Have been with the college less than a fortnight and they have already found me local work like I requested

Elec training are the only training provider who offer a guaranteed work placement with NVQ. Liam got me one on a public sector project soon after enrolling. I have now started working full time. I’ll keep going, aiming to get qualified and competent over time. It’s also good for me to be self employed as I am someone who likes to take initiative. Site work on new build sites is exactly where I want to be and where I want to continue.

Excellent, caring, facilitating and focused company with fantastic and helpful staff. Left my details on their website, Steven called back, we spoke about the Electrical Level 3 NVQ. Told him I needed a job first that allowed me to complete it, he said they could definitely assist and somone would call me... wasn't expecting much but Liam from the recruitment team then called me, told me they could definitely find something given my experience and area and their contacts. Started receiving calls the same day, working in a self employed position with one of Liam's clients now. Looking to start the NVQ in the next month. Very impressed, have already recommended to others.

Don't recommend. Over the phone they promised a guaranteed job but in reality you have to do most of the work to get the job also it's been over a year and I still haven't received my level 2 qualification certificate. Another thing is I don't think going through a fast track course is a good idea, super stressful. You have to do a 1 year course in 6 weeks. It took me 8 weeks to complete but still stressful.
I had completed my level 3 diploma at college and couldn’t find work for my nvq or an apprenticeship, I came to elec training and they have been able to help with getting work, which I’ll be starting soon and can then progress through my level 3 nvq. Very helpful and would still be stuck without them.

Just completed my Level 2 City & Guilds Diploma in Electrical Installation at Elec Training and it has been a fantastic course. My tutors Mark and Laethian were absolutely brilliant. With nearly forty years experience in the trade between them it felt like a masterclass. It was challenging at times but they were always on hand to help and their attention to detail set a high standard of workmanship to prepare us for the real world and on-site work. I can't thank them enough for this great start to my new career. I highly recommend this course and happily give it five stars!!

On September 2025, I came to elec training college to ragester for nvq. I paid some amount of money, but still, placement did not happen. I met a few people they paid the fee for nvq but work placement elec training granted did not happen. Now I have complained to court. Wasted one year of my time .
Fantastic experience completing my Level 2 at Elec Training! Mark and Laethian are brilliant teachers. Highly recommended. 5 stars!

Within 3-4 weeks, I managed to land myself a job as an entry level electrician with level 2&3. As you know it’s difficult to get a job with no experience, but elec training managed to source one for me. Josh has been excellent, he’s helped me through every step of the way

I’d say it’s one of the fastest and more reliable ways to get your quals done and out of the way so you can get on with your career,
Having done the LVL 3- Chris was an exceptional teacher and explains and teaches in a way that’s easy to understand - whilst having a laugh. Phil was great too - extremely knowledgable.
Josh who assists and gives advice with employment was a massive help too, nice to feel heard and actually feel as if they care about their students / customers.

I thoroughly enjoyed completing the Level 2 Electrical course. The tutors (Nima, Mark & Laethian) were supportive, professional, and always available to help. The combination of classroom learning and practical activities made the course engaging and easy to follow. I have gained valuable knowledge and furthered my skills that will only benefit me in the future. I would definitely recommend this course to others interested in starting there journey into becoming electricians.

The tutors we had have professional and industry experience. Mark and Laethian were like hands on regarding everything they taught us, giving us individual interactions to see whether one knows what he was doing especially when doing practical installations for Electrical Level 2 City and Guilds. Their teaching methods are second to non.

We have been using Elec Training for a while and we have very good rapport with Liam specifically. Nothing is ever too much trouble. We as a company have very specific needs in regards to finding the right candidates to carry out the type of work we do and Liam always delivers. Highly recommend Liam and the team at Elec Training.

Done my Level 2, Level 3 and just signed up for my Level 3 NVQ. Will review the whole process once I’ve finished but so far the people there, I.e the tutors (Mark, Neil, Laethian, Chris and Phil), the salesman (Richard) and the careers person (Liam) have been great.
The tutors went out of their way to make sure that the course was enjoyable and that I learned as much as possible in the short time I was there.
Richard was great from the start, always available for a chat, even post payment and also was always really happy to see you whenever you come across him in the centre.
Liam was really good, kept in touch throughout the process, helped with the CV, gave me lots of tips for job hunting and got me an interview that has lead to a job that I start 6th July.
