We offer an eco-friendly, long term solution which will reduce heat loss through your windows. This will help you to heat your rooms more effectively and in turn save you money on your heating bills. Ecoease secondary glazing will also reduce or more often completely clear up the condensation on your windows. Creating a pocket of static air between your cold glass window pane and the warmer PET glazing panel. Ecoease provides very effective acoustic insulation too - working as a baffle to reduce outside noise for a more peaceful home environment. Unlike many secondary glazing systems, Ecoease is discreet and unobtrusive with no permanent modification needed to your windows. As such it is perfect for Listed buildings and character properties as no planning permission is required. We were uncertain about whether reducing our energy use with plastic panels was sensible but, given that they can be removed in the spring and set in place for winters to come, we got over it. The only reason this is not a five star review is the amount of additional plastic (protective sheets, bubblewrap and lots of packing tape) that goes into the shipping of these easily damaged panels. Finding sustainable packaging is going to be tough.
We are ordering more panels for other rooms today.
