Gone downhill for buyers

Gone downhill for buyers. Still OK for used goods from private sellers.
Buying new clothes: Time consuming and frustrating site features.
Too many experiences of waiting and waiting for orders, that were never even sent. Or the advertised delivery date is off by a week or more. No trouble getting refunded, but so frustrating. Such waste of time. Last straw was no notification or collection number for Click and Collect purchase. They fixed it quickly, but I'd been told by Ebay chat advisor (had to negotiate useless robot first) it could take 72 hours (thankfully only 2). It had included a wasted journey to the C&C shop, and more frustration; and means another trip to C&C tomorrow. A fruther delay in receiving equipment I need, including not notifying me 2 days ago when it arrived at store.
Ps, also discovered, via Ebay, a top brand of t-shirt, is now absolute rubbish
The 'other' site for me now. They invested in reliability. Fed up with Ebay after 17 years

Worst platform to sell the goods

This web site is the worst metode to sell the goods, is hard to find any options when you listing something, is difficult confirm any bank details, 3 days I can't confirm my bank account because there are some issues, but % for selling is very high, i think this company stacked in 90's, very bad experience

I bought a Samsung z-flip phone as a guest on ebay. The phone has a one year warranty but it stopped working. I contacted the seller directly but refused to address my query unless I go through ebay. I can not contact ebay directly except through their robot and using the online contact form which go unanswered it is almost a month. The one year warranty expires this August and I fear that I will just end up losing my money.

Avoid eBay like the plague!

Sold a brand new phone on eBay, person kept it for 4 months then said they wanted to return it as wanted to go back to an apple device, I refused, eBay bizarrely sided with them and gave them a full refund!! I ended up £250 out of pocket!! I've closed my account and would urge others to...no protection with eBay any more and the absolute worst customer service and constant, contradictory lies from their agents...

Bought a part from a company trading on eBay called cponline15 actually really R T G Automotive they sent me the wrong part I have tried to upload a picture according to their instructions of the wrong part I did receive but guess what it won't upload I hold eBay responsible as they must have been aware of this company's terrible reputation which I only found out about after making my purchase

HAD A SELLER WHO SENT ME A WATCH STORAGE BOX WHICH I DID NOT ORDER WITH HIM AT THE PRICE HE PUT ORDER THROUGH AT.E BAY TOOK PAYMENT FOR THE BOX WITHOUT MY CONSENT.WHEN I CHALLENGED THIS WITH BOTH THE SELLER AND EBAY I GOT ABUSE FROM THE SELLER AND EBAY WRONGLY BACKED THE SELLER AFTER MY LENGHTHY EXPLANATIONS TO THEM. I GOT VARIOUS AGENTS FROM EBAY BUT NONE TOOK IT UPON THEMSELVES,IN MY OPINION, TO ACTUALLY TAKE ON BOARD WHAT WAS BEING RELAYED TO THEM.

Bough an iPhone 12 Pro Max on eBay 16th…

Bough an iPhone 12 Pro Max on eBay 16th December. I got a message from eBay saying the phone had been despatched. When I tracked the phone via eBay it kept flashing a message the courier DPD had not received the phone. When I tracked the phone using DPD’s website and the tracking number the seller had provided it stated the tracking number was not recognised. I have contacted the seller and got no reply. I have spent all afternoon today going round and round in circles trying to contact eBay’s customer support with no success The chat bot is a total waste of time. If and when I get my money back I will be closing my eBay account.

Don't sell within EBAY

Don't sell within EBAY, I've sold an item, the seller broke it and complaint and they just sent it back the refund without even check my original pictures and compare with the buyer picture. Their Customer Service is useless, I had IDRI helping me, no anwer, their SLA is around 10 days and no personalisation at all, just a simple template from their system. I am cancelling my account because they took my money without my approval, very bad!!! do not sell or buy on EBAY UK

\i bought item from ebay ,was from germany Isaw to late ,was posted and then I saw sellers sell incomplete item ok I said i was stupid.Final price was 230 pouds,and then two weeks latter I have to paid 60 pounds more becouse ebay never told me about need to pay tax from eu.Ebay mixed inside and outside sellers to get people in trap to take money for them they dont care about other tax for us. Worst company ever.

I’ve sold multiple items and have a 100% feedback score. I sold a sofa for £780 (after eBay take their exorbitant 12% cut) and my payment has been put on hold for a whole month! Who the f does this company think they are holding onto my funds for a whole month because they classify the sofa as ‘high value’. It is not high value. Maybe a car or a boat but not a f £780 sofa. The buyer gave the movers the delivery code. Buyer is happy with the sofa. I’m happy with the sale but eBay is holding onto my funds for a whole month for my f ‘safety’. Am taking my business to Gumtree and Facebook marketplace. Suck my balls ebay.

12 day dystopian nightmare

Dealing with EBay customer service took me onto a dystopian nightmare. EBay IT glitch caused no end of problems trying to refund a buyer when I made a sizing error on my listing. I have used EBay for nearly 15 years as a private buyer/seller and am usually a buyer so did not realise how appalling the customer services are. Luck of the draw getting someone not resident in an Asian country. From hard to decipher accents to being talked over and lied to on purpose or ignorance I can't be sure. Suffice it to say it took 12 days and 20 phone calls to sort out. Will now be selling on other sites Vinted, Gumtree etc.
