Starlink Install

Had Dyfed Telecom out to fit a Starlink and out door access point for me. Joe the engineer was great and had it up and running in no time. There were a few teething problems but Joe was on the end of the phone to help guide me through rectifying them. I would definitely recommend Dyfed Telecom to my family and friends

Amazing service

Amazing service enquired about Dyfed telecom on the 11th of march and Joe Kendall came out the next day to do a speed test, got me from 15 mb to 200+ very friendly and helpful can’t recommend joe and Dyfed enough

Great tech support. Thanks Joe and Doug

I felt quite anxious when our internet service cut out this friday morning. I had admin to work on and have two teenagers at home. I got through to Doug on the tech support helpline quite quickly. Unfortunately it seemed it could take till Monday for an engineers appointment. I explained how our rural location has very poor mobile signal and we would struggle without the internet. Doug said he would try and fit in a call out to us sooner. Lo and behold a friendly and competent engineer, Joe, made it to us by early afternoon and quickly resolved the issue by replacing a dodgy SIM card in our dish. Thanks Dyfed Telecom :-)

A big shout-out to Dyfed Telecom

A big shout-out to Dyfed Telecom and especially Joe for bringing this house into the 21st century by installing our internet. They were brilliant and took care of every aspect of the work, including advising us that a Welsh Government grant existed to help with the work, which we didn't know.

Dyfed Telecom broadband provider.

Prompt response to our initial enquiry.
Follow up by sales/ survey chap (Zachary), was excellent, followed by a detailed quotation.
Only problem was the initially agreed installation date was delayed due to Dyfed Telecom being overwhelmed with new business due to our existing provider cancelling all contracts in our area.
Installation by the Dyfed engineer (Joe) was truly a fantastic experience, polite, clean and very professional.
Overall, very happy customer!

Telecom company with no communication

I had my Internet with dyfed Telecom for a while now when it's working i can't fault it until something goes wrong, as long as it goes wrong between 9 to 5 office hours in the week you have support. but out them hours your stuffed. the last four weeks my Internet has been going down it's always out off office hours so no support whatsoever, Christmas and new year have been a joke, and here we go again my Internet has been off all day 17/01/26 I may be lucky and it might come back on in the morning. If not I might have to wait until Monday office hours. I have emailed them twice today on two different email addresses and still no reply. I've been it touch with EE because they are using EE mobile broadband and they have told me the fault in on my side . EE have even phoned my back this afternoon to see if I've got hold of dyfed Telecom, but the answer was no they haven't replied to my emails. Is this what you expect from service provider they are a joke im not impressed at all

Poor service

Attended a 2 day job, and after 1 day stated they couldn't come back to the job for 3 weeks , leaving several businesses with very poor , sometimes un functioning internet which is now worse than when they started the job. Why start a 2 day job when they can only do 1 day and not another for 3 weeks. Is this is very poor service or mismanagement of jobs.
Many attempts of contact made to the engineer with absolutely no response.
How can they knowingly leave 3 businesses with no internet for 3 weeks after an upfront payment of £800 was made !

Absolutely top notch service from start…

Absolutely top notch service from start to finish. Meiz dealt with my enquiry and my frustration with BTs supply being awful with no option of Fibre any time soon. I was adamant I’d need starlink and would have to bare the £75 monthly cost to be able to continue to work from home. Meiz sent an engineer round to conduct a survey with a 4G antenna. He predicted speeds of over 100mbps download. Install now complete and we are getting over 200mbps. The monthly cost is a lot more competitive than starlink. Special mention to Elliott for his excellent tech support and programming!

Excellent and speedy service from Dyfed…

Excellent and speedy service from Dyfed Telecom. Very happy with the speed of my WiFi now!
Dan Parry came and assessed the site and assured me that I could soon have excellent internet speeds. He was extremely helpful and dealt with all my questions and worries and also informed me that I could get a Welsh government grant to cover most of the cost.
Within a couple of days of the Starlink equipment arriving, their engineer Paul came and fitted everything ….. and bingo, we were up and running.
I had one issue with my sky Q box, but again Dan sorted it all out for me.
I would highly recommend Dyfed Telecom especially to anyone who lives remotely, we now have brilliant phone and internet thanks to them - as BT don’t give a monkeys and are not able to provide a constant phone line and broadband service that works.

Appalling

On calling I was told it would be one to two weeks. No one came back to me to tell me installation date when I rang I was told it would be 14 August I rang yesterday to confirm, told they would come back to me they didn't. I rang the 14th to ask when, no one came back to me again. I then rang and after 6 minutes of holding the phone cut off I did this several times and no answer at all so think they can see my number and not answering. I paid £60 for temporary internet and sent this back yesterday as advised today I would be connected. So now still no connection, no update. Appalling service.
