Dxo has made and make a wonderful work. I use PureRaw from version 4 and version 6 is incredible, but... since it is based on modules i cannot use it with all my gear. I have some Viltrox lenses, very good lenses that don't have a dedicate module and the software doesn't work well. Maybe in the future?

I am a DxO user for quite a few year's, the program's are easy and to me designed well, over the years had a few problems ,which the DxO team solved very quickly, hat's of to a great team. The quality of the program's are very good , the new Nik 9 is terrific and with the DxO 10 a great combination . Keep up the great work

The latest Photo lab 10 has been yet another improvement on my go to photo editing software. The AI masking and new masks including depth mask and the opportunity to mask many individual parts of subjects and people make editing so much easier.
I would have given it 5 stars except the masking of skies is still pretty poor compared to some of the cheaper software such as On One and Luminar.

An excellent tool that simplifies and speeds up the workflow. The upgrades are too expensive, in my opinion! Viveza and Silver Efex are absolutely unreplaceable!

I contacted customer service because I was upset that I purchased DXO Lab 9 at the end of its product cycle. Exactly a month after I made my purchase, they released a new title version of the product I'd just purchased. While I was concerned this scenario might happen, in the first place, I figured that if a new version were imminently dropping, I would see it advertised or teased somewhere. And, like any customer that is reasonably informed that the product I'm considering will become obsolete a month from now, I would have waited on the newer version. I looked on their site to see if they might have any goodwill offers for people in my situation and I found that someone on their support team agreed with that sentiment, because I found a FAQ on their support page titled "I recently bought DXO PhotoLab, am I eligible for a free upgrade or anything else?" That post told customers that if they'd bought DXO 9 after August 2 (which was 8 hours after I'd bought my version) then those customers would be sent a personalized offer and that no exceptions would be made. I reached out to them, thinking that because I was literally an edge case, just outside their offer window, and because they are a company of human beings, they might be willing to hear me out. If they said no, then it was worth trying, anyway.
Since the post was vague about what the range of offers that would be made and it targeted people who expected they should get a free upgrade, I specifically asked in my message if I could get a free upgrade, suspecting they, probably, would either talk me down or lean into their offer window. What I heard back from them was a disappointing, templated, borderline gaslighting response about how, nowhere on their site was this offer made to that group of customers, and graciously assuring me that my copy would continue to work, ending with a link to the new version and its features (should I be interested). I followed up by explaining all that I just expressed and pointing out the offer on their site that, clearly, said otherwise. Again, a canned, response, now disagreeing that the offer was for a "free" upgrade, when it was really for a "personalized limited-time offer". Really, just avoiding acknowledging anything I bought up and trying to get me to go away as quickly as possible.
As good as the foundational product is (I'm genuinely happy with it), their release model is, unfortunately too extractionary and unfriendly to customers that hope will be loyal to them. They seem really happy to spend time mitigating and litigating bad customer experiences on this website, but not with making sure customers feel like they're getting a fair shake, in the first place. After reading some of the other responses to customers on this review board, I think I see a concerning pattern. They want you paying as much as often as possible for incremental upgrades. If they can't entice you to upgrade, then they're more than happy get money from you by surprising you with an additional pay wall, because you unknowingly paid for a OS-specific version or you bought at a bad time. "Don't you want to see what missing feature is in the new version that you're missing out on?" Models like that won't keep customers coming back in the long run... If they won't budge, why should you?

I am a long-term DxO customer who recently paid to upgrade from PhotoLab 8 to PhotoLab 9. Exactly one month and a few days later, they launched PhotoLab 10 without any prior notice or transparency at checkout. When I asked for a goodwill exception because I was just a couple of days outside their rigid 30-day grace period, customer support completely stonewalled me. They used automated, copy-pasted scripts, ignored my customer history, and closed my ticket as "resolved" without a human review.Forcing a repeat customer to pay two back-to-back upgrade fees within 5 weeks is an anti-consumer practice. Furthermore, the support agent handling my ticket 661851 demonstrated a total lack of customer stewardship. I have requested a formal internal Quality Assurance and Performance Review regarding this agent's conduct.I strongly advise new buyers to beware of DxO’s lack of transparency regarding product lifecycles and their dismissive, automated customer service.
As can be seen from the response below they have little or no regard for their customers past present or future. While the software is good i cannot disagree the way their whole attitude and support system deals condescendingly and dismissively is a major concern for anyone intending to buy their software. This is a major buyer beware concern as there is little or no recourse. They take your money and then tell you to get lost.

DXO PhotoLab 9 is excellent at noise reduction in RAW images, generally very good and responsive, meanwhile also local corrections via AI masking are quite good.

Photolab is very easy to use, yet very powerful. Udating is straightforward. It is definitely the best photo-editing software I have seen and its noise reduction is very useful for a user of a micro FT camera.

Very bad update policy.
I own Photolab 7 from DXO, and I contacted them today to get update price. On my big surprise, they told me I have to pay full price, 239.99 US $, because my version is "Too Old!!!" I did not updated ver 8 and 9 because nothing was so significant. They slso say they are rewarding loyal customers who are paying for every update. In that case it is false statment that you can replace Photoshop and Lightrom fees, their prices are much too higher then Adobe's.
I will never ever buy something from them and never recommend to anybody.

From what I could use this software seems to be excellent. Unfortunately, I would need to upgrade my computer (costing around $1500) to enjoy all the features. Not in my budget at the moment.

The support team were quick to respond, provided good help and talked me through what I needed to do to solve my problem. They found a solution which was in my latest update for Windows 11 not the DxO product.

Best RAW development for over 10 years and now with AI masking the best in the market.

The representative listened carefully, was gracious, and responded quickly, even several times over the weekend. They were very professional and helped me identify that the issue was with my graphics card driver, and provided a path toward getting the latest stable driver. Very pleased.

Dxo photolab 10 and the nik collection 9 are two very powerful programs to edit your photos in a way you like. My highlights are in photolab obviously the deepprime noise reduction wich is absolute breathtaking. Also I enjoy the ai masks very much.
