My search for shoes for my classic van
I approached ebc with very limited info, in search of brake shoes for a classic van, numerous emails later they had found the shoes I needed, having used photos I’d sent to work out what I needed, I was able to order the shoes I needed - can’t thank Andrew and the team enough, they were patient and incredibly accommodating !
I’ve used yellowstuff pads on the front of the van for several years ( a revoltionary stopping experience in a 40 year old van let me tell you ), so now it’s EBC commercial compound on the back too thanks to their great service - complimentary sticker in full effect too !

Rip off merchants!
There were two alternative brake sets for my vehicle so EBC suggested I purchased both and returned the one I didn't use. The advice was to buy a "kit" plus an extra set of pads; which I did (no mention of a surcharge during this process). I spent £450 on my brakes. When I came to return the unused set they informed me there would be a 15% surcharge; cheapskates!

As stated on the website terms and conditions, any incorrect items must be notified within 30 days of receipt and will be subject to a restocking fee. This is especially the case as you would only be returning part of the kit you have ordered.
Again, we are very sorry you were not satisfied with your experience and can only hope to do better in the future, as the happiness of our customers is very important to us, but these are the policies we have in place.

Great brakes at a good price
I love the green stuff brakes and always get these fitted to my everyday car as they perform much better than standard brakes. I’ve also gotten yellow stuff more my fun car and you can feel the difference. Delivery is quick and the brakes are good value for money

Long term customer of EBC pads, 3rd car that now has them.
A great service and really top quality pads.
I bought my first set of Green Stuff pads for my Countryman Cooper S five years ago, then when my Octavia vRS needed new pads and discs, there was only one place I was going to go.
Fast forward to November and my 2021 M235i needed both front and rear pads, again, there was no other choice of brand. I went to EBC again. I've now fitted YellowStuff pads all round and could not be happier.

Thought I would try the new blue stuff…
Thought I would try the new blue stuff brake pads so Ordered a set. They came in a timely manner. I've had them on approximately 8 months now, and whilst they do give great stopping power, they're very noisy, and can be a bit inconsistent on initial press of the pedal, nothing much happens first of all then as you press the pedal harder you get a lot more braking power, quite difficult brake smoothly, so not really suitable for normal driving. They're also very dusty which having green stuff pads fitted previously was a disappointment as they are great low dust long lasting pads. Overall very expensive and not worth the extra outlay over the green stuff pads.

We are very sorry to hear you were not too impressed with the bluestuff pads. Unfortunately, these are more race focussed pads and as such will be noisier and need warming up before they grip more. For daily driving cars etc we always suggest yellowstuff or greenstuff as they are a more road focussed compound than blue.
We are very happy to hear, however, that you were happy with the delivery time etc though!
