A first class service provided by the company from the initial interview with the funeral director all the way through to the collection of my wife’s ashes.
All aspects of the funeral were catered for by East Durham Funeral Service Ltd.

Well it was very professional and yous made it so easy for me I didn't have to worry about anything yous took your time very humbled , respectful and took great care of my wife karen yous were so dignified.my only winge is that I dident get a choice of urn for her ashes but great job guys it takes a special kind of person to do what yous do and I'm so greatfull that east durham funeral services are there i wuld recommend yous to everyone who s lost a loved one

East Durham Funeral service did my stepdads funeral from start to finish Tom Ellen and Tracey kept in touch with me and guided me on what was needed for me to do. They were so professional from start to finish. I would 100 % recommend them. Thank you so much for everything and giving my stepdad the send off he deserved.

We lost my Dad this year, very unexpectedly. During the most difficult period our family has ever experienced, EDFS were incredibly respectful, helpful and kind. With their help and guidance, we had a wonderful funeral that the whole family was proud of. Many thanks to the whole team once again.

I would give East Durham Funeral service more than 5 stars if I could. They made a very very difficult time stress free and very easy! Ellen especially was on hand for any questions we had especially with delicate circumstances. I couldn't recommend them enough. We had a not nice experience with my grandma's funeral with another company and Ellen and the team absolutely excelled beyond our high expectations. We can't thank you all enough for making the day so special.

At the saddest of times the company provided the kindest caring service possible. They understood our requirements and carried out our wishes to provide the most perfect funeral anyone could wish to experience.
I wanted this to be a joyful service to commemorate the many years we spent together, a life full of happy memories to share and this was fully achieved.
I can't thank them enough and would highly recommend their service to anyone who requires the services of a funeral director. Every aspect was thoughtfully carried out, from contacting the venue, catering, floral tribute, minister and all I had to worry about was to upload photographs for the order of service and video tribute. Their funeral director, chauffeurs, attendants, limousines and hearse were immaculately turned out.
Thank you for helping my family and myself get through a very sad but in the end a happy memorial for a life well lived.
