This company was excellent for my bed and mattress even during these difficult times I got the bed then the mattress all within 2 was and as this is such a hard time this company still delivered I could not be more satisfied with them will defo recommend

Quite possibly the best online bed shop in the world!!

Outstanding service with an extremely friendly, knowledgeable and helpful team. Ricky & Pete went out of their way to ensure my mattress was delivered on time and in perfect condition. Any worries I may have had about using an independent business that I had not used before were soon thrown out of the window by Ricky's charming manner and extremely helpful approach answering all of my questions and queries concisely and clearly and instantly putting my mind to rest. Pricewise Ebedz are also outstanding offering a huge range of products at hugely discounted prices that you would never be able to see in the shops. I cannot rate this company highly enough, the professionalism, service, range and price are all deserving of 5 star rating. Highly recommended and I wish you and your team all the very best success.

Recommended

A great selection of mattresses. I called to ask a few questions before placing my order and Ricky was very helpful and I completed the purchase over the phone.

Communication was great.

The delivery was problematic and the delivery company damaged the mattress in transit however Ricky resolved the issue and the item was delivered directly by the manufacturer.

Would definitely recommend- fully committed to getting my mattress delivered- a small business worth supporting!

fast next day delivery on mattress

Ordered a mattress in lockdown and was delivered the next day. Very Impressed given other items i have ordered from other shops keep putting the delivery day back.
Highly impressed with ebedz. The mattress us very comfortable as well.

I ordered a new Mattress from Ebedz, was advertised as a premier inn mattress to which after the nightmare in delivery which I will get into next is not a premier inn mattress.. far from it.

Regarding delivery I paid for the option to have my old mattress taken away on delivery of the new one. This was for convenience. Also it states 48 hour delivery, well 4 days after ordering I got a message from a company they use DX for the delivery. I waited in and not only were they late they didn’t have my new mattress just there to collect the old one. I let them take it as I was told by the driver my delivery must be coming later for the new one.

I called ebedz a hour later and was informed my mattress would now be delivered the following day, so this left me with nothing to sleep on that night with a ill wife. The next day I received nothing and no communication. I called Ebedz what must have been 20 times that day with no answer and no response to voicemails left. I then later that night sent a email and was responded to the following morning. They informed me the mattress was now coming the day after so this is now two nights with no mattress and three days off work waiting in for a delivery. I expressed my dissatisfaction and that I would like a refund for the delivery and collection service, they advised me they would speak to DX the delivery company blaming them entirely.. 5 days after delivery I contacted Ebedz again asking for some clarification on the matter and was advise no compensation will be awarded, that DX said no basically. My understanding is that I paid the money to Ebedz not DX so I don’t know why it would be coming from them anyway. Surely Ebedz need to be held accountable as my purchase for all services was with them, never in there website does it state they use a external delivery service. I argued this and all the blame was put on DX and Covid issues. I strongly recommend staying away from his company, they lie, they false advertise and don’t take any responsibility for their very poor customer service and communication.

All round awful experience.

Great professional service

Great service from Ebedz. Ricky was professional and helpful from initial ordering through to delivery. After the courier company made a mistake he went out of his way to ensure it was rectified quickly and effectively. Wouldn’t hesitate to place another order.

Excellent start to finish

Great service speaking with both Neil and Mike explaining how different memory foam mattresses are to sprung ones and the benefits of both . Mattress delivered to my bedroom and the delivery guys even put it straight on my bed so I didnt have to worry about dragging it around my home and up the stairs. Can't wait to have my first proper night sleep tonight after months of agony, arrived much quicker than expected, quoted 5 days and arrived in 2!

Super fast delivery + perfect nights sleep!

I purchased a 5ft Premier mattress which said 24-48 hours delivery on Thursday afternoon and it arrived Friday at 3pm! Super quick delivery and the mattress is lovely, finally having a good nights sleep with my bad back! Thanks to Neil for helping me choose which mattress would suit me and helping me through it all on the phone as I couldn't work it out online :) x

This was my second purchase in recent years from ebedz, a mattress for my spare room, I didn't want anything too expensive as it was only for guests to stay in for the odd night. Ricky talked me through various options and I ended up getting a memory foam mattress, it's great and just what I needed. Will definitely come back to ebedz for any future purchases.

Take next day delivery off your site advertising!!!
In response to reply : I was the customer chasing up that led you to discover about factory furlough and delivery collection delays. It’s your advertising and customer systems and service that warranted the low rating. If you can change your advertising with a statement around not being able to guarantee delivery time within the current restrictions- that’s more honest. Also you need systems to check if deliveries have been made rather than finding out from disappointed customers.

Apologies about the delay in your mattress, the factory are on flexy furlough at the moment and are closed on Thursday's, Friday's and Monday's which was the issue. They now have office staff that are going to open the factory up to allow our drivers to collect mattresses during the day that the floor staff are furloughed, and all of our deliveries are again arriving with our customers in the 48 hours we promise. I really am sorry about the inconvenience and delays you had with your order and the fact it arrived later than promised.

Terrible customer service and delivery

Ordered two matteresses on October 2nd 2020 and paid £699. Few weeks later was told only one had arrived and only one had been ordered. Ricky offered to send one out which I declined as I said I wanted two at the same time, he ordered another and I was told I would receive these on the Monday before Christmas, one turned up the other got lost, lost by Tuffnells . I asked to send the one back and have a refund but was told I would have to pay to send it back but he promised me yet again another would be ordered and delivered ASAP. I was then promised Thursday, then Friday and then definitely Monday it would be delivered Tuffnells again didn’t know where it was , guess what didn’t turn up ,so My wife called Ricky , upset and stressed as we have been waiting since October and needed these for medical reasons only for him to be very unhelpful and hung up on her, wouldn’t return my calls or emails, eventually turned up today and luckily it was well wrapped in plastic as it was in a terrible dirty state. I spent probably over 6 hours chasing, phoning couriers , online chats, emails,Be warned if you have a problem Ricky will make out it’s your fault and not his or the couriers, won’t answer your calls or may even hang up. We bought our bed from them years ago so went back to get new mattresses, never again buy elsewhere if you have any sense. No offer of compensation nothing , even told him I will leave this review, no response!Oh and he will probably reply to this to state we are wrong and not him !

I received this email tonight from Ricky himself from his personal phone not company email what a nice chap he is :-
Lied to? Crack on the feedback will be given back then. Even gave you my personal email and number to help. Your wife was beyond disgusting on the phone and we record all calls. So say whatever you like. Any feedback you leave im happy to receive but I will reply to it straightforwardly. I have done nothing but help you. But crack on if you want to destroy a family because you can't be home to accept deliveries and want to accuse everyone of theft. I don't want your custom in future.

We waited in every time we were told it would arrive, my wife had had enough and couldn’t take it anymore, one mattress went missing so where did it go ?As you record all calls perhaps you can look up how many times you said our mattress would turn up today ! We paid for two mattresses on October 2nd and got one 3 days before Christmas FACT ! He is never wrong, customers are 2nd best !

Thanks for your reply, we understand some things were beyond your control, although you have addressed most things and apologised, Ricky’s email to me came after the mattress was delivered and after I said I was going to leave a review NOT after directly speaking to my wife which was Friday 5 days before. He’s attitude was totally unprofessional and am pleased you have spoken to him , if he had just called me on the day the 2nd mattress had turned up and had apologised and made sure everything was ok i probably wouldn’t even had left a review . Thanks

22/08/21 still nothing, absolutely no chance of getting compensation as stated from their MD below ! all lip service you have been warned if anything goes wrong it’s your fault not theirs!

Hi Phil

Thanks your feedback. Having looked into this for you, I can see the mattress you ordered was a Furmanac one. These take 3-4 weeks to be made, in error, they delivered just one to us which you asked us not to send out until the second one was with us. Ricky then chased this up with Furmanac to ensure the second one was sent down straight away, however we then went into lockdown and the factory stopped production, which delayed it until they re-opened in December. We got this one collected directly by Tuffnells to go straight to you, and they unfortunately lost the mattress (at our expense and we provided tracking for you to show you this was the case) and as the initial mattress was coming from us, this arrived with you so you had received one mattress and still not the second one. We put an urgent call into Furmanac but this was at the time around Christmas, where all bed suppliers go on a minimum 2 weeks closure. They couldn't get us another one made until they re-opened on January 4th, when the order was then collected a week later (3 weeks quicker than normal), we sent it down to ourselves as you didn't trust Tuffnells and we were going to use an alternative courier collection from ourselves, but as this was going to take slightly longer I can see on the emails you opted to go for the faster delivery rather than the 2 man service, so our only faster option was to get the item delivered by Tuffnells again, who ended up mis-routing it from their Plymouth depot which made it arrive 4-5 days late. I really do apologise about the situation, and I can see Ricky gave you his personal details to help you with any out of business hours questions you had to ensure you were kept up to date, which he did throughout the last few months, some email responses to you were very late in the evening to ensure you were being looked after. His email to you at the end of the process is certainly unacceptable and we have spoken with him, but looking at the times and dates on the emails this was after your wife called earlier in the day and spent 20 minutes shouting down the phone at him without letting him explain the situation. We've dealt with Ricky and his handling of this situation as it is clearly beyond unsatisfactory , and I understand the inconveniences caused throughout this entire process. Unfortunately due to Christmas shutdowns and mistakes throughout the network with ordering and delivering, combined with the two lockdowns we've had since you placed your order and the delivery of your mattress, it is has lead to an appalling delivery timescale for your order. I will pass this over to our customer care team to offer you some compensation. I hope now you that you have received both the mattresses, albeit late, you are enjoying them and having some excellent nights sleep on them.

Have to say I cannot believe the previous review. My experience of Ebedz is that they are an excellent company and so easy to deal with.
This is my second purchase in 18 months and I would certainly use this company again.

The poorest Customer Ever but plenty of excuses.

My advice is dont buy. I paid £1728 for a bed over 5 weeks ago. All I get is excuses & whilst appreciate that Millbrook Beds are the manufacturer I paid ebedz for it & so my contract is with them. Even though I have said that if I dont get an answer today on when my bed will be delivered & installed all I have got again is empty promises of action. I dont like leaving this review but I dont have a choice. Even after Millbrook beds website was proven to be incorrect in stating the wrong availability of the fabrics available I had to pay £50 extra to have what I thought I was getting. That was a further delay & still I have had no communications from either company UNLESS I contact them.
They dont appear to be worried that I will take the matter legal at the close of business today but I will. I take from this that it isnt unusual for this to happen.
Millbrook made reference to being able to make& deliver a bed in 48 hours, well that's just a joke. During the course of my order Millbrook allowed virtually everyone in the company to go to a bed exhibition so there was no one to send out fabric samples & that is disgraceful & was blamed onto me buying a bed at an inconvenient time for them. It was at the beginning of the year like January sales.
As I have said I purchased from Ebedz & they should have ensured I got my bed & they didn't. Its a lot of money to spend to get nothing.

Thanks for your review. You made your final payment for the bed on 30th January at 4.01pm, 3 weeks after posting this review, not five. Millbrook produce beds on a 48hr delivery service in the Taupe fabric, you said you hated this fabric and then looked on Millbrooks website (Their website isn't for the general public, it's for retailers as they don't sell to the public). You then selected a fabric that was only available for divan beds and not the adjustable beds which you had ordered, we then let you know that this could be done after Millbrook very kindly spoke to their warehouse team in the factory, but at an extra cost as they don't have the right size fabrics in stock to cut for the adjustable beds and said this would take 3-4 weeks to be made - You said you were in absolutely no rush and that was fine. The bed is going to be delivered to you this week (bang in the middle of our 3-4 week estimate). After checking our phone records, I can see that I myself (Ricky) spent well over 2 hours on the phone to you in the lead up to this sale, including 46 minutes in the initial call to go through everything and to answer all your questions, so I think it is a bit dishonest to say you have had the 'poorest customer care ever' (something which you have said on numerous reviews to other companies), in fact you've had beyond exceptional care throughout. I do remember you making comments in that first call however, they you got paid to do reviews on Trustpilot (something that is against their T+Cs) and also made a slight threat about using your 'clout' if everything wasn't OK and initially said you would do this against just Millbrook and not ourselves - Curiousness did get the better of me and I've had a quick look down your account and to see who you have left reviews on in the past seem to verify this. 1 star reviews for companies you have genuinely bought from and threatened like ourselves, and 5 star reviews from companies that have paid you to leave reviews. Have you ever thought to yourself maybe it's you, and not the companies? I don't know anyone who has left as many 1 star reviews on companies as you have.

You know that we are a small business and this review will damage us greatly, yet have decided to give us a 1 star review anyway, despite having over 2 hours of customer care, having the bed at a discounted special price and the bed is also being delivered to you exactly as promised within the approximate 3-4 weeks.

I hope this clears things up for other potential customers who are looking down our reviews.
