Car in poor condition with marks

Car in poor condition with marks, dents, missing wheel trim and wing mirror shroud.
Difficult to check after dark but when returned claimed (disputed) scuff on black plastic trim and wheel trim. Charged €489
My bad for not videoing on pick up. Be aware - cheap hire means recovery of money by other means

empresa easycarhire, nos intentan poner un daño debajo del coche que no comprobaron en el check out, el coche está impecable y ha estado estacionado en parking privado todos los días. tenemos video exterior y se entrega impecable, pero no podemos demostrar lo que hay debajo del coche. no nos han dejado poner no conforme, no nos han dado hoja check in y en las oficinas no nos dejan hacer hoja de reclamaciones, cuando la tenía hecha me la han quitado. vamos a denunciar. no alquilen coches con ellos.

EasyCarhire is trying to accuse us of damage under the car that they didn't check at checkout. The car is immaculate and has been parked in a private parking lot every day. We have an exterior video and it's returned in immaculate condition, but we can't prove what's under the car. They haven't let us report it as non-conforming, they haven't given us a check-in form, and the offices won't let us fill out a complaint form. When I had one, they took it away from me. We're going to file a complaint. Don't rent cars from them.

Good rental prices

I rented a car for a very good price here. They picked me up at the airport (shuttle stop right outside by the parking) and promptly got to their rental office. I was very satisfied with the rental, I took many pictures of the car condition when picking it up and when dropping it off, also took a picture of the car status report (didn't get a copy when picking up). Overall a good experience with courteous employees.

Please be careful


I was given no option regarding insurance, it was simply forced. Shortly after, the car had a flat tire and constant alarms. I had to pay out of pocket to fix these issues and wasted an entire day of my holiday just finding a tire repair shop. To make matters worse, they still charged me extra for a scratch that occurred during the tire repair. Completely unacceptable and unprofessional — the worst rental company I’ve had i seriously suggest you to pay a little bit more but avoid those scammers

Great car with a baby seat

We rented a car with a baby seat at Pisa airport with ECH and had great experience. The car was new. The baby seat was new and with Isofix. Pick up and return was really easy. Just make sure to have a credit card on your name. All rentals require this nowadays!

They tried to claim damage which was not there

When I picked up the seven seater Toyota Proace it had a lot of scratches and the rear bumber was somewhat repaired with some filler material way off color. I walked around the car and pointed on all the the damages and asked the employee to note it all. When I pointed out a weird looking panel under the doors, I was told that this is the way it is build. I took a photo of it anyway.
At return another employee noted exactly this spot and it was only because I told the story from the pick up and showed the photo with the time stamp of the pick up time, that he unwillingly agreed.
Besides that, the employee at the service desk dismissed that I had bought a full insurance package from Auto Europe.
I will never rent a car at this dealer again and I recommend others to avoid this company as well.

Good service

We rented a car through check24. Insurance included. Shuttle from Palermo airport to the shop took some waiting time.
But otherwise the car was fine (obviously you have to check the car for damages and document them)
Service was fast and friendly, no complaints

⚠️ Absolute Warning – Fraud and Deception ⚠️
This car rental company deliberately and knowingly deceived us.
Despite informing them in advance about our delay and receiving a clear confirmation that the car would still be available, the vehicle was intentionally withheld. The staff on site even seemed to take pleasure in refusing to hand over the car.
Their behavior was not only rude but deliberately disrespectful, arrogant, and manipulative. There is no such thing as customer service here – on the contrary, customers are actively misled. An employee claimed to have been alone in the morning. However, when Check24 called, it turned out that they had actually spoken with another employee named Andrea – so this situation involves not only lies...
In addition, the advertised pickup at the airport terminal is not possible, even if booked. Instead, you are forced to take a shuttle bus that only runs every 20 minutes. This causes unnecessary delays, and if you don’t immediately find your way, you risk losing your reservation altogether – a system clearly designed to disadvantage customers.
This business model amounts to fraud, deception, and customer exploitation.

Diese Autovermietung hat uns bewusst und absichtlich betrogen.
Trotz vorheriger Information über unsere Verspätung und der klaren Zusage, dass das Fahrzeug für uns reserviert bleibt, wurde uns das Auto vorsätzlich verweigert. Die Mitarbeiter haben dabei offensichtlich sogar Spaß daran gehabt, uns das Fahrzeug nicht auszuhändigen. Ein Mitarbeiter beahuptete alleine gewesen zu sein am Morgen. Als Check24 dort dann anrief hat sich herausgestellt, dass hier mit einem anderen Mitarbeiter Namens Andrea gesprochen wurde - hier sind nicht nur LÜGEN inkludiert...
Das Verhalten war nicht nur unhöflich, sondern gezielt respektlos, arrogant und manipulativ. Kundenservice existiert hier nicht – im Gegenteil: man wird regelrecht hinters Licht geführt.
Hinzu kommt, dass die Abholung im Terminal, wie gebucht, nicht möglich ist. Stattdessen muss man einen Shuttle-Bus nehmen, der nur alle 20 Minuten fährt. Dadurch geht wertvolle Zeit verloren, und wer sich nicht sofort zurechtfindet, verliert sein Fahrzeug – ein System, das klar auf Kosten der Kunden ausgelegt ist.
Dieses Geschäftsmodell ist nichts anderes als arglistige Täuschung und Abzocke.

Worst experience ever

Worst experience ever. Were forced to take out extra insurance because of debitcard use and kept the entire deposit due to damage that was already there.. when we left the car we were told the deposit would return in 20 days, but received an e-mail the next day that they were keeping it.. get a car somewhere else.

Untrustworthy

The car itself was comfortable and good value. However, it was really stressful collecting the car as we were put under a lot of pressure to buy additional insurance even though we had palready paid for the higher level of insurance with AutoEurope. From what we have read recently, this seems to be a scam.

Disgraceful!

Shocking! One of the worst service I ever got. Hidden policy that raised the agreed price, when told them I had not evidence of any of this they ignored me and charged me anyway. I requested the baby cot for the car and it was given broken, £300 to rent it and when I asked for a replacement again I was ignored. Rude staff at desk that refuse to help me in anything, but was quick to try to upgrade the car for other £500…. I told them the car I was given had some issues and again all I was told was to go back and maybe someone could have a look, the maybe did not really work for me…..oh one more thing, still waiting on someone to let me know if the return car was fine and when I call they told me I will find out in 20 days when my deposit should return to me or not. Do yourself a favour and choose another company.

Great staff, Bad car

Desk staff and car pick up staff were very friendly and courteous. There is a ten minute walk from airport to pick up point. The car that was given to us had quite some damage to it and was very dirty, I needed to put water in the windscreen washer tank as it was empty, also needed to clean the inside screen as it was dirty. The car engine sounded bad and also kept cutting out.
