We absolutely LOVE our new sofa. It was very easy to put together and it’s so sturdy and strong! The only issue we had is not all the parts were included in the box. That being said, customer service was EXCEPTIONAL! They were apologetic and kind and fixed the problem right away. They overnighted the missing parts and I was completely satisfied. I would recommend this company and this product 100 times over!

My wife and I ordered the L5 section and after some shipping issue which weren't Elephants fault, we received our couch and ottoman and couldn't be happier. We were a little skeptical putting it together as to whether it would be sturdy or not but once it was together it is extremely sturdy! All the pieces seem to work as one! Great couch we are excited to have it in our home. Side not the customer service people were amazing helping me track my shipments and making calls to DHL. They are the best! Highly recommended elephant in a box!

We were very happy with the response from Elephant. They were receptive to the issues we faced and we have received new couches. This new version handeled all of the issues that the first version was lacking in. I still have a small wiggle on the arm but that is 100% from my toddler perching on the arms being spiderman lol. The new couches have been very hearty to all my boys and their wrestling and general boy manners. Thank you very much to their customer service they were really friendly and easy to work with. ***
I have given our couches a solid month of use by my family before writing my review. I will say I had to reach out to customer service before the second couch even arrived and they did a great job providing service to ship out a couch to us asap. We ordered 2 couches for our living room configuration and family needs. 1 arrived very quickly with the 2nd shortly behind thanks to some shipping issues. Again customer service was helpful with that. The couches were overall easy to set up, easy to move around, and bigger than expected. However, the back portions have a serious issue on both couches with staying in place if moved or jostled. This isn't a problem if the couch is against a wall but the couch with no wall support opens at the back corner if the kids sit or lean on it from the corner. It's a constant issues i have to fix. The couches themselves are sturdy-ish and the main selling point for me was being sturdy as i have 3 boys 16, 10, and 2. However, these couch are already showing wear in the cushions after just a month. The sagging into the lip on the front couch is a sad sight. The couches still feel sturdy but used for sure. Will they last like they should I highly doubt it. The fabric is already wearing for us. My boys are rough and being in quarantine we are home well all the time lol so the couches are seeing us a lot. I might see if the leather cover will hold better someday or keep patching the fabric. The arms already have a wiggle to them and I fear they will gove way soon. Hopefully this is an easy fix??? The back cushions are not useful the kids call them long pillows and use them as such. I definitely think more filling is needed or a denser foam for them to be cushions. Overall for the price these felt more like an Ikea couch. These couches were a purchase I made for me hoping I could enjoy one piece of furniture my children had not ruined lol. I guess I will have to keep dreaming until the college years come round!!

This sofa was a great choice for me as it needed to make it into an older house, with its twists and turns, up stairs, and into a somewhat smaller room. The sofa looks great and I was able to get it in and put together on my own. People who have seen it have been really impressed! I am very happy with my choice and the service and delivery were perfect.

I love this couch. I actually chatted customer service ahead of time because I was concerned about the weight capacity (as I have a big family). I was assured it would be strong enough...and it is! It's the sturdiest couch I've ever had. I can't believe what looks like origami is so solid. I guess that's the secret to their engineering. Plus, there's a lifetime warranty. Aside from that, I loved the convenience of getting it shipped in a couple of days, in one manageable box. I would recommend this couch to anyone.

This is a great company to work with. Customer service is top notch. Every concern or question I had was responded to the same day or the next. They go out of their way to make you happy. I gave them a 4 only because the back was too low and cushions lacked support and was hard to work with to make comfortable. We had to take the couch apart a few times to get it right because the directions needed a few more steps added. Elephant in a box is a great concept but could be awesome with a few more adjustments to the product.

The large box was opened when I got to it. Otherwise It was a lot of fun to build. Also I was hoping the armrest desk didn’t make it go so much higher than the seat; it is a great end table so I can’t complain too much. A bit smaller seating arrangement than I imagined, but it certainly beats a futon so I’m happy!

Love this couch. Honestly do not know how they are able to fit it into a box. Nice firm couch that, once assembled, is quite durable. Customer service is amazing. They get back to you immediately.

The couch was easy to assemble with 2 people and seems pretty sturdy. One of the metal pieces inside the armrest came loose during assembly but it was pretty easy to repair. Mostly comfortable so far, except the back cushions are much too thin and don’t provide any support. The matching ottoman looks great with it. I would recommend to anyone who wants a basic couch and doesn’t want to deal with pushy salesmen and the hassle of getting a big piece of furniture into the house.

I was truly surprised and the comfort yet sturdiness of the couch. Much more surprised with gracious and patient they are with customers! The customer service coupled with the comfort of the couch makes it a winner.

Not worth $900, not even worth the $450 I ended up paying for it after having to deal with returning one and getting another. The arms are hollow and held together by the thinnest metal rods, almost like a metal-finished plastic, so of course the arms were broken on arrival. EIAB blamed UPS’s poor handling, and I’m sure that didn’t help, but maybe the arms should be held together by something stronger in the first place? Just a thought. They did send me a new one but the cover quality is so poor, it’s scratchy and just doesn’t look nice, plus it’s just stapled on in a lot of places, that I really just wish I asked for a full refund and be done with it. The back cushions are SO flat, we ended up buying cheap pillows from Ikea to fill them up. Some of the lines don’t meet up, especially in the back of couch where the fold is, so it just doesn’t look well-made. We’ve had it for 2 months and there’s tons of pulls and pilling in the fabric already and we’re barely home to even use it, nor do we have any animals. To sum it all up, not worth the $, and I’m already looking for another couch.

Furniture arrived in great shape. Boxes showed no damage and were clean. Assembly required very little time and we've enjoyed all the seating room in our living room since the first day. We added extra stuffing to the back cushions - appreciate the extra support. And we love the shade of blue - easy to vacuum dog hair off the couch. Sturdy and comfortable.

Love this product. Ordered to see if I would like before committing to two sofas. So far the ottoman is amazing. Waiting for finances and probably will order.

What a fantastic product ! It was just what I was looking for! I purchased the couch and ottoman. It was packaged well, delivery was quick, and assembly was simple enough (even though my son did help me : - ). I love the idea of being able to fold the couch up, put it back in the box, and take it with me when I move. That's one of the main reasons why I purchased it. With that being said, the couch is very sturdy and comfortable. I've invited family and friends to come and sit on it. They love it too! Thanks Elephant in a box team!

I heard about this company online and am really excited to get one. The concept is a really good idea and when I called to learn more they were extremely friendly. Definitely recommend them!

Too Expensive, you can buy a regular sofa for much cheaper

I was devastated when my old sofa would not fit in my new apartment, but all was made right when my mom found Elephant in a Box online! I ordered the elephant on a Thursday and it arrived on Saturday, and it only took about 15 minutes for my friend and I to assemble. It’s comfortable and functional - overall a great purchase!
