Brilliant Practice!
Friendly, helpful and, above all, professional. Would highly recommend this practice.
Awful service
Would like to say this wasn't my review , tho I do agree with it, my partner was using my name which I have had words with him about! but despite what name is used, the treatment and attitude of the vet was terrible , the staff and receptionists tho , one in particular was lovely
Awful service. Vet was not interested in my cat. Took her in because of weight loss. First thing I'd expect a vet to do was take the cats temperature but this never happened once! Prescribed drugs (cost £80) before even getting the results back! Started her on the prescription only to be later told that the diagnosis was wrong and the prescription would do nothing. I was not offered my money back. Consultation was £45 and my cat was consulted for a total of 8 minutes, which works out at £337 per hour. Disgusting money making in times of hardship and cost of living. AVOID!!!!!!!
Good service
Easy, friendly service. Can get appointments quite easily. Better than the GP's surgery by miles.

Where to start
Where to start? 1st time here (well actually second but will get onto that) and it was amazing. The girls on the desk are lovely and polite they are approachable and smile when you look at them which helps, especially if your not from kettering. We had the ferret booked in for a vasectomy but crossed wires on my part meant we originally missed our appointment on the 11th may and had turned up on the 12th. We go in after getting lost and find out we missed it, the girl goes out back comes back and says since were already here the surgeon is willing to do it still. Well it only goes and turns out that it still couldn't happen that day as the surgeon who does the vasectomy was not in only the castration was available which for us was not a option. The lady was very professional, apologetic and rebooked us for the following tue so now he is all done and recovering and its all thanks to easipet care. They were respectful amd cheerful so thanks easipetcare.

How thoughtful
Update on previous review after the care the staff showed when my 'old man'went over the rainbow bridge.
I have just received a beautiful card with a condolence message in. Needless to say I'm now in floods of tears again but they are tears of gratitude and the card will sit with him on the shelf in the alcove where he had his bed. Again, I cannot thank the staff enough for their compassion ❤

Yesterday I had to have my dog PTS
Yesterday I had to have my dog PTS. having called the surgery they arranged for me to arrive at 10.20am. My dog was in a bad way so I asked if they could do it in the car so they advised us to go round back (a concrete loading bay) and we would be seen in 5 minutes.
Over an hour later we are still sat in the car, hottest day of the year, dog is distressed, temperature went up to 34° & still no sign of a nurse or vet to administer the dose needed.
Finally we were asked if we wanted to go inside (the whole point to being in the car was less stress for dog who was in a lot of pain ) so I carried him in on his bed to a room where I was left for another half hour before some random came in, no intro as to who she was or what she was doing and she asked to move my dog to another area to insert canular in his arm to administer the deathly dose.
She then tried to pick him up like a cat, he cried in pain & fear, she nearly dropped him...I went effin mental at her!
So untrained staff who have no idea how to pick up an animal safely, how to insert canular correctly (she took at least 3 times to get it right) or how to treat clients who are in distress at the time the decision has been made to end a precious fur babies life are what easypetcare are all about!
I had a massive go at the 2 people I did see and told them I was disgusted at how we had been treated, the lack of obvious common sense and knowledge on pet handling, not explaining what was happening properly, just trying to keep me from seeing them make mistake after mistake by trying to shut me away in a separate room while they prepare my boy for his termination and doing that badly, the distress caused to myself and my boy for the separation they insisted upon before his final moment is absolutely devastating to me & I'm furious that my boy had to end his life this way in an uncaring, untrained environment with staff who have not got a frikkin clue what they are doing.
Will never use them again. In fact this experience has put me off ever having a pet again, I cannot go thro such trauma again in this lifetime & I have always had pets all my life.
Today my world is empty & I'm broken, not least because your end of life services are absolute rubbish & totally uncaring !!
Good for basic routine care - terrible for anything complicated
Have been with the Kettering branch for 10months. For routine things like vaccinations or minor injuries (my cat had a shoulder injury) they are fine.
However: should your pet develop a complicated condition of any kind do not expect them to manage this effectively.
My cat (kitten really not even a year old) became extremely unwell and they said she had zero chance of survival. It was the emergency vet who actually did something and referred her to a specialist centre.
They made me feel hopeless.
But my fur baby is still here and is now home and, if we’re very lucky, on the path to recovery following a week in an itu and a week on the ward.
If I hadn’t gotten a second opinion she would be dead and in the ground already.
If you have a pet who you wouldn’t be able to finance, or wouldn’t find it appropriate to go to the lengths we did in order to cure them or save them then this vets is just fine I.e your animal is old or you don’t have insurance. If it wasn’t for this incident I’d have given the 4/5 - the staff are lovely and helpful and getting an appointment is straight forward.
But never again. For me they aren’t just animals, they’re my family.
Ring up to find if my dogs ashes are…
Ring up to find if my dogs ashes are back, and no there not and to be told they wont contact me when there back, and there not classed as an essential, call back in a week or so, disgusting
