I did the Ancestry DNA test
I did the Ancestry DNA test, was not was advertised or what i wanted. No mention of ethnicity or country breakdown like other DNA tests.
Meaningless results, the ancestry map shows i'm European.
Also did not seem to pick up my 1/4 Jewish ancestry. (Mother 48%).
The ancestry map look so general it could be for any European person.
The only details it provided was a STR DNA profile, which is meaningless unless your a geneticist.
Left totally unsatisfied.

On our website we provide very detailed information about the test including a sample copy of the result and the map. This means that you could easily see the breakdown of information we provide with the result and decide whether it was detailed enough or not for your liking. We were also available via phone, email or live chat to answer any questions in advance before placing the order should our information have not been clear enough.
We therefore believe that given we provide complete information about the test, the purchase decision by yourself was taken in full knowledge of what information you would be receiving. Unless of course this information was not reviewed carefully in advance in which case the comments on this review are in our opinion unfair.
We also offer an advanced ancestry test called GPS Origins that provides a more detailed breakdown of origins by country which may have suited your requirements better. Complete details of this test including a sample report are provided online making comparison between our various offerings easier.
Having said all this, we still would like to see if we can make your experience better and we are happy to offer the GPS Origins test with a discount if interested to explore your ancestry further. We invite you to review our website again and kindly contact our team if interested.

Wrong results (said boy and it's a girl)
Wrong results. I did the test in week 15, I followed the instructions, they told me it was a boy. The result is definitively wrong (healthy girl saw in the fetal scan at week 22).
I am waiting for the refund.

The baby gender test is a highly sensitive test and even the slightest male contamination can result in an incorrect result. Whilst we have no doubt that you followed our instructions when collecting the sample, it is impossible to obtain the result of Boy when you are having a Girl unless there has been external contamination. The test is run with control samples to ensure that the actual testing was done correctly and if there had been an issue with the actual test it would have been flagged by the laboratory.
In addition, please note that at the moment there is no conclusive evidence you are having a girl. There may be cases where ultrasounds provide an incorrect result when it comes to baby gender as you can see through this link - http://www.nhs.uk/chq/pages/1642.aspx?categoryid=54&subcategoryid=128. This is especially possible with baby boys and is often due the genitals not being well visible (due to the position of the baby) or the sonographer not being able to determine the shape of a penis and scrotum between your baby’s legs. Just because the sonographer could not see a penis, it does not mean the baby is going to definitely be a girl.
We provide a very clear refund policy which involves a full refund if the result of the test is incorrect – even though there is potential contamination. However, this can only be done against definite proof of gender post birth.
We invite you to get in touch with us once your baby is born and we will happily provide a refund should the test result be confirmed as wrong.

Test pack arrived promptly and good detailed instructions allowed a successful test to be taken easily.
Results arrived in good time and the report is very well outlined and written so as to allow you to understand each section of the findings in order.
Actually makes for a very good read!

So simple
This was a tricky situation for me and my family, but Easy DNA made it easy! Very fast service, we received the tests at two separate locations within 2 days. I had questions which the telephone staff were very patient and efficient at answering. I would easily recommend this company, the price is cheap but the service is 1st class.

Excellent service.
The service was impeccable! I hadn't an X chromosome test with a potential half sister, the test results came back over a week before they were due. The custermer service is great too. I have used this company twice. Friends and family have too, we all share the same positive experience. Great company!

Good efficient service
Never had reason to use a DNA testing service before so didn't have the first idea who to choose. This is a good, genuine company, with real people who don't mind talking to you on the phone if you have questions. Results were back promptly - not the result we expected, but that's not Easydna's fault! Would definitely use them again.
