We very much enjoyed our tour of Italy with EF Tours and Virginia our exceptional guide. My daughter was in the travel club and I accompanied the tour to help out. The bus driver Mario was awesome, the tour leader was great, fun, enagaging, and informative. We always knew what each day would bring. The sites chosen were great, and we learned so much. Highly recommend it to anyone!
Well organized. Great experience for students. Dinner options should have been better
The last hotel was too remote and should not be used in future. We had a medical emergency in the middle of the night and it could have gone horribly wrong. Other than that, the trip was fabulous.
A trip to Italy that gave a taste of some of the MANY places to explore nd learn about. It may be more worthwhile to spend more time in fewer locations.
Elsa and Gesualdo were the most amazing tour directors! They were so friendly, caring, and full of interesting information. I would go on a trip with them again in a heartbeat!

EF Tours Canada organized a school trip to Italy, and as parents, we understood that coordinating such a large group of students involved significant responsibility, organization, and leadership. The tour guides from EF Tours were not only friendly but also highly knowledgeable. They went above and beyond by giving a thoughtful birthday gift to one of the students who was celebrating during the trip. However, the accommodations arranged for the group could definitely be improved. While we appreciated the efforts made, the quality of the rooms left much to be desired. The bathrooms had mold, and all the hotels were quite far from the cities the students were visiting, which resulted in long hours spent on the road. Considering the cost of the trip, we expected accommodations that were at least clean, comfortable, and closer to the cities they were exploring. These improvements would make the experience more worth the money EF Tours charged.
Our main guides were spectacular. The location for our Rome stay, Villa Vilente, had no cell service and the WiFi was inadequate. All breakfasts could have been enhanced with the addition of more / any fruit. I would have preferred it if our guides could have selected the guides for the Vatican tour. The Pompeii experience may have been better without a guide, giving us free time to explore the sight.

Great tour! Really shows the geography of Italy when you add on the extension to Pompei and Capri. Really has such a variety of experiences just in one country!
