I have a villa in spain i holiday rent out i did not agree to a booking but a year later the clients emailed me to tell me they arrive soon ect this booking i did not agree to 100% i have customer service telling me i agreed to the booking that is not true the reason i know o would not have took the booking is i have the same family back at easter every year now for the past 7 years this is absolutely terrible you would still take the booking to con me out of the non free cancelled payment so know they are asking me to pay over 2000€ that they would have made on the booking this is completely really bad for business i asked you for proof of we’re i said yes to the booking and you can not show me or i can also see on my page its bad i will not go down without a fight on this my Laywer has been informed about this situation this company.

After Booking.com cancelled my booking 10 days before I was due to fly in February and after I had paid in full, I booked the only other apartment in Adeje town available on their site. It turns out that this was via eDomizil and what a disaster that was! The apartment was filthy, dangerous, with very poor furniture and misleading pictures on Booking.com's website and at an inflated price. I have complained Booking.com who directed me to eDomizil, who don't want to know!
Strange therefore that the property is no longer being offered!
I requested a refund via a Section 75 claim from my bank but because Booking.com and eDomizil are both involved, that has been declined.
Beware of any dealings with this company. They don't care about customer satisfaction and even with photographic evidence, they do not want to know. The booking was made in my birth name of Mary Miller
As far as eDomizil's reply is concerned saying that owners can withdraw properties at any time and previous renters were very satisfied, how strange that only my review was shown on Booking.com and that was a genuine review. My review was very poor! Perhaps eDomizil can produce evidence of these very satisfied reviews?

Update today 06/10/25: Needless to say, evidence of any positive reviews was not forthcoming from eDomizil! However, Booking.com have been in touch and offered me a refund of about 15% which I have decided to accept.
I repeat - be very wary of booking anything with eDomizil.

I booked a room through e-domizil, but the room I received was horrible and not livable. I raised a complaint online requesting a refund, but I haven’t received any proper updates. The only reply I keep getting is that they are still waiting for the host to respond.
It has been more than three weeks now with no proper update, and I’ve been following up every 2–3 days without any progress.

The invoiced costs for our holiday apartment in Switzerland were significantly overcharged. After requesting clarification, I was referred to the accounting department – but even after more than two months and several follow-ups, I have received no response at all. Waiting for my money back. This comes across as highly unprofessional and reflects very poor customer service. Furthermore, the prevalence of 1-star reviews is quite telling.

We are writing to formally express our deep dissatisfaction with the handling of our booking through HomeToGo and e-domizil. "Frustrated" does not begin to describe our experience – it has been entirely unacceptable and, frankly, alarming.
In January, we booked a flat in Croatia and paid a 20% deposit. Since then, we have made numerous attempts to obtain clear and adequate responses to our inquiries. However, the replies we have received — when we receive them at all — have been vague, repetitive, and entirely unhelpful. It appears that many of these responses are automated or AI-generated, as they do not address the specific concerns raised. While we have had some contact from Milos, our questions remain unresolved and are consistently ignored.
We attempted to make the final payment, but the payment link provided by e-domizil was non-functional. Despite repeated outreach, no effective solution has been offered.
This situation is particularly distressing as we are traveling with a disabled family member. We urgently need assurances that the property will be accessible upon arrival. If we are unable to make the final payment securely, or if we do not receive the exact address and access details (i.e., keys) prior to departure, we will have no choice but to seek formal legal and consumer protection advice.
To summarize, we are left with the following unresolved issues:
• How and where to pay the outstanding balance.
• A lack of clarity on whether we will receive the property address and access arrangements after payment.
• The concerning and unprofessional lack of direct, human responses to our specific inquiries.
• Non-functional customer service phone numbers.
Based on this experience, we are highly concerned about the credibility of this company. At this point, we strongly caution others to avoid this platform until significant improvements in communication and reliability are made.
We request immediate resolution to the above issues. A failure to do so will prompt us to escalate this matter through appropriate channels.

Further to my review on 20/05 where I received a response from E-Domizil to state I would received payment instructions for the villa on the 01/06 - we are still waiting and have received nothing from them - you cannot speak to them on the phone (neither can their agents apparently HometoGo) and they do not respond or acknowledge any emails (the payment was due 01/06 and we have been chasing them for the invoice and details of how to make payment for weeks). I have emailed them and HometoGo daily to get this matter resolved and yet we are now at the 04/06 and we still have no details as to how to pay and are loathe to make all other arrangement such as transfers and cars etc until we have the details which is making matters incredibly difficult….I cannot believe that we are having to chase a company to make payment - never before when renting villas have we been in this position - appalling.

I didnt get a confirmation of my booking, but an amount has already been debited from my credit card. My emails are not being responded to. I doubt whether my booking went well.

I have booked an accommodation with the free cancellation option and decided to cancel my booking a few days later (but still in the eligible period) since I have found another alternative.
They took almost 2 months to issue a refund and on top of that, they only refunded me a part of the value.
The whole refund process is super disorganized and I have to reach out to the customer support team several times to get an status on my refund.
Terrible experience!
