-1 YES MINUS 1 HUNDRED BILLION…

-1 YES MINUS 1 HUNDRED BILLION MILLION

is too high a score for this SCAM of a company.

Avoid Somerset Bridge Insurance Company

Avoid Go Skippy - this is a BROKER that is a Subsidiary of Somerset Bridge Insurance Company

AVOID ELDON insurance company - who were the previous name of Somerset Bridge Insurance Company.

So my Son, was involved in a RTA - to which the other side have admitted that they ARE at fault ....

So this should be straightforward.

My Sons car was taxed and MOT'd and insured fully comprehensively at the time of the accident. The accident being some 8 weeks ago.

The other side admitted full liability about 4 weeks into this process ............ as well as admitting causing injuries to my son and his passenger.

The vehicle has been with a garage since the day of the accident. The garage ........... has done an assessment and forwarded a claim to GO Skippy and Somerset Bridge Insurance Company.

They have taken so long to process this that the MOT on my son's vehicle has since run out.

The car is in PIECES .......... due to the nature of the RTA.

Somerset Bridge are demanding that before they pay out the claim the car has to be MOT"d .....

Despite my son authorising me to speak to them on his behalf ........... I have today spent nearly 6 hours on the phone ............. most of it on hold .......... and still have no answer to this question ............

WHY DOES THE CAR NEED A NEW MOT ...... BEFORE THEY CAN PAY OUT ..........

WHEN THE CAR WAS MOT'D AT THE TIME OF THE ACCIDENT ............

AND HOW CAN A CAR IN PIECES FROM AN ACCIDENT BE MOT'D ..........

This is yet another way to prolong the timeline and the claim in the hopes that my son gives up snd pays for the repairs himself.

MEANWHILE ............ they have taken his direct debit each month for his insurance policy ........... a policy covering the car that is currently in the garage in bits and is not drivable.........

So in short ............

Absolutely disgusting customer service.

They expect you to jump through so many hoops it is impossible to get a straight answer.

Somerset Bridge DO NOT TALK to or SEE the the information that Go Skippy collect. So if you update your documents or files on Go Skippy Portal (as you are advised to do ............ then Somerset Bridge do NOT have access to this .............)

My son has now ended up seeing our local GP and is receiving help for STRESS and ANXIETY caused by this company.

I have tried to speak to the insurers of the other side and they have said they have sent everything needed to Somerset Bridge ..........

My next step to help my SON

The finanacial Ombudsman

and

Rip Off Britain on BBC1.

Its about time this company was stopped.

1 star ⭐️ is too much!!!

1 star ⭐️ is too much!!!! I don’t no where to start with this useless company, so on the 29/05/2021 I was hit by a drink driver who was arrested at the crash. So after sending cctv of my crash that clearly shows me driving correctly they have said I was at fault. I have spoke to the police officer that is dealing with this and he is baffled to how they are holding me responsible. Very rude people that work there say they will call you with updates never do. Don’t let you talk. The last lady I spoke to told me that it’s okay to drink drive as long as you drive properly (WHAT A JOKE) I will 💯 be going to seek legal advise as to where I stand with the support of the police. I have been left with stress anxiety and no support from them from the word go. Oh sorry they was on the ball providing me with a nice car and soon as they said I was at fault they told me that within the hour it would be collected. DO NOT GO ANYWHERE NEAR THIS COMPANY THEY ARE USLESS AND UNPROFESSIONAL. NEEDS INVESTING AND THEN THEY WILL PROBABLY CHANGE THERE NAME AGAIN TO DODGE ALL THE BAD REVIEWS… STAY CLEAR

The worst insurance company ever

The worst insurance company ever. Avoid like a plague. Terrible customer service, terrible procedures. They paid out a claim on a greedy lying leech of a woman that hit my car and claimed for whiplash. Disgusting company, despite sending them video evidence of this woman admiting she saw me and didnt stop dispite this woman being a new driver and having a P plate on her car, dispite her admiting she was going over 30. They still paid out and disallowed my ncd which was at 5 years and would have been at 6 years. Customer service rude and horrible. Avoid this insurance company if u know whats good for you.

They are such a disgusting vile…

They are such a disgusting vile company. Complete scammers. How they are still allowed to carry on and take on new insurers is a joke. Ignore at all cost do not have them insure you. Also the customer service they offer is absolutely vile. The girl on the phone was the most rude human I have ever spoke to. Very rude, very slimey, gives me jitters in my belly thinking they are still legit. Needs to be investigated.

Go Skippy and Eldon insurance caused me…

Go Skippy and Eldon insurance caused me anxiety issues!
Go Skippy, Eldon insurance avoid like the plague.
Nearly 2years on after some1 plowed into my car while I was stationary at red traffic lights.
Go Skippy have now allowed this driver to take me to court! Even their own solicitors don't understand how this has gone this far as it's plain to see I wasn't at fault at all. A 2 year old could see this.
Absolutely disgusting, unsupportive company whom have caused me huge anxiety issues. Basically they don't give 2 hoots and have also caused me huge stresses over last 2years.
Also owe me over £400 excess which I shouldn't have been made to pay.
Don't be a fool like me read all their terrible reviews!
NB there's alot of fake positive reviews for them in here. Just saying

Useless insurance company

Would give 0 stars if I could! Called up on Saturday to add a named driver onto my Debenhams insurance policy (since I don’t have an option to do it online which is so stupid) and the lady was really rude throughout our conversation. She put me on hold for about 10 minutes and then proceeded to hang up on me! Absolutely ridiculous. AVOID THIS INSURANCE COMPANY AT ALL COSTS!

Joke of a company (REPORTING TO OMBUDSMAN)

I had a non fault crash 4 months ago and I haven't had one phone call from them since, they referred me straight to a 3rf party claims management company called AX (accident exchange) without my permission to my knowledge, since then AX have provided me with a hire car and also told me I will need to claim of my own insurance for the damage to my car as the other side is disputing the claim, so know I'm not receiving updates from anybody, I called yesterday 3 times 1st time 5 mins hold then switchboard to be told I don't have a claims handler and to be transferred the after another 40 mins the phone gets put down, 2nd the same only after 30 mins I get so called manager of the claims department, I asked for advice refuarding a matter with AX and she rudely and abruptly spoke over me to say that as AX is a 3rd party they can't get involved 5 times in a row and would let me ask for advice, she then terminated the call as I had start to shout, I have since called another 4 times with another 45 mins each time for no answer, also copart who have took my car to value are also not answering the phone currently on hold for 1 hour!!!! Avoid all these companies at all cost this is the worst experience of my driving career. My first and only review

Absolute joke of a company

Absolute joke of a company.

I was involved in a 60mph crash after a driver cut me off from the right lane moving across to the slip road. I was told, because I didn’t hit the other driver and they drove off without me able to get their details, the fault is mine. I have accepted this. But things just get worse.

I have settled a figure with copart a week ago. Apparently, copart never sent anything through to SBGL (the underwriters).

4 hours I’ve been on the phone chasing this up with 2 calls disconnected and 1 call being hung up on before even speaking to anyone.

I have had NO correspondence from SBGL during the whole ordeal. The only reason my settlement is with their accounts team to get processed is because I have had to push them to do so. I’ve basically sat and done their jobs for them.

I explained I’m missing days from work as I need the car to get there (working 17miles from my home) and that this delay and lack of urgency in their behalf is causing further delays. I asked for compensation for the delays and the 4 hours I spent chasing on the phone in one day (as mentioned above I had to contact multiple times because I was either disconnected or hung up on) and was told that it’s not their problem.

The customer service team speak to you like a robot. They couldn’t care about any impact on the customer even though their incompetence in dealing with the claim has caused all the issues.

Will never be using these again. Would give 0 stars if it were an option.

‼️ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING COMPANY‼️

‼️ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING COMPANY‼️
‼️ AVOID AVOID AVOID‼️

My house was broken into as my family slept and i had my car stolen! Horrible experience worst thing thats ever happened to me knowing someone was in our home as we slept, they have dealt with my whole situation in the worst possible way firstly by refusing to pay out over something absolutely irrelevant to the theft itself meaning my dad is a NAMED driver on my policy he recently changed his job without me even being aware of it until most recently and there saying because I didn’t tell them he changed his job there not making a offer to pay out!!! Considering the circumstances of what’s actually happened to me aswel is absolutely disgusting what does it bloody matter what a named driver’s occupation has to do with me being robbed in the night!!! literally cannot put into words how this company have treated me i feel absolutely victimized and i have never felt so stressed in all my life, including having sleepless nights and my son being scared knowing (baddies) come in and stole my car!!! My driving record and my dads driving record is clean as a whistle never had points, convictions, banned absolutely NOTHING and this insurance company throw me under the bus well they will certainly not be getting away with this i just wish i had read the reviews on here before joining them because I certainly wouldn’t of if i have known as its 1 bad review after another it’s constant, they are liable for my car otherwise whats the point in having insurance especially when bad things like this happens!! Upset the wrong person SEE YOU IN COURT!!

Outstanding customer service

I had reason to deal with the company further to a road traffic accident earlier this year. We received outstanding customer service. The team was helpful, friendly, prompt and professional throughout the claim. The personal injury team has been really supportive and has taken a genuine interest in our rehabilitation, something I wouldn’t have expected.

DO NOT USE - will do anything to avoid payout

If you use Eldon (now Somerset Bridge Insurance Services Limited) you effectively uninsured as they will certainly try and get out of a claim as they have with me. 5 years after an accident they have decided to claim my insurance was not valid at the time of the accident as they miss understood my job occupation (which really has no baring on the accident in question anyway). They are chasing me for over £8000. Stay away unless you want years of stress and worry!
