Positive engagement with a friendly guy who has given a fantastic pitch about E Gas and electric. I've been considering switching providers, and it's a really fortunate turn of events that this has happened. I've been offered their latest promotional offer, which includes a taste card along with the incredible benefit of no standing charges! You only pay for what you use.

Terrible lying thieving company!
Do not believe the bull spouted by the doorstep person… became a customer on 22nd April and switched back to my previous supplier already - £110 in electric alone in 2 weeks is ridiculous!
Customer service is probably the worst I've ever encountered.
Customer service has been consistently rude and unprofessional across multiple calls.
Staff are either typically badly trained, or seemingly not trained at all in the basics of customer service.
You will be talked over, put on hold against your wishes, & fobbed off with the most childish excuses.
On a few occasions Ive had to ask their staff to stop talking over me- both times they carried on waffling away with excuses- the latest time this occurred they started making odd noises while I explained the issue (seriously- it was unreal !).
Needs serious improvement, & reappraisal of their training requirements.

Worst company I’ve ever dealt with
Worst company I’ve ever dealt with.
They blame the meter and app issues on “your signal” and won’t do anything about it, all the while taking top-ups online that don’t add to the meter. When you speak to them it’s like you’re inconveniencing them and are reluctant to give information about your own account. They also let your metre run into a £35 deficit before you even move into a property whilst it was vacant and force you to pay it before you can have any energy in the home….., even though apparently they don’t have “standing charges”.
Honestly can’t find one positive thing to say about this sham of a “company”.
*Edit* Following this review, because I originally left my name, immediately I got a voicemail saying “you need an engineer at your house to look at the meter” (even though the error was reported two years ago!!!!!!)
They clearly keep an eye on Trustpilot reviews.
Case in point that they focus on marketing and nonsense rather than customers and the companies own problems.
They shut down their app though several times per week for hours and hours on end. No notification when it’s gonna happen or for how long, during which you can’t top-up or check your balance. However it’s for “maintenance updates” so I’m sure they’re working on their problems!
