It’s not scratching my body or anything, it’s warm and it’s very sweet to the touch !
I personally recommend it if you want to look like a Jedi or go on hike and not being cold !

Regarding the smell you noticed—this can sometimes happen with natural fibers. It’s actually due to lanolin, a natural oil found in llama and wool fibers. It occasionally gives off a stronger scent, especially right after unpacking. But you did exactly the right thing! A light wash and some fresh air help dissipate it completely.

Amazing temperature regulation!!
These are literally my favorite blankets I've ever owned. They're so soft and lightweight, warm enough for winter, yet don't make me sweat at all, so I'll keep using them year-round. My old polyester blankets somehow made me sweat and left me cold at the same time and felt too heavy. I ordered the Chontamarca and Cajabamba, and the colors are even more beautiful than the pictures on the site. I already washed cold/gentle and dried flat (no dryer) and they're just as soft and vibrant. Some fuzz but that's normal for natural fibers. I wish I needed more lol since I want more of them. Shipping was super fast even during the holidays and the company included some chocolate and a postcard, which was sweet. Highly recommend.

The blankets are made with acrylic and their process to fluff the surface of the blanket throws hairs everywhere even if you wash the blankets the hairs continue to come off. You cant use a dryer to suck out the hairs because the acrylic will burn. You are paying for 20% plastic blankets

I absolutely would NOT recommend to deal with this company! Buyer be aware! The return process is horrible! They don’t warn you that you will have to send it back to Ecuador(!) and pay international fees! I ordered a blanket. 80% wool 20% acrylic. I was not happy with the quality. The blanket sheds an lot. The smell of fabric is unpleasant and the color is not as nice as in the picture. All this would not be a problem if I could easily return the product. I paid about $80 for this blanket and to return back to Ecuador I would have to pay about $100! This is a scam business!
