and comfort within my home. I wouldn't be without one now. DVS are not pushy, unlike some of their competitors. I highly recommend this company to anyone who is interested or considering a Domestic Ventilation system. I look forward to many years ahead, using my new DVS.

We’ve had our DVS for 3 winters now. In April, as Autumn was well under way and the weather was cooling down, we had a power outage that caused our DVS to need reseting. After one night of the DVS not working we had crying windows in the morning - we were reminded how excellent our DVS is - something we had begun to take for granted. I contacted the helpful (and fast) support people, and they solved the error code message and a reset was all that was needed to get back to normal operation: and dry windows again the next day. We are so pleased with how our DVS keeps our home dry - it was worth prioritising the money on this aspect of our home renovation. (We have a single-level 2-bedroom unit in Auckland.)

The whole process was made easy by the DVS consultant ( Kevin). He is very professional and answers all our questions. Price was very good and the installation was well done. I am a very happy customer and really enjoying a dry and healthier home for my family. Highly recommended.

DVS reclaim system with summer vent is totally brilliant. We have had it in the house for 2 years now. The summer vent means coming home to a house that is not stuffy or unbearable. Winter with the reclaim means the house gets warmer faster. The sales person (Hoppy) was great and I recommend to all.

We recently had our DVS system installed & the level of service provided from start to finish was excellent. A reasonably priced quote was provided & we were promptly liked with a local installer who also communicated clearly with us a suitable day & time to install. Installation was done in an efficient timeframe & the reasoning behind vent placement for best results was explained which we appreciated. I have found DVS to be extremely effective I just purchased my home 11days ago on the second morning after moving in had crying windows never have experience in 72 years the DVS was explanation of very experienced consultant From my previous experience of having a different system in 2 previous homes have found DVS Superior an the controller is simple operation my home is 114sq mtrs the installer set system to 120sq mtrs after 4 days have decreased setting to 110sq mtrs for a dry home.Also as a note I can change the filter myself if choosing to at a third the price of previous systems hope this helps choosing a System thanx Ross Chick

We are a return consumer, the first system was great this house was a one store 1950s, however the second house built mid 1980s with a 2nd store added on upstairs, has been awful. They said we should get the basic mode and the only difference was that it could no have add on's like heater transfer system ect which we were happy with that. But this basic mode has to thermostat on it so when the air temperature in the roof is very cold the fan continues to go and freezing cold air is blown into the bedrooms, this feels like a door is open, so cold, also the air smells dusty which is awful and unhealthy, we cant have our kids sleeping in these bedrooms with this happening. So we paid $2700 for some thing we have turned off. I will be ringing them again tomorrow im so unhappy I wish we had just got double glazing for this money instead

The DVS unit has made a huge improvement in the overall warm of the house.
Our home is only 7 years old and double glazed, but we had been getting bad condensation on the aluminium joinery. This was especially bad in the children's rooms.
Overnight this changed, we have found that even in the cold Christchurch winter we aren't needing to turn the heat pumps on as often.
I was initially concerned about running costs - the power bill has actually come down as we don't need to turn on heating as often.
I highly recommend this system!
