Effecto signed me up for a membership that I did not want and in order to cancel they are charging me a fee. Their site loses me when I try to get the code from E-mail and they are wanting the monthly fee of over $100 plus a cancellation if I can find out how to keep their site on line instead of disappearing.

The questions opened my eyes to what has been me for a while and now it’s good to know there is help.

I was excited to try the app so I signed up but once I said yes and chose my payment method, I was inundated with what felt like a never-ending series of ads trying to upsell me on all sorts of add-ons, forcing me to endure and click thru every single one just to finish paying for the only thing I actually wanted to try. Very disappointing experience. Makes me question whether I should have signed up for this at all. I truly hope this doesn't turn out to be yet another gimmick. Time will tell but, based on the checkout process, I've already marked my calendar to remind me to cancel before the next automatic payment kicks in.

Hijacking payments. Too many offers, once you purchase, you get bombarded with offers so can't close the page. It's a bad way of selling in my view.

A bunch of scamming thieves! I cancelled a subscription the same day and I get charged 2 months later. Their excuse? Oh the cancellation didn’t come through to us because you cancelled it on your Apple device but not directly with us! I didn’t even subscribe, I only downloaded the app and then read the fine print that they would charge me in a matter of days if I didn’t cancel. So I did. They are refusing to refund me even though this was cancelled ages ago! Stay away!!!!!!
Edit: Their reply is also a scam as they still refuse to refund me!!!!!

I signed up end of February for a 14-day trial for US$0.99. I didn't like the product, the email marketing campaign itself was sloppy, intrusive and confusing. Imagine my surprise when I suddenly found my credit card had been charged US$79 for a 3-month subscription. I've approached them twice for a refund, and each time they refused quoting their "no refunds" policy. All they did was cancel my account to avoid any further charges.I'm now disputing the billing through my credit card company. UPDATE: They refunded my money without my having to write yet another email to customer service.

I cannot remember what your type of selling is called but I suppose it’s similar to the Puppy Dog sale-ie no matter what incentives’your give us clients, you attempt to encourage us to add on shed loads of your other products at checkout which in my case,is unaffordable besides-I’m dyslexic.
However, you have diadnosed through your psychiatric test that I am in need of a course like your are offering. So “on with the Motley+ I will try and givr it my best shot! Sincerely Trevor Coffey UK (Litttlehampton(

I had a great experience with this app. It started out with my identifying very much with the man's experiences with ADHD. The app is professionally put together.

I have been charged for a recurring subscription that I did not knowingly enter and I am not getting any satisfaction from David the manager I presume... eight months I have been charged for and not only did I not subscribe but I also never received a product which is very suspicious tbh.
All I'm getting is that my email subscribed to this company through my PayPal account...I hope PayPal will be able to sort this out for me. I don't even know what it's about 05

The signing up process is a bit frustrating. Once you make the initial subscription purchase, there is an endless stream of other offers. Makes me question the validity of this app.
